My preference is for the 7:17 (give or take) omakase at the bar followed by a night meeting around a square or round table. Each person has two people to talk to at the bar (Me - Jeff- Elon - Mark - Lauren - Priscilla - Sergey- - Larry - Larry - plus 4 additional guests if others can attend - Camelia Me 12 Camelia Typically my wife returns home early by Lyft or Uber but I stay out later and sometimes overnight in Woodside at a suitable location.”

“My wife and I had a great dinner experience at Roja. Really awesome hospitality. James has an amazing drink menu, get the BOB! Roberto's food menu is excellent. I ended up with the fish special for dinner, which was great. We had the lobster toast and ceviche for apps which were delicious. For dessert the panna cotta was tart and tasty and the bread pudding was excellent. Highly recommend Roja!”

“Food is very good. Banh Mi sandwich is warm and soft on the inside, crunchy on the outside. Contents are flavored nicely. Chicken salad pretty good. Soups pretty good. Service is very weak. Had to walk up to the counter to ask for some sauces, which were promised but never delivered. An ordered item didn't get entered or delivered. Setting is nice but furniture is falling apart - chair felt like it was going to fail. I may go back, but it could be better.”

“When a place has been around as long as this, there must be something good there! That's the case here. Been coming here for years and won't stop coming since we always have a great experience, great service and delicious food. Came here for an early dinner so right when the opened and allowed us to get great service, enjoy the outside patio and the quietness of the street.

“I had the bento box at Mikado in downtown Los Altos and it was excellent. Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and very flavorful. The portions were generous and well balanced, making it a perfect lunch.

“We have been ordering from Yoshi Sushi via Uber Eats. The food is very good even after delivery. Well, we live about 1 mile away so delivery is really fast. I forgot to take photos of the sushi but it is very good.

David and Jaime, the owners, along with their entire staff, went above and beyond to make sure our group was taken care of. Everything was well-organized, welcoming, and seamless, which made the night even more enjoyable for our whole team.

“OPH is one of my favorite breakfast chains, but this location isn't like the others. The usually light, fluffy pancakes were heavier and the bacon wasn't the thick-cut awesomeness found across other OPH locations. The building was also an anomaly among other OPH locations I've been to, lacking some polish and charm. Service was attentive, so points there.

As a breakfast place, not terrible. But as an OPH, I expected more consistency with the brand standard.”

“I discovered the place by accident. I was next door inside Michaels having some art pieces custom framed when I decided to look for a place to stop by to eat. I was starving. I was craving for pasta. And thats how I got to discover this place. I ordered the chicken fettucine alfredo. Love the dish with its chunky chicken pieces and al dente pasta. The complimentary cheese sticks with that cheese pimiento cheese spread was a delightful surprise. Next time Ill check their lasagna and clam chowder. I heard their clam chowder is as good as Boulins in San Francisco. I dont have to make a drive to the city to enjoy a good bowl of chowder. The lasagna looks so rich as well as their chopino. Im definitely comjng back.”

“New “more than a coffeehouse” in Mountain View with a Venezuelan touch. Good ambiance and the menu offers an extensive list of items to please every taste. I got the “empanaditas” which are fried. Comes with cheese filling and ground beef. The red sauce was super hot. Caught me by surprise and I coughed and got teary eyes. It needs a warning! Coffee was great and look at that perfect heart work! Just beautiful. Parking during a Saturday can be challenging but a 2 block walk is a solution. Try it!”

“I have been coming to Red Pepper since March of 2020, and the place is fabulous! The staff, food, drinks, and they treat me like a family member. The owner, Mario Gurrola, has always been great to me. He treats me like a son, and so do their staff. My favorite margarita is the Mi Caballo, I am a regular customer, can come to a safe place to feel relaxed. So, come to a welcoming and friendly Mexican restaurant! 😊”

“Underrated. Best pho in the area. Best ambience, and generous portions of noodles and beef. Friendly staff. The rice wrap on the spring rolls was fresh and not at all chewy, noodles were the same. Tender beef, not overcooked. Also, slightly cheaper than other places. Rating a 5 because they deserve at least a 4.6. Really enjoyed it.”

“I don’t think the chef was Japanese but I have to say this was some of the best Nigiri sushi I’ve ever had. Generous portions of extremely fresh fish on well-sized, perfectly cooked slabs of sushi rice. And beautifully presented. A bit pricey ($45) but well worth it. Can highly recommend.”

“Overall, I’ve had a great experience here at teaspoon. My favorite drinks are probably the mango Funtime, strawberry colada, and black sugar assam. Easy 10/10 for all these drinks. They make the drink quite fast too. The average wait is like 3 - 7 minutes. Love coming here!”

““Authentic” is the best word to describe this place, from the food to the staff. I’ve been coming here when I am in the area since a Vietnamese coworker introduced me to it in the 90s.

My go-to dish is the lean beef Pho, but there are many other options including rice and noodle dishes. The service is fast and the pho is delicious.

I try to arrive after the lunch rush since it can be very crowded at peak hours.”
