“I tried The Good Salad for the first time and OMG it was absolutely delicious! I tried the Pesto Ceezar and the dressing on it is insanely good. They also give a decent amount of food. The food is really good quality and I'm so happy I found my new salad spot!!!”
“I absolutely love State of Mind. I don't know anyone that doesn't. The quality of their pizzas alone will impress you. This is the kind of place that will convert a "crust hater" into a "crust lover". I recommend the Heat and Sweet or their limited quantity Grandma's Pie. Also, try their "SOM dusted French fries, they're killer! Great selection of craft beers on tap. Relaxed, family friendly atmosphere with a mini arcade area for kids.”
“I love this place ! Everything is fresh and healthy for you ! I would recommend this place to all my friends . I loved the crystals and will be back to purchase a few of them . I love the idea of the yoga sessions as well . I will be back ! Glad I found you guys ! ❤️?❤️??? you guys are the truth !”
“Near a curve on a four line road is an eclectic older Mexican restaurant with artistic merit, interesting landscaping outdoor dining and several different kinds of tables and chairs indoors, including a bar.The menu has several options many of which I had not seen in Mexican food places before. I have tried their tamales, chili relleno, black beans, pinto beans, rice, grilled chicken, quesadilla, pico, guacamole, and the provided chips and salsa. All of the flavors are excellent. The green sauce and masa of the tamale, and the firm aged relleno cheese filling were outstanding.Indoors is Mexican music, while outdoors there is traffic noise. The tortilla chips are the thin triangle bagged kind. The restroom has an old sink and fixtures. But the custom artwork, high ceilings with paper fiesta decor and painted furniture are classic south of the border. The seats are all flat wood, no cushions. No sauce bar or extra hot sauce present. Will need another visit to try the mole.Vegetarian options: Enchiladas are great.”
“Great Mediterranean food in my favorite area of Los Altos.Great bread, delicious appetizers (we had the feta cheese roll). The poached pear is a great choice for a desert.”
“It's challenging in California to find a pizza that reminds me of NYC, here they make a delicious pie with "color"! NO BLONDE CALIFORNIA PIZZA!!! The grilled octopus appetizer was delightful, tasty good size on top of arugula...WELL DONE.Tiramisu is delicious. They also have a very nice, albeit small wine selection. We'll be back!!”
“Excellent Italian, fresh food and courteous service. The La Scala salad with the arugula, beets, goat cheese, and homemade balsamic vinegarette dressing is one of the best salads I've had. Veal Marsala is also very good.”
“Back to my home town. Met up with my sister and my nephew, catching up a little and also picking something’s up too. Ate and tasted a few lovely cakes as well.”
“Having visited Chef Chu in Los Altos on multiple occasions, I've found the dining experience to be generally pleasant, albeit with room for improvement. The restaurant boasts some delectable dishes and a welcoming atmosphere, but there are notable areas that could be enhanced.Firstly, cleanliness standards need attention, particularly regarding glassware and cutlery. On several visits, I've observed dirty glasses and teacups, suggesting subpar cleaning practices. It's perplexing for a renowned establishment to overlook such basic hygiene, leaving patrons questioning the maintenance standards.Another aspect warranting consideration is the imposition of a limited dining time. Despite patrons wishing to linger and enjoy conversation after finishing their meals, there appears to be a rush to clear tables, even if dishes still contain food. This policy detracts from the relaxed dining experience expected at a high-profile restaurant like Chef Chu.On a positive note, interactions with some waitstaff have been delightful, reflecting the friendly ambiance cultivated by Chef Chu himself. However, consistent efforts are required to ensure all aspects of service align with the restaurant's esteemed reputation.Regarding the cuisine, while some dishes excel, others may fall short of expectations. It seems that char siu might not be the restaurant's forte, highlighting areas where culinary refinement could elevate the overall dining experience.”
“We were craving a carbonara but we tried plenty of other items on the menu as well. We must have been hungry because we ordered a garlic shrimp and a bruschetta for appetizers. Then a risoto, bolognese, tortellini and a medium pizza Pompeii. For dessert we shared a limoncello tartufo. Service was great. The style was more of an old school Italian, nice sauces, perfectly cooked pastas. The pizza bread was thick kind and the toppings tasty. Our favorites would be the tortellini and bolognese but the rest were equally nice. The dessert was divine and I am usually not a fan of lemon. Bread is served with dinner with butter and a nice dipping sauce.”
“Superb dining experience! Wonderful presentation for all of the dishes, and all the sushi, beef, and sashimi was fresh and well prepared. Excellent selection of sake, along with a very attentive staff that took care of every little detail. Can’t wait to go back for another meal soon!”
“While in the Los Altos downtown, we were looking for a spot to eat and found this on Yelp. It was a nice find. We enjoyed the food on the hot day and sat outside under the umbrellas on the benches. I ordered a greek salad with chicken and it was very good and fresh. It came with few pieces of bread on the side. The service was great. I would recommend!”
“Came on a Thursday night before it got too busy, I left when it was full! Got pretty wasted , in a good way. Living walking distance is awesome. The duck fat cocktail sounded better than it tasted. Followed it up with a classic drink j forgot the name of lol. They are strong , and I love that ! Great neighborhood cocktail spot I hope it stays”
“I had a birthday lunch here and it was delightful! It was 6 teenagers which is really intimidating for a lot of restaurants but the wait staff was kind and respectful. The FOOD WAS WELL PRICED AND DELICIOUS.For $20 u get an amazing bowl of Pho and the biggest plate of bazil and bean sprouts I’ve ever seen. (But to be fair there were 6 people it could depend on the ammount of people there)The atmosphere was delightful! The wood furnishing with green cushions was adorable and refreshing while not too fancy to be intimidating. Will be coming again to try the coffee!Thank you so much Pho Banh Mi for hosting my 18th birthday lunch :)Vegetarian options: I wasn’t paying attention much but they do have bangin vegetarian food”
“Good Food specifically Appitizer’s.Balance of Taste can be felt.Wanted to give 5-star but we had high expectation from Daal-makheni which was missing heavy milk to a great portion.”
