I walked in at 7:30 first customers of the day and I was greeted with kindness. I sat down and I ordered a delightful strawberry banana fruit smoothie which was brought to me quickly. Then I ordered two pancakes and a side of bacon which was brought incrediblely fast. was pretty good compared to other cafe's. My experience here was great and I would highly recommend Rick's Cafe if you're near Los Altos and looking for a great breakfast or lunch.
Clean coffee with delicious food and nice stuff always with smile.
I'm currently visiting SFO and wanted to check out a typical breakfast spot... the food was perfect.

Rick's Cafe is an old-fashioned breakfast-brunch restaurant in downtown Los Altos. The spacious cafe offers a wide selection of classic and tasty breakfast dishes. The friendly staff is helpful in recommending delicious meals, including the grand slam dish. The coffee is better than average for a coffee shop and plenty of it. Rick's Cafe is a low key local brunch cafe with an extensive menu. The apple pie cheese kleenz is interesting and well balanced. They recently added a few Mexican dishes to their menu, such as chilaquiles, which are a solid choice. Their benedicts, smoothies and bagels are also really good. However, their pancakes are the best! The restaurant is wheel-chair accessible and kid-friendly with a kid's menu available.
