“What a quirky, rare find! A true dive bar, very real and authentic. There's, obviously, a bar, plus karaoke in the corner, a big wall for darts practice, a pool table, and several arcade games. Friday night was sparsely attended, but the karaoke was strong and the darts were still flying. Drinks were less than $10, the bartender was polite, and the other patrons were thoughtfully minding their own business. We loved everything about it?“

“Went for a family dinner and this is by far the best Brazilian steakhouse we have been to in the bay area. Food was delicious, servers were incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy even with a full house. Maybe the only gripe was we had booked a reservation at a specific time and did not actually get seated for roughly 20-30 minutes after the fact which felt bizarre.

Still, definitely cannot recommend it enough and hope to come back soon.“

It's the absolute opposite of many of the bars/restaurants just down the road. Those are nice too, but cannot keep up with the character at Pioneer...“

“We were weary travelers stopping by Scotty's in hope of a more chill vibe with some good food, and Scottys delivered! Our bartender, Sergio, was so friendly and fun! We got some inside knowledge about the town as we are from Oregon. The drinks were perfect and the food was top notch! I would have expected to pay a lot more for the quality of food and service we received at literally any of the surrounding places. We will visit Palo Alto again if only to go back to Scotty's as a new tradition! Thank you, Sergio, for making our anniversary dinner a great one! Someone give him a raise!“

“Aloft Sunnyvale on its own is good enough value for money spent. However, what truly stood out was the customer ser ice of its front desk. Shoutout to Michelle for helping me out a ton when I was trying to extend my stay. No excuses were made and she found a way to get it done even under difficult circumstances. Roy was also great with the room upgrade when he saw that I had brought a friend and might have needed a bigger bed. 10/10 Customer Service!“

“It's a good old fashioned pub. Nothing fancy, just a nice comfortable place to have a drink and make a friend. There is a large outside area where you can smoke and have a drink, which is hard to find. It's my go to place after a hard days work. The service is the best !!“

“Had a wonderful, fresh breakfast and a nice dinner at the restaurant in The Westin in Palo Alto. The breakfast I chose was the bar which included eggs, bacon, potatoes, and French toast. Cereal, coffee, OJ, and toast was available as well a 8 varieties of fruit.For dinner, I started with the cheese plate and finished with the Soleil Burger with Gilroy fries. Long Islands were outstanding. The cheese plate was excellent and served with toast. The burger was cooked to perfection with bacon and cheddar.“

“An interesting place to stop for lunch if you’re at Moffet Field. And it has a dog friend patio. The bar was closed on the Wednesday we went, but the grill was open.
This was apparently the former Officers Club building and sits across from the looming Hangar One.
Both the patty melt and Philly cheesesteak were tasty.

“We came in here after dinner because we weren't finished talking. The atmosphere of the bar was very cozy and very welcoming. We looked over the drink menu and my friend got a tipsy wife I got a blue ledger. Both drinks are very nice fragrant definitely worth the price but man when we went for round two and it got my espresso Martini was I blown away. Zach made by espresso martini with fresh espresso and ingredients in my God it was absolutely fantastic. I really appreciated the time it took to make my drink the espresso filled the air and I was absolutely ecstatic when I was delivered my drink. I definitely will be coming back again“

“I’ve come here twice to enjoy and work from my laptop on the patio. The views are stunning and in the evening when it’s breezy they even offer blankets despite the rooftop being heated at night. The light bites are amazing— I LOVED the charcuterie board. There is a 90 min limit on the table which is fine so others can also enjoy the vibes. The service was great, Chef Tony came out and introduced himself and I sang his praises, the bartender and server was attentive and helpful and both even let me know on Fridays or the weekends in the summer they bring in a dj! Takeout customers should be thanked for not causing dirty tablecloths and dishes -- and LOYALTY. Jessica reinstated that loyalty. I truly hope that the owners appreciate her. They are very big/generous compared to sushi places in SF which are very thin and more rice than sashimi. I would come here again if I was in the area craving sushi. However the teriyaki could be a bit tastier.“

After done eating, you need to bring your own plates to the collection trays. Good place to grab something if you're on campus but too far away from the tresiddor union. There are not many places open on weekends. This is one of those.“
