“Been in the area for work a few times in the last couple months. I found this place on my first trip out here and couldn’t have stumbled upon a better place. They don’t have a kitchen, but you can find some of the best food trucks parked outside the front door regularly. A great place to watch sports and hang out where the locals do. From the owner to Jessica behind the bar, you’ll feel right at home.“

A cool thing about their menu is that they have a light/dark magic theme.. the light magic is the classic cocktail for example an Old fashion, the dark magic is Wunderbar’s take on the classic cocktail in this case it was Poison apple this month.. fabulous idea.. because sometime you just want your regular with a twist! They also have a nice selection of White magic Non alcoholic cocktails..

They were originally going to fit us in for just 20 mins but we ended up staying over an hour and had 4 cocktails. 1 was a special cocktail for the night which was a pandan flavored whiskey.. a tiki drink, the dreamcatcher and the poison apple.. highly recommend all four..

“Stopped in to Newell's for a pre dinner drink. We just kind of stumbled on this place. How does one know where to get a good cocktail when you're an out of towner!?
Well let me tell you about Newell's.. The bartender was fabulous! She wasn't even sure what a certain drink was but she more than nailed it! It was right on! My Cadillac margarita was potent! I managed to wobble out of there to my next destination.. but barely! They do not serve food but our sweet bartender brought popcorn in order to save me embarrassment! Was irresistible and incredibly tender. My Father had their prime rib with mash potatoes. Took the leftovers home. I would definitely go back ! We had reservations so our group went in when it was time.“

“This place is basically a food court for the tech crowd. I like that they offer a wide variety of food, and ordering through the self-service tablet kiosks is quick and convenient. The portions are also quite generous, so you definitely won't leave hungry.
That said, don't expect it to be a place where you can linger for hours or let your kids run around and play. It's more of a grab-a-meal-and-go kind of spot.
We ordered the burgers and the pasta. The smash burger was the highlight—juicy, flavorful, and you could actually taste the wagyu in the beef. The fries were decent but nothing particularly memorable.
The pasta was a pleasant surprise. The sauce was rich and well-balanced, and the cheese was perfectly incorporated. Everything came together really well, making it one of the standout dishes of the meal.“

“It's a good old fashioned pub. Nothing fancy, just a nice comfortable place to have a drink and make a friend. There is a large outside area where you can smoke and have a drink, which is hard to find. It's my go to place after a hard days work. The service is the best !!“

“Had a wonderful, fresh breakfast and a nice dinner at the restaurant in The Westin in Palo Alto. The breakfast I chose was the bar which included eggs, bacon, potatoes, and French toast. Cereal, coffee, OJ, and toast was available as well a 8 varieties of fruit.For dinner, I started with the cheese plate and finished with the Soleil Burger with Gilroy fries. Long Islands were outstanding. The cheese plate was excellent and served with toast. The burger was cooked to perfection with bacon and cheddar.“

The cheese & charcuterie was good and served with ham and carmelized onions which were yummy. The “aged Gouda” was actually smoked Gouda. I suggest they dim the lights further than they were dimmed on 16 Feb, 2025.“

“This place is located in Burlingame downtown. It's a pretty big place and I loved the decor. Not very intimidating but has a good vibe. We made reservations but don't think it was needed. We ordered drinks - aperol spritz and a german beer. Both were very good. We ordered the korean sliders, a butterbean side dish with toasted bread and the risotto as the main. The butterbean side was nothing special but really enjoyed the sliders and risotto. (Just a note about the sliders, although they are marked as spicy I didn't them to be the case). Although the risotto was a main, the portion size was small. We also had the chocolate and vanilla soft serve and really loved it. I think that was the best item of the day. The restaurant did treat as with that as we were celebrating a special occasion.“
