Great dive! Close to the airport. Grab a burrito at One Love across the street and head over here for the fun.
Stopped in to Newell's for a pre dinner drink. We just kind of stumbled on this place. How does one know where to get a good cocktail when you're an out of towner!?
Well let me tell you about Newell's.. The bartender was fabulous! She wasn't even sure what a certain drink was but she more than nailed it! It was right on! My Cadillac margarita was potent! We visited early in the evening on a Saturday. Main reason we chose this pace is it was a short walk from our hotel. Lucky for us, as it turns out, this is the quintessential neighborhood dive bar, where everybody knows your name. Our bartender was very friendly as were all of the patrons we met. We have one more night in San Bruno so after we do our touristy stuff in SF we will finish our night here!
