Ever since we went to Hawaii we’re always on the hunt for good, authentic Hawaiian food and this place nailed it! The chicken katsu was crispy yet moist and tender. I also ordered spam musubi which was delish. The portions are huge and it’s reasonably priced, especially for California. We will definitely be back.
A great no-frills restaurant to have a quick bite or just some simple meals to eat. A Chipotle but the Hawaiian kind.Particularly like the chicken katsu bowl and the beef curry bowl.

Friendly staff. Huge portions that taste terrific. You can ask for less rice and more macaroni salad on the plate lunches. Have bought take out plates of the Chicken Katsu and each one served 2-3 people. Love the Pork Lau Lau & the kahlua pork, offered with or without cabbage. The only thing they lack is island deserts. They have boxes of imported cookies.
