“Love coming to this place with my family or friends. We often do family styles here and order a variety of food. I love how they give a side of fish as a banchan, reminded me of BCD tofu house in SoCal.”
“I’ve always loved Italian food, especially good lasagna. Recently finding this place in San Bruno we had to try it. This place is absolutely amazing on both food and service. I’ve been to top restaurants in the city that do not have as good of service or food as West Coast. Keep up the great work, you guys are phenomenal!”
“Wasn't a fan the first time though the cousins were. Enjoyed it much more the second time.
The first time we got medium spice for most of our dishes and was really struggling. So the second time we got mostly mild. But the mild had no spice at all. Would love if there was an in between spice level.
* Papadi Chaat - medium spice. Crispy. Cold. Didn't know there were spice levels for chaat. This is not a main menu item but instead a special we saw taped at the counter. Would get again
* Aloo Tikka Chaat - medium spice. Mixes really well with the papadi chaat
* Chicken Vindaloo (mild) & Lamb Vindaloo (medium) - both the vindaloo sauce came out tasting completely different. We don't know if it's because of the spice level or the fats from the proteins but it was different. We enjoyed the lamb vindaloo more.
* Chicken korma (mild) - good
* Paneer tikka masala (mild) - favorite but would have liked a little spice
* Chicken biryani (mild) - good
* Garlic naan - have garlicy. Not too oily. Crispy.
All curries comes with rice if you ask for it.
There are specials on the counter.
Free endless chai.”
“The food and service were amazing. I arrived at this restaurant about 15 minutes before my friends were here and they were accommodating. My friends ordered dishes from the menu and I had their $128 omakase. They were very generous with the portions. The food was very filling and delicious. The servers were very attentive and our tea pot was always refilled. We ended up packing a couple boxes to go.
Whether you're going to try the omakase or order your own main dishes on the menu, you will be walking out with a belly. ?”

“The service here was exemplary. The moment I walked into the store, I was greeted with a smile. The drinks were made right in front of me. I can smell the freshness of the sugarcane as it was being made. We ordered the drink with calamansi. This drink took me back to Vietnam where I grew up.”
“Great tasting authentic Middle Eastern cuisine. Owners from Gaza Strip originally.”
“Best BLT ever. An unexpected find and the sandwich selection was great. I went will the simple BLT, but it delivered big taste. Mr. Carroll was very friendly and gave us a history of the deli and the sports memorabilia. Lots of character and good food too.”

- carnitas
- asada
You would not regret ordering them as “taco especial” (guac, sour cream, and cheese) if you can.
I love their chips & their self serve sauce corner.”

“Atlas is a unique place. I’ve stopped by with friends for an event but not really had the full Atlas experience until tonight. I had one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had! The Italian garlic combo! Friendly staff, wine and beer, tonight there was live music on the patio area. Max the owner is a wonderful host who is very active in the San Bruno community. Atlas is bringing good times back to down town San Bruno. Make it one of your first post pandemic stops!”
“Large sandwhichs fresh ingredients and a great selection! Deli is clean and the people working were friendly. I will defently be back gave menu to bosses and I think one went over there today.”
“I came in because of the amazing smell from outside! I was not disappointed! Looks like they are installing new appliances for even more delicious food choices! Although I took my (huge) sandwich to go, there was plenty of room to dine in! I'll be back for sure!”
“Allie and Stephanie's restaurant is great! It's a pleasure to meet you, to have the opportunity to admire your cooking, and to talk about it in the middle of the night. Very recommended :^)”

“They have the Best Burgers in the Bay Area❤️ The staff is very Friendly and Nice❤️❤️❤️”
“My son and I YELPED for Mexican food.Good Mexican Food, and decided to give this place a try. I had the Spicy Shrimp Plate, and my son had the Steak and Spicy Prawns. They also provide Tortilla Chips and a Salsa Bar. The guy who cooked our food, knows how to cook! My shrimp was absolutely a balance of green/red peppers, onions, in a slightly sweet, savory and mildly spicy sauce. The Rice was done just right(not dried out). The Black Beans, were tender, with just the right amount of salt. The Iceberg lettuce and sliced radish was cold, fresh and crispy— Served with a dollop of sour cream, avocado sauce; a slice of tomato and sprinkle of Mexican cheese top the salad - it did a nice job to balance the heat of the main course. Everything was well executed. The overall indoor atmosphere is very clean, simple and no frills. Love their neon menu signage. And, their prices are reasonable. Thank you for the delicious meal. We will be back.”
“Best pizza ever! I’ve been eating totos for 50 years! In my opinion it’s THE BEST!”

You can choose toppings from salads and sauces
They offer free lentil soup
Vegetarian options: Falafel, salads and lentil soup”
“very good Chinese BBQ. Delicious. Taste way better than other BBQ places in the bay. Please ignore the bad reviews(most are competitors trolling). If you like authentic Chinese BBQ, you will like this place.”
“Who doesn't love pie. Maybe the pied piper
Cream pie ? . Just not in the morning . No sugar in the morning unless Sharis is giving away free pie. Atmosphere is dennys except more pie. “My favorite kind of dive bar - dim lighting, cheap drinks and strong pours, and full of regulars nursing their beers and chatting with the bartender like old friends.”

“I'm surprised I haven't reviewed this place yet as I thought I did.
This is probably one of the best places for Dumplings (水饺) because they are delicious here. The price is decent and you get to see them making them because someone is always making them nonstop.
Service is good enough but the place is very small and parking can get annoying unless you get lucky and found parking right outside.
However food wise I like almost all the options because the dumplings are very good and they are fresh. There are many different options so I suggest you go with a couple of people so you get to try multiple choices.”
“Great food, good price, and quick service - my sisters and I look at it as an extension of our kitchen ”
“Spiral has amazing food. The sushi is delicious. The employees are also wonderful, warm and friendly.”
“Good taco salads here in their San Bruno location. It was $11.29 + $2.49 for the added steak. That crispy flicky taco shell revivals the best of them. Free chips! If you want to mix it up, their mango salsa is a very unique La Salsa thing. They tend to get rid of the mango salsa during the holiday season though. Plenty of seats and service was excellent for a counter ordering restaurant. The cashier is also the chef.
About La Salsa, I used to visit their SF Battery St. location near my office in the 2000's before they closed. Also previously in the 2000's, I used to visit their Mountain View location every other Saturday before going to Fry's Electronics. Their food is healthy if you order the right things.”
“The price is affordable and the price/performance ratio is very high. This sushi restaurant selects ingredients very strictly to ensure the high quality of each dish.”
“Pros: Fresh and good food. friendly staff, very affordable Cons: Hard to find a place to park in that part of town.”
“We had the nigiri special ? ??, unagi nigiri, and shrimp tempura. Nigiri was pretty fresh, but quality could be better. The service on the other hand was top notch. Food was served fast and the place was clean. Will recommend to sushi novices. Parking was a bit hard on a saturday evening.”
“Nice place for late suchi. Great comfort food. Service is quick, quality is great. Also, there are nice separate cabins if you feel like enjoying the food and the company you are coming with.”
“My favorite kind of dive bar - dim lighting, cheap drinks and strong pours, and full of regulars nursing their beers and chatting with the bartender like old friends.”
Takeout Restaurants
“Easy persuasion to eat here. Good grub and fast.”
“Phil Taylor is a wonderful Host. He cordially welcomes songwriters from all over the globe to perform songs in the round style. It’s a great way to share one’s music and meet other like minded folks. I had a wonderful time 1/7/23. Looking forward to a future opportunity to perform my music. I definitely recommend this group.”
“Very delicious ? mouth watering yummy pizza!! ? we pumped gas and saw this little restaurant across the street and decided to stop by since the reviews were amazing and it was so worth it, the restaurant was clean and the customer service was on point! And the buffalo chicken and bacon pizza was fire ? must try if in the area.”

“Sesame chicken was the best in town and very large portions. What sucks is the parking?
Parking: Parking sucks on the street. You have to pay or you’re get a ticket. There’s no free parking only at Starbucks for 10 minutes but everywhere else you have to pay. It’s a big mess for San Bruno.”
“I LOVE this place! Its so fast so much stuff to choose and have plenty of styles of tea and foods!”
“customer service is beyond amazing. fast and quick. owners are very friendly and sweet.”
“Please open a location in Southern California!
Filipino is my comfort food and this was comfort to the max. I dined here with family and we enjoyed the food and venue. Our servers were very attentive and refilled our water and rice without our asking. I ordered the kari kari with crispy pork belly and it was an experience nearly identical to that of the moment the Ratatouille food critic had when he bit into the bite of Remy's ratatouille dish.
The only bit of constructive feedback I had was that I wish the tables had lazy susans. My family and I ordered several different dishes and it was a workout passing serving dishes around and/or reaching across the table. Other than that, everything was a delight.
I'm excited to come back next time I'm in the bay area!”
“I’ve been going there for over 30 years. It’s the best tasting most reasonably priced Japanese food I have ever found.”
“We LOVE Ninja. Found them while living in San Bruno and haven’t stopped visiting since. We’ve since move and still go or get takeout when we want delectable sushi. The rice is always soft, fish is always fresh and the specialty rolls are perfect.”

Drive-Thru Restaurants
“Quick and good quality meal. Loved the crew.
As for ambiance: what I assumed to be the owner was complaining about broken doors in the dining area for most of my meal. Calling various people on the phone to tell them how upset they were. I get needing to fix the problem but it did impact the vibe.”
“Well the service is good but every table in that place was dirty had to ask them to clean the table to sit down and eat food was good will be back.”
“Hi Family
If you need a quick snack you can stop by the Burger King.
The service is top notch.
Tell them Pastor Dre sent you.”
“60 yrs ago, I, my mother and Lorraine E. went on a Santa Cruz county beach excursion. While returning home Lorraine stopped someplace and purchased some kind of drink of orange juice and ice cream. So delicious I tried to emulate that drink. Close but something was definitely missing. That was me at nine yrs. Finally stopped by the Dairy Queen on Bay Avenue, Capitola and got the big cup. So good.”
“I like this Panda Express. Nice variety to choose from. Many people eat there.
As you probably know, this Panda Express is inside the Tanforan Mall in San Bruno Ca., at the food court. If you plan to dine there, just be mindful they close around 7pm.?”

“5 stars all around, amazing restaurant. The food is always exceptional and the service is great. The beautiful outdoor seating is nice and there are lots of interesting statues of Buddha. I’ve been here 4 times, and can’t wait to come again!
Vegetarian options: Most dishes can be made vegetarian and vegan with a request.
Kid-friendliness: The monks are very nice”
“super Delicious and juice, very well done. everyone has to try.”
“These are probably the best tacos I've had in the Bay Area! They are so good and it's a good bang for your buck. If you are in the area, definitely try them. Also, I asked them their hours and they said 10am-10pm, Monday-Friday. Hope this helps!”
“Ordered via Doordash. Got a steak torta and Al pastor torta. Both were pretty good and not to bad on the wallet. The food was prepared pretty quick for delivery. I'll have to try some tacos next time.”
“Actually I was not mindful and I came in less than 10 mins to close and he still let me order Shanghai dumplings.
Price wise it’s average, at 8 for $11.95. Shanghai dumplings were hot and soupy but the texture of the skin was ok. Overall taste was decent, I would say if Costco was an 2.5/5, this was 4/5. Owner was nice and straightforward.”
“Ricopan impresses with more than its delectable pastries; it stands out for its remarkable community engagement. Each visit feels like a warm embrace, highlighting Rico’s role not just as a bakery but as a community pillar. Their commitment to giving back is evident, making every bite of their exquisite desserts feel even sweeter. Ricopan is truly a beacon of both culinary mastery and community spirit.”
“The clerk at the counter was super friendly. I was behind a troublesome customer and she handled it all with a smile.
The food is more comfort food to me. Rice and protein. Yum.
The food came out very quickly and hot.”
“Came to try this place after noticing it while ordering Korean Fried Chicken next door. It's in the strip mall next to 280 on San Bruno Ave. Place is huge, a little dark, and I haven't seen it being crowded ever. Do note that they are closed on Sunday which is really weird for most Asian restaurant.
The food is decent but nothing special. Don't think the soup is from actual bone soup but with the price I don't expect them to. They however gives you a lot of meat for the price. I feel like I got a decent deal. Service is also good. You do have to pay at the counter.”
“Well made pâte à choux at Pâte à Choux. I tried the Nutella roasted almond and the creme strawberry. Both were delicious, staff is nice, and the place is cute but very limited seating. Located on the second floor above the food court.”
“This place has been around for years but surprisingly, this was my first time here. When you walk in, it gives off the vibe that it used to look like the elegant but homey vibe. It still has the same vibe just a little worn. From the outside it is definitely a hole in the wall, you wouldn't think it was that big from the outside.
I think we were one of the first ones here? We were greeted and seated right away. It wasn't too busy when we went but you can see the regulars slowly coming in.
We ordered:
1. Nilagang bulalo - Hot and fresh for the cold afternoon. It was very meaty and had a variety of vegetables like carrots, potato, and bok choy
2. Pork sisig - I'm not sure why I was expecting it to come out sizzling, surprisingly it didn't. After mixing it the flavors were on point. It was the perfect amount of spiciness from the jalapenos, crunch from the onions, and saltiness from the soy sauce. This is one that I highly recommend, maybe even with a fried egg on top or garlic rice. It's also perfect as is with steamed rice.
3. Pinalutong tadyang- I thought this would be crunchy and hard. It was the opposite, it was tender and didn't need much to get it off the bone
4. Pancit bihon- I liked there was a lot of noodles and not all vegetables like some places.
Service was good, food was delicious, and reasonably priced. A lot cheaper compared to filipino restaurants nearby. It's not bougie, it's home style cooking good ol comfort food. I will be back soon and try their other items. The breakfast plates people were ordering looked delicious and the portions were generous.”
“Came for dinner with my husband as we stayed one night near the airport. My husband had the roasted duck noodle soup and I had the shredded duck meat stirred fry noodles. Both came very fast and in a very generous portions. The roasted duck noodle soup was delicious but my shredded duck meat stirred fry noodles was just ok. There’s only little shredded duck meat and tasted quite bland. The price was ok and very friendly staff. Not bad for a quick meal.”
“place is great love it!!!! lol… this is the manager though!!! and we CLOSE AT 9 PM AS OF 3/11/22 I literally spoke to google about it over the phone that WE’RE NOT OPEN 24 HOURS!! they haven’t changed it !!! I’m sorry for the confusion!!”
“Pros: Fresh and good food. friendly staff, very affordable Cons: Hard to find a place to park in that part of town.”
“Awesome little joint! It’s called Texas BBQ but it’s actually quite authentic for its Chinese Northwestern / Halal style BBQ and other dishes. Make sure to get the meat burger & lamb skewer & lamb offal soup, so good!”
“The charcoal grills are a new experience for me. It was awesome! Food was delicious! Service was great! My only complaint would be for the ventilation to be better/stronger. I know to expect to smell like KBBQ after, but I think ventilation can be improved.”
“I heard about this spot because every place I tried in and around my area hasn’t matched boiling crab to me especially their Shebang sauce but I will say their food was a delight! Their sauce for their seafood was spicy good but I’ll take Shebang sauce over theirs because it leaves a taste on your palate wanting more. I will say these guys food was tasty, portions were perfect and it was fulfillin to my stomach which I tried to taste what I wanted on the menu and I enjoyed every bite. Service was a 5 star because the servers were attentive ready to serve and that for me was impressive. I’m definitely going back to try more on their menu.”
“Dear San Franciscan,
This is my fav Thai food restaurant. Try their. Catfish Salad, Beef Boat Noodle soup, Pad Thai, Duck Fried Rice, Corn Fritter and Pad se ew. They are legit!”
“The food was delicious and it was great! The best wings place our Family has tried. Made dinner alot easier the first time we ordered from them. Tough time for our family but we were surprised how affordable it was in the Bay area. Thanks ?”

“Kind of an interesting place but the "Joes club" sandwich is primo. (Think Char-Grilled flatbread chicken breast tomatoes avocado and a little zesty seasoning)
Service hasn't been anything special as you feel like more of an inconvenience when trying to order - but the food is where it's at. (Chocolate protein shake is pretty good too - albeit vegetarian or something)”
