The restaurant was large enough to accommodate all of our family and friends who came to celebrate my grandmother's celebration of life. The food was delicious and exquisite.”

“My son and I YELPED for Mexican food.Good Mexican Food, and decided to give this place a try. I had the Spicy Shrimp Plate, and my son had the Steak and Spicy Prawns. They also provide Tortilla Chips and a Salsa Bar. The guy who cooked our food, knows how to cook! My shrimp was absolutely a balance of green/red peppers, onions, in a slightly sweet, savory and mildly spicy sauce. The Rice was done just right(not dried out).The Black Beans, were tender, with just the right amount of salt. The Iceberg lettuce and sliced radish was cold, fresh and crispy— Served with a dollop of sour cream, avocado sauce; a slice of tomato and sprinkle of Mexican cheese top the salad - it did a nice job to balance the heat of the main course. Everything was well executed. The overall indoor atmosphere is very clean, simple and no frills. Love their neon menu signage. And, their prices are reasonable. Thank you for the delicious meal. “This place serves really good Indian food! Recently, I came to know that they offer two types of thali. One comes with dal makhani, curry, raita, and salad, while the other is their lunch plate, which is available on weekdays during lunch.

The only feedback I have is that they could reduce the quantity of rice a little and include half a roti with the lunch plate and thali. That way, we wouldn’t have to choose between adding rice or naan—we could enjoy both.

Overall, the food is really good, and I would definitely recommend trying it!”

“I was looking for a sushi place in the area. I was surprised to see it was in Bayhill Plaza. Upon walking in, this place was packed. It seemed there was only one person who was the hostess, taking orders, and delivering the food. I give her mad props. With the dinner rush she was all over it. I placed my order for to go, she was super helpful, gave me her recommendations, and she had a smile on her face with everyone she encountered. This place has seemed to have gotten an elevated, more modern face lift/ renovation compared to the restaurant that used to be here. I was surprised that they didn't have standard sushi rolls that I'm usually accustomed to, but from the rolls that I've tried here... change is good.

I ordered:

1. Corn tempura: First time seeing this, I love both corn and tempura. Had to see what it was about. It was perfection. Now it makes me wonder why this has never been done.

2. California roll: Standard staple and was good.

3. Warriors roll: It's an interesting combo, all items that I like.. first bite you're hit with a flavor explosion. At times I felt I couldn't taste the shrimp tempura, but the crunch from the crunchy onion ties it all together.

4. Beef steak: She recommended me to try this first before trying the daily special or short rib. She did not disappoint with this recommendation. The beef was so tender and flavorful.

Overall, a great experience. I will definitely be back for more. I forgot to take pictures, because we inhaled the food so fast.”

“This Filipino restaurant truly made me feel at home. When I walked in, I admired how clean everything was. Well kept and a great first impression. I ordered the Tapsilog with calamansi juice. The prices were very affordable as well. I really enjoyed the house soup that was complimentary. The server was nice and offered me another soup because I enjoyed it so much. Excellent service. The Tapsilog had great presentation, and I liked the sauce it came with. The pickled veggies were a nice balance as well. Their menu is on point and I would love to try another dish next time. “This is our choice local sushi place when we are in and around San Mateo Ave in San Bruno, CA. It's quite affordable and for under $20, you can the 3 item bento box. They also have several special dishes. The only caveat is the paid street or rear lot parking of $1.50/hr.”

One of my friends had a togo order and she waited to make sure the burger got to us before she left her shift. she was so genuinely gracious, pleasant and accommodating We all hope she is working the next time we are in. she’s a great server.❤️ we’re already planning our next trip”

“Good taco salads here in their San Bruno location. It was $11.29 + $2.49 for the added steak. That crispy flicky taco shell revivals the best of them. Free chips! If you want to mix it up, their mango salsa is a very unique La Salsa thing. They tend to get rid of the mango salsa during the holiday season though. Plenty of seats and service was excellent for a counter ordering restaurant. The cashier is also the chef.

About La Salsa, I used to visit their SF Battery St. location near my office in the 2000's before they closed. Also previously in the 2000's, I used to visit their Mountain View location every other Saturday before going to Fry's Electronics. Their food is healthy if you order the right things.”

Guess don’t judge the book by its cover 😉Tried the pork rice congee (hope I spelled that right) and the beef stew clay pot with both the regular and sweet Chinese doughnut. “Clean restaurant, courteous service, and good food. A young man that was about to clock out greeted me and checked up on my mobile app order with the front end manager. Then the manager verified my order number, made sure it was being made, and thanked me for patiently waiting for the order. Really nice people here at this location. I wish to convey that my customer service adventure here was great. Sometimes bad service makes me wonder where all the ‘good ones’ went. “​We visited Yao Yao for dinner on a Wednesday evening, arriving around 5:30 PM. By 6:30 PM, the place was completely packed with a line forming out the door, so I definitely recommend getting there early!

​The ordering process is super convenient—I love their iPad ordering system and the massive variety of options on the menu. While one of their specialties is the pickled vegetable boiled fish, we decided to try the BBQ trio with soy sauce chicken. It wasn't quite as good as the last time my husband ordered it for lunch, but everything else—the house fried rice, pig ear & tripe appetizer, morning glory, and braised beef brisket—was all really good.
