“I’m so excited to have found a place that makes sugarcane juice in the bay area and it’s fresh! The sugarcane is fresh and they juice it to order. I bought a small and then a half gallon to go! Also the gentleman that was working was polite and friendly and gave me samples!”
“Been coming here for 5 years and every time I have amazing food and great service. The lunch specials are super tasty and a great value for all the variety and portions.”
“I eat here frequently, as I work nearby. The lunch special is, for lack of a better word, perfect—enough variation that I don't get bored, and delicious every time.”
“Unassuming, somewhat hidden, but hands down, these guys need a bigger place and to be well known! I know that sushi in the Bay Area has a good rep… But I was certainly not expecting the quality that I got here tonight. I basically ordered off of the specials menu after I started with the SB Uni. Ama Ebi to Otoro, and everything was melt in your mouth fresh and delicious. If I could do it over again, I would have definitely gone with the Omakase because these sushi chefs will not disappoint!”
“Were in San Bruno for a night transit before flying home. What a surprise to find this so nice restaurant! Food was excellent, the service very cordial and nice atmosphere with tablecloths, nice wine glasses etc...Very good price/qualité. I highly recommend it ?”

“The food and service was great! It’s very clean and nice place. I will definitely go back. Kimchi was so good and spicy. Fresh food. Very friendly service! A great place. I recommend!”
“Delicious and fresh! Picked my son up from SFO and wanted quality pizza. Stopped here and was not disappointed! The gentlemen that worked here were friendly and kind. We will definitely make it a point to stop by whenever we’re in the area.”
“Thoroughly enjoyed my oxtail and beef pho, along with shrimp rolls. ?I've no doubt that all other items would be as delicious ? as well. Too bad I'm visiting here for a day only.”

“The food and service here are absolutely top-notch! Today, I indulged in the Code Bleu burger, perfectly charbroiled to a juicy medium. Topped with Bleu Cheese, rich BBQ sauce, crispy bacon, a large onion ring, fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and a pickle, it was hands down the tastiest burger I've ever had! And those sweet potato fries? Crispy, sweet perfection. We also tried the French Dip, generously filled with thinly sliced top sirloin, accompanied by savory au jus and crispy fries. Every dish we've tried here has been consistently delicious. For excellent food, cozy ambiance, and exceptional service, I highly recommend this restaurant!”

“LOVE LOTUS SO MUCH!! OUR FAVORITE PLACE IN SAN BRUNO! Love the shawarma and the shawarma fries, never actually been disappointed by anything we've ordered because it's always so good. Food tastes amazing, is super filling, and pretty healthy. We always order extra tahini and hummus and tabouleh! In terms of desserts I've only had their tiramisu, and it was pretty good! If you're looking for good food, lotus is the place. (free palestine)”
“Yes, the hype is worth checking this place out! Trip tip sandwiches for my buddy and me. 5/5. Mr Carroll is one of the best humans I’ve ever spoken with. He’s amazing and this is an amazing local spot with a ton of history! I can’t wait to go back and try another because it was so good the first time around!”
“Beautiful place, excellent service, and best breakfast/brunch spot. I experience the red velvet latte, coconut latte, açaí bowl, and breakfast burrito. this cafe is a must!!!”

“I have lived in San Bruno 30 years. And just the other day discovered "Big Joe's" restaurant at 487 San Mateo Ave. Apparently, they have been there forever. What an amazing culinary discovery ! Tucked away among the local stores is this inconspicuous gem. American cuisine at is very best. Portions are generous. Quality is five stars. Try their burgers and steaks ! Breakfast OMG. The open kitchen is another plus. Service and cleanliness is top notch too. don't let the unexciting appearance discourage you. This place is 5 stars.”
“I am from SoCal, so I tend to compare it to my local restaurants. With that said, it is definitely good but definitely not 45 mins to 1 hr wait for the food. I can get the same @ Pepe in SoCal in 10 mins or less. That would be my only complaint. The food is definitely delicious. If you are in a hurry, you will be disappointed with the long wait. Their asada was really good.Basically no parking except street parking and that was limited.”

“I've had Vegan Mob at 4 different locations and this one's another great one. I had already been going to Hangry Planet for a late night vegan snack so it was a nice surprise to see that Vegan Mob would start operating the food truck in their parking lot. I could use another spot in SF but this is cool cause I can go to Hangry Planet for a beverage or vegan ice cream coneSmackaroni for the win.”
“Hello...I had the opportunity to stay overnight in San Bruno before heading to Austin, TX. My sister and I decided to walk to Roma Deli for our dinner. I probably was a pain to the gentleman taking my order...sorry...just very picky about my sandwiches. People...without a doubt, this sandwich was the BEST sandwich I have ever had in my life. All I can say is...YOU MUST GO THERE!!!!! SO worth it...thank you!!!!!”
“Ok, so if you never had true Wagyu let me tell you get it here! I don’t usually go to Japanese restaurants but have started more recently and I’m in love with the politeness, the culture of privacy and respect it’s very pleasant. The sake was super good. Loved the atmosphere 5/5 on food, 5/5 for flavor and 5/5 for design. And it’s 6 minutes away from the San Francisco Airport.”
“This is a place to go for good comfort food. The popularity of K-Grill has definitely grown. And well-deserved.The place is either packed or have a line of people during the normal lunch and dinner hour. It’s easier to get a table outside of the normal meal hours. The staff are friendly and nice, albeit a bit brusque because they are so busy. So they are super efficient too.Banchan and tea/water graces the table very quickly after an order is place. And everything that comes from this kitchen is delicious! The is the only K-restaurant where banchan includes a whole croaker for everyone. If I describe every dish, it would be a superlative on everything. I don’t think one can go wrong with anything on the menu. Just go with whatever category you feel like and a delicious meal will appear.Save a bit of the crunchy rice in the original rice container. Before the end of your meal, ask to have some hot tea added and enjoy it with any remaining banchan.”
“Authentic Chinese menu. A mix of Beijing cuisine and sichuan cuisine. The duck skin is crisp. Please just order the duck soup if you are not drinking. You have the option to have fried duck bones. It might only be a viable option if you are drinking bai jiu.”

“First time visitor. Ordered the bacon and egg breakfast with a side of biscuits and gravy. The breakfast was really good. I liked the country potatoes and the eggs were done to order. I have to say I did not care for the biscuits and gravy( well the gravy). The gravy had a congealed texture and was fairly bland. Being a southern boy I expected to have a white gravy and sausage. I took one bite, was unsure so took a second. That was all it took to decide I did not care for the gravy. They removed them from my bill but left me with a unsatisfied craving for real biscuits and gravy. Everything else was great.”

“We always choose Big Mouth when we're craving burgers! Their menu is so big, everyone will find something they like. I usually choose the salmon burger and I'm never disappointed. I also learned you can put the beyond patty in any burger if you're looking to have a vegetarian option. We also love their onion rings. The service is usually quick, but be patient if they're super busy. They're super friendly and whether you're eating in or taking it home, the quality never changes. The place is a bit small because, however, there's outdoor seating to enjoy on sunny days.”
“I can't believe a tofu version of sisig is a thing. Sacrilegious? You would think so but it was very yummy. I guess you shouldn't knock something until you try it! Service was perfect. Very nice, attentive and open to helping you decide what to order.”
“Fantastic place with fantastic food! Especially recommend their baklavas, sumac onions and exceptionally creamy hummus and tahini. And their hibiscus tea! It is so nice how you can build your own meal and get just what you like. They often email you really good promotions with discounts and my wife and I have never had a bad experience! It is always a treat to get the food delivered on a special occasion.Thank you for the great food, Sajj!”
“My wife and I were in the San Francisco area for a week and had generally excellent food. My wife found this restaurant via Google and we decided to visit because of the good reviews and proximity to our Airbnb. We were not sure what to expect as this restaurant was so close to airport and there were many open tables. We had an excellent experience!!! The food and wine were top tier as well as the service. For entrees we had rack of lamb and the linguine lobster. The food was perfectly prepared and of extremely high quality. Towards the end of the meal we go into a discussion with the owner on wineries to visit in Napa/Sonoma. We were both very passionate about wine and at the end she comp’d us a bottle of very expensive wine from her favorite winery. Don’t hesitate to try JC Bruno- you will love it.”
“This is such a wonderful and warm place. The staff and owner are very cordial and kind. The food and especially the halal pizza were exceptional. This is by far one of my favorite places to eat. I would also like to especially thank Dixit who was so kind and helpful.5 stars!!”
“Top notch pizza, always ordering the same thing because you know it's going to be good every single time.this place never disappoints service is great and they don't take long to whip up these delicious pies. And The first timers, you know this place is good if all they sell is 1 thing, a top pick every time.”
“I've been a resident of San Bruno for over 18 years and I had no idea that a year and a half ago Chef May transformed this place into a deliciously Soulful BBQ Shack! The atmosphere and vibe was inviting relaxed and very pleasant. Plenty of seating but the menu is very limited. I strongly recommend that you get there early because food options run out quickly and choices become very limited. The line forms and I was there and watched Chef May have to turn away several customers because she had sold out.My son and I enjoyed burnt ends, ribs, beef, barbecue baked beans, collard greens and cornbread. It was all extremely filling, wonderfully seasoned and very flavorful.Chef May herself is a fantastic soul who totally enjoys what she's doing and the food she preparing. Felt like family instantly. Finally some delicious barbecue and soul food right here in San Bruno! Thanks Chef May, I'll make sure to tell everybody I know keep doing it!Parking: There is a free parking lot however you'll be lucky if there's ever a space available because it's extremely small. You're better off finding a spot on El Camino and just walking up.”
“We're lucky to have 4 solid Mexican spots near/on San Mateo Ave but Mar y Mar and Mi Durango are my go-tos. The food is great and the Micheladas are reason enough to choose this place over any of the other restaurants in the area.”
“Well made pâte à choux at Pâte à Choux. I tried the Nutella roasted almond and the creme strawberry. Both were delicious, staff is nice, and the place is cute but very limited seating. Located on the second floor above the food court.”
“I usually eat brunch there good food / service is great very tentativeI finally had opportunity to eat dinner last weekend 3/30/24Food was excellent ?Appetizers were greatI’ll be returning this weekend 4/6/24. With friendsI don’t live in peninsulaEast bay. Yes I’ll travel for great food / great service. Staff is very friendly. Owner is like a friend ?”
“I typically refrain from writing restaurant reviews unless the experience is exceptionally negative or extraordinary, and "Taqueria mi Durango" falls into the extraordinary category. As someone who travels extensively and particularly enjoys dining at Mexican restaurants due to my Mexican heritage, I often find the food to be satisfactory but not quite meeting my expectations. However, the cuisine at Taqueria mi Durango has undoubtedly surpassed those expectations and stands out as one of the most authentic Mexican food experiences I have encountered in the United States. The portions at this establishment are generous, and the flavors and textures are truly outstanding. Furthermore, the service is excellent, with a friendly and knowledgeable staff who are always willing to assist. It is evident that they possess a deep understanding of their craft. During our visit to San Francisco, we made the decision to dine at Taqueria mi Durango before returning to Utah, and it turned out to be the best decision we made throughout the entire trip. One noteworthy dish we tried was the molcajete, but I must emphasize that every item on their menu appears delicious. If you're in search of a fantastic restaurant with exceptional food, look no further. Taqueria mi Durango is the place to go.”
“I stopped by to help a friend close. Definitely a cool vibe. Gives you a cheers, dive vibe, yet don't need a tetanus shot after being there. I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a spot to relax watch a game, play pool, have a drink or ”
“I always stop at fluffy's when I am in town. The food is authentic as it gets. I love their rice and beans. The girls in the truck are always sweethearts as well. Thanks fluffy's for the bomb food”

“I love this place. Every time I come here they are so friendly. And their food is truly the best. A fusion of Thai, and Chinese cuisine. My favorite dish is the butter garlic crab with french fries. If you order it with a side of garlic noodles it's truly amazing. Their spicy Fried rice has chicken and shrimp in it and is actually very original in taste. Stephanie and Allie have always treated me well. This place is a gathering point of this particular community and most importantly, it's open very late. When everyone else is closed, this is the place you go to for gourmet food when you don't want to have a slice of pizza or fast food. I have met so many good acquaintances here. And this is where I bring guests that are flying in from out of town first. They are right next to the airport......”

“Arrived by car 30 minutes before closing. We had a parking spot right in front of the taco truck on the street. I found this place searching Google seafood restaurants near me! It was to my surprise that it was a taco truck! No worries, we ordered the tacos dorados. They come in a plate of four for $14. They had avocado and the best tasting shrimp combined with the crunch of the taco shell! So good. Came with red salsa that turned up the heat. The tacos were like the kind of food that you keep eating even though you are full!! I felt great after four, but honestly could have had another four! There are plastic chairs to sit down, but it's way better to take the food to go. I'm glad Google suggested this place, perhaps it was the best seafood near me!”

“I've only ordered to go from Ocean Palace. It's always been tasty food with good portions. Also, the prices are very good. Appreciate the friendly service and excellent value.”
“The most delicious roujiamo in the Bay Area (so delicious that I bite it every time without taking a photo). The cold noodles and beef tendon noodles are also great. Now there is also a BBQ AYCE mode, which not only has a variety of skewers, but also meat buns, noodles, lamb offal soup and so on! One person writes in blood asking for group purchase in Nanwan (Crying Cat Cat Head)”
“The price is affordable and the price/performance ratio is very high. This sushi restaurant selects ingredients very strictly to ensure the high quality of each dish.”
“Used on 21mar2024.I am a Japanese person from Amami Oshima. The yellowtail kamayaki was so delicious that I ordered another one.For Japanese people, I would like the sashimi to be cut thinner. The fish was very fresh and delicious.Regarding the balance of sashimi and rice in nigiri sushi, there is extremely little rice, which makes it feel strange. When making miso soup to go with sushi, it is common to use red miso instead of sweet white miso.Next time I would like to make a reservation in advance and try the tuna kamayaki.”
“First time trying here. The chirashi bowl was filling, with plenty of sushi rice, no fish roe but for a lil less than $20 and the amount of fish was good and it was fresh and tasty. The chicken karaage here was def better than a lot of restaurants, it was very good. Neku donburi was okay, it’s with mushrooms as well. Will definitely come back again for the fried foods and chirashi”
“Ordered hot and spicy pork noodles - delicious, tasty but not at all spicy. Despite no heat, taste was very good - noodles were perfectly cooked, veggies were bursting with crunch and taste and pork was done well too and did I mention not spicy!! I also ordered the shrimp pork dumplings- spectacularly fresh! The place was packed on the night I dined in - indicative of its popularity! Only regret is that I didn’t have a bigger crowd with me to sample more of the menu!”
“Had sushi my first night on my vacation. The very nice lady where I bought my Novo smoke vape Suggested the sushi place as one of the best in town. And she was absolutely right! This is some of the freshest sushi I think I’ve ever had. Be sure and check it out downtown San Bruno, and walk around because there is a lot to see here!!”
“I remember coming here for my mom's lunch break when I was little. It looks like the place hasn't changed much. I did notice that they were not as busy, and a lot of people were looking to go to the place next door. The place was decent. The lady who took my order was a little rude. They weren't busy yet she gave me that look, like I was bothering her.We ordered:1. Bento box - beef teriyaki and chicken katsu. It wasn't bad. It hit the spot for the beef teriyaki craving.2. Bento box - beef teriyaki, chicken karaage, and tempura. It was pretty basic at best.Overall, the place itself was ok, but a little pricey. I don't really see myself coming back here anytime soon. It didn't really stand out in a way that would make me want to come back or make it my new go-to spot.”
“Delicious burritos and excellent customer service and overall experience for a fast food establishment. I love the salsa bar and the regular salsa they offer is my favorite and suits my taste well. Food comes out soon after ordering and staff are polite and professional, highly recommend.”
“Don't let the name fool you, but this is a place you want to come to if you want good Viet-Asian comfort food; they take traditional Vietnamese favorites and put their own spin on things. We were fortunate to have the Chef walk by and glad we went with his recommendations.Their ultimate appetizer platter have something for everyone. With the traditional Vietnamese fried egg rolls, to their pork balls skewers poked in a cucumber and Asian style fried won ton pockets. To balance it out, there's vermicelli and other vegetables Another of our repeat favorite is their open flame cooked Quail with sweet onion garnish. Although it's to be have together the quail was tasty as is and didn't really need it. We also went with the Chef's recommendation of Eel, and this is one of the few places that cooks it just right (too long in the steamer and the meat is dry or too quick and the meat still sticks to the bone). Seasoning was done just right and added a savory taste that would've went well with some rice. For winter, we again went with the Chef's recommendation of pig stomach and chicken soup (Asian belief its good to drink this in the winter time to keep the body warm). Lot's of pig stomach and chicken (just needed a bowl of rice and this could've been a meal by itself) but the star was the soup, very hearty and tasty. The beef stew was on par, but their fried chicken and skin (with fish paste as the meat) was a masterful dish.Plenty of parking and although there's a parking lot in the back, it was easier to find street parking.”

“Great ice cream and plenty of seats to enjoy a nice treat. I came here after my kid was done for school. They have many great options to choose from. The staff is very friendly and allow you to sample many flavors. I picked the loco coco! Amazing! The ube is really good too! Overall great ice cream to enjoy a nice day.”
“I've been going to this place often with my family to eat dinner and their pokes are good. They have nice service and are always very polite.I've tried their ramen once and I didn't like the noodles, but the toppings were fine. You order using an order sheet where you select how you like your poke. This is common at poke places. The sitting area has some tables where you can eat but everything is self-service. Just like fast food chains you are supposed to clean after you finish.”
“Solid, authentic Mexican restaurant & food. Casual environment with attentive & personable staff. TVs with soccer games always a plus. Good food (but no mole poblano…my favorite ?)”
“Gerson was an incredibly helpful manager and the pies are delicious!Review of service:As we had never been to Shari's and it was close, we ordered delivery from here. When we ordered, we had a bit of an issue with them not having pies in stock but Gerson was supremely helpful with offering us alternatives. Even with all the help, he also went above and beyond and offered to take care of us the next time we came by. A few days later, we decided to get some pies in person and Gerson was there to help us once again. He not only remembered my name, was immensely personable, but also provided us with stellar customer service in general. I will absolutely be coming back whenever I'm in the area and craving some pies and definitely recommend going if only for just the pies!Review of pies:My friends and I had a variety of pie slices (chocolate creme supreme pie, sour cream lemon pie, lemon meringue pie, deep dish Washington apple pie, sweet Montana cherry pie, strawberry rhubarb delight pie, and a tropical coconut cream pie) all of which were unanimously delicious and reasonably priced. Shari's is our go-to pie place now.”

“The chili fried chicken was awesome, and the mochi cake was mind-blowing! The people were all so nice, and it was fun chatting with the other people there. The general store is so fun to shop at, and we totally stocked up on goodies! Can't wait to go back for shave ice as it was too cold for it when we went. FYI, portions are huge, we had gone for late breakfast and had more than enough for dinner!!!!”
“ExpensiveParking: Parking lot gets full quickly at certain times, usually on weekends and at nightKid-friendliness: Nothing for kids to play with or watchWheelchair accessibility: Roll on in”
“Honestly a family favorite. We love this place! We grew up eating SF Cantonese food. Eating at Ming's is a taste of comfort and home. I appreciate that there is no bomb of MSG in the food. Food is flavorful. Portions are generous. Employees provide excellent customer service. Prices are so decent. And have you seen those lunch options? - so good and comforting, it's like an HK cafe. Closed for indoor dining, but the food tastes GREAT as takeout. Even the crispy salt and pepper fried chicken is very crispy as take out!”
“Friendly staff. Huge portions that taste terrific. You can ask for less rice and more macaroni salad on the plate lunches. Have bought take out plates of the Chicken Katsu and each one served 2-3 people. Love the Pork Lau Lau & the kahlua pork, offered with or without cabbage. The only thing they lack is island deserts. They have boxes of imported cookies.”
“Thai tea is basic, it's reliable, but I wanted to be adventurous and try the green thai tea. I asked them what the difference was, and was told it was a little more floral but it's similar but different depending on who you ask. In my opinion, it was quite different from normal thai tea. It definitey was more floral, but still subtly floral in the general sense. I got it with less ice and 70% sweetness, which was perfect. I do love floral and strong tea tastes and this really hit the spot. It feels like it's high in caffeine content. Tasty! My friend had the coffee drink, which he liked. I tasted a little bit of sea salt in there. The inside of the eatery is pretty big, with an entire back area (where the bathroom is) that you might miss if you're just coming to grab a drink to go. It's a nice place to sit and have long chats with friends.”
“I recently had a fantastic experience here. The food was not only delicious but also arrived promptly, just a minute after placing our order. In an era where quick service is a rarity, it was refreshing to find a place that exceeded expectations. I’m definitely looking forward to returning for another enjoyable meal before we head back to North Carolina.”
“Love this place for boba. It’s different (in a great way) in the sense that it has a Pacific Islander influence. The Tongan Mango Otai is my favorite. They have photos with the drink names if you need help envisioning what the drinks are. Great little spot with even better music always playing. Staff are always nice. There is a parking lot, but also plenty of street parking all the time.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp entrance.”
“Came here with my sister for dinner. This is one of our favorite Japanese restaurants for my entire family. We love coming here because the entire staff is so nice. The cook/owner will come out and check on the guests. It's awesome to watch. We love their miso dressing. And to know that is home made makes it even better. We always ask for extra. Their beef teriyaki is amazing. Perfectly cooked to medium with enough pink in the middle. Their tempura is so crunchy and good! It's not over battered so when you dip it, it keeps the crunchiness when you bite into it. The place is a little hole in the wall. They don't have many seats but if you know what time to come, you'll always get seated. If you come during prime time, be prepared to wait outside to be seated.”
“Great sushi and tempura! Basic and special rolls are big and really filled, and they don't slack on the sauce. Would definitely go back or get take out. Kind of amazing they're open as late as they are, what a gem.”

“I stayed near the airport for a few days and ate at Wendy's Burger. The fries were delicious and the burgers were pretty big. My family wanted to eat something else, so I took a meal out and went back to the hotel. This Wendy's Burger is great. Speed, very convenient to drive ”
“Went there with my fiancé and ordered two large combos of the new spicy western burger with some shakes and when I tell you the service is very fast and very nice! It has a very nice atmosphere and is such a great place to go eat for a quick bite, will be going back soon!Parking: It’s very easy to park there”
“Great! I go there with my grandpa. The fries are always warm and thick. The hot dogs are the perfect size for an average lunch, but may be too big for young ones. The ice cream is always so creamy and tasty, especially the Oreo cupfection! They always load up the ice cream. Definitely love it!”
“It's a very very busy morning! Very impressed with the morning shift. Hard working people. They might be understaffed, but these guys are knocking it out!! I will be returning soon for breakfast again. For the rest of the people on here complaining, be please nice. I don't think the people complaining would last a day dealing with customers, like themselves.”
“American Chinese food, typical Panda restaurant. Get away from most burgers fast food restaurants for a change. The mall is not very busy because of the future closing of the mall so seating is easy to obtain.”

Mar Y Mar
“We're lucky to have 4 solid Mexican spots near/on San Mateo Ave but Mar y Mar and Mi Durango are my go-tos. The food is great and the Micheladas are reason enough to choose this place over any of the other restaurants in the area.”
Cheap Eats
“We stopped by on Sunday per the recommendation of a friend. The food is delicious and cheap! The staff are also nice and had a huge variety of food available in addition to the menu. I had the beef noodle soup and it was refreshing with the stock! It was definitely enough for one person and the Pandanus dessert afterward just made the meal perfect. My friend's pork noodle soup and Thai tea was excellent as well. We will definitely come again.”
“A pure dive bar to its soul. I came here on a Friday night, and Dog House has everything you want in a dive. Chill vibe and bartenders, good drink prices, and an including a variety of shot+beer combo options.I asked for “a Jameson and a beer”, getting a Budweiser and a very generous pour of Jamo for $10. Hope to grab a drink here next time I’m in the area”
“These are probably the best tacos I've had in the Bay Area! They are so good and it's a good bang for your buck. If you are in the area, definitely try them. Also, I asked them their hours and they said 10am-10pm, Monday-Friday. Hope this helps!”
“We came here for dinner and had a good meal. We ordered the house special pan fried noodles, beef chow fun, roasted duck, curry fish balls, deep fried pork chop with spicy salt, beef brisket, shrimp wonton soup, broccoli with oyster sauce, pork and preserved egg porridge, and assorted pork organs porridge. We thought the house special pan fried noodles weren’t that good, but everything else was great. Our favorites were the beef brisket, shrimp wonton soup, deep fried pork chop with spicy salt, and pork and preserved egg porridge. We will definitely be back when we’re back in the area!”
“A great place to grab a quick bite of Mexican food. It is frequented by folks of Mexican background, and normally that's a good indication of the quality of their food. I have been to better, but also to not ad ”
“OK. THIS IS THE BEST KEPT SECRET IN SOUTH CITY. HANA'S HAS: 1.THE BEST ASADA STREET TACOS 2. THE BEST LASAGNA IN THE PENINSULA (I AM NOT EVEN KIDDING) 3. THE BEST CHOW MEIN ON WEDNESDAYS and the list goes on. Offering Mexican sodas and other goodies, this spot is AMAZING! If you try the asada tacos and feel that there is a better place in south city I will pay for your meal. If you try the LASAGNA and you tell me that you have had a better one in the peninsula I will be surprised. On Wednesdays, they do a delicious CHOW MEIN that I like to mix with their fresh veggies. SO DELICIOUS AND GOOD FOR YA! The key here is that they do everything fresh and never frozen. ;-)”
“I got the "Love It" size which is basically a medium. The ice cream I got was the Chocolate Devotion which consist of chocolate ice cream, chocolate chips, brownie, and fudge. I also added Reese's peanut butter cup to it too. If you're in the chocolate mood this is the ice cream for you! The Cold Stone is also located right in the food court of the Tanforan Mall. This so many different varieties of ice creams and toppings here it's hard to choose.”
“My favorites are cauliflower and roasted eggplant, just like the taste of hometown. The skewers are also delicious. All delicious. The boss also likes it enthusiastically. It's just too far away. Will visit again ?”
“I was travelling and saw quite a few poor reviews for this restaurant and found the opposite. Service was fast, thoughtful, and the food fresh and hot. There were plenty of staff too, both out front and in the kitchen. I encourage anyone wanting this kind of fare to come to this restaurant. It is a great place to eat!”
“Mrs. Fields cookies are always good. As long as I can get the 40ish Filipino woman who works there to get off texting her cell phone long enough to realize there is a customer waiting. Last time I was there she looked annoyed that I wanted service. That woman is ALWAYS on her phone texting. WTH?”
“The drinks and food are awesome! The employees do wonders when making a slush! I have yet to be disappointed! I don't go into the store often, but when I do it is clean and the employees are friendly!”
“You can never miss when it comes to L&L bbq. I love the bbq chicken platter. I usually get it without rice and just macaroni salad. Chicken is always perfect and The seasoning is so tasty.”
“Although there are many Vietnamese places in the area, this is usually my first stop after getting off the plane at SFO. Very good pho - haven't tried other selections. Nice people and fast service. Recommended.”
“Dang. Should have given them 3.5 starts as it is the sweet spot for ALL good and more authentic Chinese eateries. Majority of the clientele are elderly Chinese. That is all you need to know. The staff is efficient and friendly. Please note that they are BUSY people so don't dwadle. Raise your hand and ask for service when you are ready to order, add more food, get the bill...standard practice.”
“Came here right before they were about to close. They had a good variety of options and the service was very accommodating. I ended up getting the strawberry cheese cake with 2 scoops which was pretty good. They also allow you to have samples which I enjoyed because sometimes I don't always pick the right one. They have a small seating section inside but noticed that they have a ton of seating outdoors. I'm sure on a nice day it can get pretty busy here.”
“Great sushi and tempura! Basic and special rolls are big and really filled, and they don't slack on the sauce. Would definitely go back or get take out. Kind of amazing they're open as late as they are, what a gem.”
“After getting out of a concert, we were looking for a late night bite. We're from out of town, so definitely not familiar with what's around and who's open late. Thankfully, Seniore's was still open for a couple more hours. We ordered the Pesky Chicken. White sauce, chicken, Canadian bacon, onions, and pesto. Wow! The first bite sold me. The flavors were delicious and the cheese was perfect. I like the pull apart where the cheese is still going, attached to the whole, and you have to manually rip it from the pie. The crust is what sold me. What a perfect crunch! Plus the seasoning has you going in for more. Definitely putting this on my places to return to.”
“The BEST Mexican food ever!!! The service is as good as the food here too!! The drinks are bomb here too, I love the Shirley Temple here it's hits the spot. The waiter we had was so nice and generous!”
“Wonderful and delicious place for KBBQ!! They use real coals at each table and you cook it yourself. Meats and seafoods are super fresh and noodles and soups are so delicious! Service was fast and super friendly! Come for a great meal!”
“The food was delicious and it was great! The best wings place our Family has tried. Made dinner alot easier the first time we ordered from them. Tough time for our family but we were surprised how affordable it was in the Bay area. Thanks ?”

“Very lovely atmosphere, it wasn't busy, staff was friendly and professional. Food was super delicious with a dangerous drink(cuz it was sooo gooood), loved the whole thing, definitely gonna stop by again soon! Thank you!”
“This has been a childhood staple for decades now. I have been going to Rolling Pin for over 40 years now. It's the best. Simple, no frills, just awesome ole fashioned donuts. A dozen donut holes are still $3.00. Not too many bargains like that left anywhere.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp on the side entrance in the parking lot.”
“Great location for Local Kitchens! Located right in the Bay Hill shopping center. Love that there's a variety of delicious options to choose from. An awesome food hall! Customer service: 5/5 Workers are super friendly Cleanliness: 5/5 Very clean and organized. Water station with napkins, condiments are fully stocked I tried out Flavor Trippin' and got the turkey BLTA, Italian turkaletta, woozy fries, Italian chopped salad, Calabrian pasta salad. The food was really tasty and super flavorful. I loved the woozy fries -- crispy and loaded with so much goodness. The sandwiches were perfectly toasted and packed. Definitely will be back!”
“I only ever order the 1lb crab leg special that comes on a bed of roasted garlic potatoes, and for some reason this particular location has the best! The potatoes are crispy without tasting over cooked or dried out, I am thinking it is probably from the amount of oil but however they are preparing them, they are amazing! And, I don't usually eat potatoes when prepared this way.”
“Came here on a week night and got the Pho Combo #1. The service was friendly and we didn't have to wait even though the place is on the smaller side. The soup was above average imo, satisfied the craving but isn't being added to my list all time favorite vietnamese restaurants. The place is very clean, staff were friendly, and prices seemed reasonable. I'd be interested in trying their banh mi's and rice plates next time!”
“Ordered their salad with a request to substitute the grilled chicken with their yummy burger meat. It was sooooo good! Totally satisfied my craving! The servers and food preparers in the kitchen are very nice and accomodating with my special request. Thank you for preparing my food with love! More blessings!”
“Red Robin: A Classic Burger Joint Worth RevisitingI recently revisited Red Robin, a restaurant I used to frequent many years ago, and I believe it's time we rethink our opinion of this establishment. Since Red Robin's introduction, there have been numerous burger joints that have entered the market, many of which are quite expensive. This made me reconsider Red Robin's offerings and appreciate what a great deal they provide.Red Robin is not just about burgers; they offer a diverse menu that includes entrées, pizza, and a full bar. It's incredible to find such variety under one roof. The company has been a pioneer in addressing changes in burger profiles, staying ahead of the curve and adapting to evolving customer preferences. While many Red Robin locations have closed over time, this particular location remains open, and I highly recommend you come and enjoy what they have to offer. The atmosphere is inviting, the staff is friendly, and the food is delicious. Whether you're in the mood for a classic burger or want to try one of their other menu items, Red Robin has something for everyone. In conclusion, Red Robin is a classic burger joint that deserves a revisit. With its diverse menu, full bar, and great value, it's a perfect spot for a casual meal with family and friends. So, head over to this location and rediscover the joy of dining at Red Robin.”

“Nice new deli in San Bruno - love the bread. They have tons of options or you can create your own - which I did. I have the roast beef with all the regular condiments except jalapeños or onions. They pack a lot of meat in those sandwiches. They have drinks and many types of chips. They will make your sandwich hot if you like as well. Very friendly customer service. The place is clean and well kept. Give this place a try and support your local delis!”
