Naan Point is a restaurant located in the south side of San Francisco, known for its delicious Indian food and great service. The staff is friendly and helpful, and they offer complimentary chai tea that is highly appreciated by customers. The restaurant has a clean and comfortable atmosphere, and offers plenty of parking space. The lunch special is a popular choice, offering a variety of delicious and satisfying options. Some customers have noted that the chicken entrees could be slightly larger. Recent reviews highlight fast, friendly service and a welcoming environment suitable for families with kids. Customers enjoyed a variety of dishes, with the Tandoori Fish being a standout—moist, charred, and spicy. Everything tried was described as delicious, and the food is halal with vegan options available, ensuring there’s something for everyone. Visitors mention that the butter chicken is good and not too greasy, and the tandoori chicken bowl offers plenty of chicken and veggies along with rice. Some have suggested that the thali could include naan or bread instead of only rice, as it currently does. Customers also appreciated the attentive staff who made sure there was no cross contamination for those with nut allergies. The chicken vindaloo was praised when paired with garlic naan and complimentary rice. The owner personally ensured everything was perfect and even treated guests to free chai, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Many say the tandoori mixed plate, including chicken tikka, tandoori chicken, lamb seekh kebab, and prawns, is the best meal, with generous portions that can be shared or enjoyed as leftovers. Overall, many customers say the food is excellent and plan to return.
