“I've tried all the vegetarian burritos in town, and La Perla has the best. All ingredients of a super burrito (minus meat) and comes with extra veggies inside - peppers, onions, and spinach fajita style - rather than just a regular burrito, but with less, like most places do. It stands out among the Mexican restaurants in town for vegetarian options. Very good homemade salsas”

“Gillian & Gina run a beautiful business. My favorite thing to do is to make a reservation and bring friends to get the traditional Afternoon Tea Service. They also offer a more casual walk-up menu. This menu includes assorted Tea Sandwiches, Scones served with Clotted Cream and Preserves, Crumpets served with Meyer Lemon Curd, Assorted Sweets and a large variety of Loose-Leaf Teas. Everything is delicious. Also this past year they have been generously hosting Pop Ups for local makers. They also have lots of treasures for sale. Lovey's is a wonderful place.”

“This is my favorite place in the whole entire world, besides my house, and the beach. Truly heaven on earth, especially on cold days. If you are going by yourself, try the hot pot and grill option. If you like baby octopus and shrimp, omg, you are in for a good treat trust me.”

“This spot has been a local favorite of mine for years. I come at least once a week. The food is great, they've got some super creative rolls. The service is fast unless they're swamped, but that's not their fault and I don't mind waiting. The prices are incredibly affordable by sushi standards and the owner works hard to keep them low. Best of all are the staff; they are SO kind and welcoming. I really recommend the place.”

“In a sea of personal choice disappointments in one measured area or another arrive Trish and Becca, two lovely women inhabiting a cafe just off Palmetto Ave serving ambrosial fare in such an aesthetically pleasing atmosphere, including their company, I didn't want to leave. Prior to a recent visit, I had not tried an acai bowl. What a pleasant surprise! I could not stop thanking Becca for allowing me to try her version of same and would like to say thank you for the conversation and ambiance. Excellent music choices. Simply wonderful.”

“Fun surfer punk dive bar with cheap drinks and outdoor patio, complete with surfboards. Free popcorn and occasional handcrafted wood oven Italian pizza for sale outside. Surprisingly, many big names have played at this tiny beach venue, like The Mummies & Supersuckers! This place continues to create new memories for me each time!”

“This restaurant was heartwarming. You can tell they make their sandwiches with love. I loved the handwritten menu. I ordered the number one combination banh mi. You could smell the aroma of fresh baguettes in the air. The sandwich was stacked with layers. Great presentation and I’m glad they had sriracha as well. I hear the mayo bread is a must try as well, will have to order it next. Banh mi great to eat inside or take to the beach. Kitten & Pinky is a Pacifica gem 💎.”

“I go out of my way to get La Mordida' salsa. Generous self serve salsa bar, delicious Chipotle, Verde, pickled jalapeños and carrots, and spicy peppers and mango salsa (I miss the spicy cucumber salad they used to have all the time. The vegetarian options are good, sometimes just all right, but they are very consistent and everything is very fresh. I can make a whole side dish out of their salsa bar while I wait for my order, which makes this my favorite taqueria in town. The one star is missing from my review in atmosphere, only because it's usually quite loud so I only do to-go. I've only sat inside to eat once or twice. The staff is wonderful, helpful, and kind, even with language barriers. Never gotten my order wrong”

“The Green Enchilada offers healthy, clean, vegan or carne options. Every item on their menu can be made with tasty tofu as the protein. Or, if you don't like tofu, just order grilled veggies. I like to mix tofu and grilled veggies in my burrito, bowl or tacos. For those who need it, gluten-free is also available. I'd rate this place a 5 if I could. There's value in the fact that I can eat a tasty vegan meal and my husband can have carne asada fajitas....at the same restaurant!”

“Stopped by this spot in Pacifica today, tucked away in the Linda Mar area, and I’m really glad I did. The service from David was great, the food was absolutely delicious, and the whole place felt super cozy. It didn’t feel pretentious at all, just an old-school family-owned spot that’s perfect for gloomy weather when you’re craving pasta and garlic bread.

I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and shrimp, and it was so good. The portion was incredibly generous, everything tasted fresh, and the garlic bread that comes with the pasta is HUGE. We also ordered the cheesy garlic bread on the side, and honestly, it was amazing dipped in the marinara sauce.

I’d definitely come back and bring more family members with me next time. It’s such a chill little hole-in-the-wall spot. It was surprisingly empty when we went, I think we were the only people there on a Friday night, which honestly made me sad because everything about the experience was great, and they already have really solid reviews.

There’s plenty of parking too. Please support family-owned small businesses like this. I’m so tired of overpriced, overly precious restaurants when places like this exist - great food, great prices, and genuinely good people.”

The service was exceptional and the food was delicious and nicely presented. As a nice addition, there was a pianist playing while we dined which added to the ambience. “A real locals only kind of place where the floor is permanently tacky, the bathroom has seen things that would legally qualify as maritime disasters, and there’s at least one sun-bleached guy named “Sharky” who hasn’t worn real shoes since 1998.

The decor is “nautical decay,” the IPA tastes faintly of salt and regret, and every surface looks like it survived both a hurricane and a beach boys metal tribute band.

There’s a surfboard on the ceiling signed by someone who might be famous, but no one’s sure.
Basically: if Poseidon had a DUI and opened a bar, that’s the vibe. I regret nothing”

Throughout the evening people commented on how good the pizzas were and asked repeatedly where we got them. Even the veggie pizza was delicious, and those are the hardest to get right. When we came in there was an amazing aroma from the fresh baked goods and the owner was so sweet and warm ❤️. I got a bowl and being someone that tries to avoid added sugar and processed foods, I was well accommodated. There was also scripture cards on one of the tables that I absolutely loved! Overall I would definitely recommend and I would definitely come back if I'm ever in the area again.”

“Breaker’s is a great comfortable place to get a broad variety of “comfort food” at a reasonable price. Staff are very welcoming and attentive. Portions are definitely biased towards large. Our favorites are Crab Panini, Patty Melt, and Monte Christo. Definitely an affordable casual good quality restaurant close to picturesque scenery with numerous hiking trails.”

“The sourdough alone is worth coming here. The bread is crispy soft and fresh. If you are a fan of sour dough this is for you, and if you don't know if you are and want to try really good if not the best sourdough ( I hate using the word the best because I'll come across another gem that will blow my mind).

Mac and cheese is made with real cheddar, there's a distinct sharpness that you only get from cheddar.

The sandwich was good, but next time I will have something the complements and celebrates the sourdough, maybe something thing like turkey, avacdo and cheese.

The service is friendly, and fast and music is lively. They could use more fountain drink options but the sourdough is so good I can't hold that against them.”

“I've been dining at this restaurant for club events for several years. Our club receives a varied menu: prime rib, Chicken Cordon Bleu, salmon or surf and turf. The price of our meals include wine, hors d'oeuvres, dessert and gratuity. That's pretty reasonable given today's expensive eateries. The staff is friendly, personable and professional. Food is prepared quickly and efficiently. I recommend this restaurant for small parties/groups. 😊”

The meat was so tender and juicy 🤤. I ordered mine with light onion and mayo and it was just perfect! It was a nice chill spit to grab lunch. “One of the few fast food options with real vegetables available and all at a reasonable price. The new app brings some much appreciated discounts for repeat customers. This particular location can be fairly generous with portions but once in a while you will get one of the smaller servers who also thinks smaller portions of food is acceptable but I would disagree. Service is fast and almost never out of any of the main dishes or available mostly fresh in a few minutes of ordering. Thank you to all staff for providing good service at one of the few options for health concerned people.”
