“I loved that they have parking in the back because that’s a huge deal in SF. Their flavors are very unique, I tried the Thai tea which was amazing as was the espresso toffee crunch. My wife really liked their chocolate caramel crunch flavor too. I was excited to try their ube but unfortunately I sampled it and tasted pretty much no ube flavor it was just purple lol. But I’d def recommend Mitchell’s for anybody that wants good ice cream in the area or wants to switch up from the usual flavors“

“Stumbled upon Polly Ann while looking for a source of birthday cake for a friend. Polly Ann is absolutely the best - high quality ice cream, incredibly massive list of flavors, their whipped cream and frosting are the best we've encountered in SF, and the staff all really want to help and worked with me to make every order right! This is now my go-to for birthday cakes, and each one has surprised and delighted. One friend said it's the best birthday cake he ever had. Another friend asked for a 2nd one, because they put left overs in the fridge (ice cream cakes melt in the fridge) and liked the cake so much they wanted a replacement, with the exact same flavors.

When I was delayed and couldn't pick up the cake in time for the birthday party, the shop staff were so helpful and worked with me to get an Uber delivery organized and they made sure the driver got the cake and they saved the day!

Note: if you order through Doordash or Uber, Polly Ann does delivery, but NOT through their website. The website will let you schedule delivery but this is not accurate, I think the owners are working on fixing the website - in the meantime, ensure you plan on pickup if ordering direct.“

“The kind worker, Amir was really welcoming and thoughtful. He gave my friend a strawberry and chocolate cup when I got the Dubai chocolate one because she was allergic to pistachio. Even though she couldn’t eat it in case of cross contamination, it’s the thought that really mattered to us. The froyos we got were really good. Definitely recommend!! 10/10“

“I came across here on a beautiful day and was craving for some ice cream. Was greeted and welcomed by one of their friendly staffs, she explained to me they offer ice cream and gelatos and the different flavors they carry. They also have many things to choose from, such as sundaes, milkshakes, boba drinks, smoothies, mangonadas, etc. It’s a cool little spot in the neighborhood that definitely attracts customers like myself. “This is a charming ice cream shop on broadway Burlingame. They have a great selection of tasty hand crafted ice creams, yogurts , sorbets, chocolates and candies. It's an ice cream shop that fulfill the most posh of taste. My favorite is the Ube ice cream . Its so luscious , thick and creamy texture with a mellow, subtle nutty, and a hint of vanilla flavor. Location is great. It's on broadway Burlingame next to Walgreens. Meter spots , parking lots , and 2 hrs of free parking available. Cute ambience and the entire staff is attentive and welcoming.“

“This place is WONDERFUL! The paletas come in dozens of flavors, and all that we have tried so far are delicious. (If you aren't familiar with a paleta, it’s like an ice cream, or a popsicle, or a combination of both on a stick, but with added goodies like fresh fruits, even a whole Oreo, maybe alcohol extracts flavors, bubblegum, you name it!) IAuthentic. Just like from fresh from Michoacán!“

“Drive by many times and thought that I wouldn't like something like a yogurt drink. Turned out it was very good. Delicious! Been there twice..... But the young ladies there are a little bit...... Not friendly!!

“I've been going here for a few days straight this week because who doesn't have a craving for a good sundae? Three scoop sundae for $10-$11, I think, is pretty standard nowadays. Surprisingly, this place was pretty busy both days I went. It's been super cold lately, too. The kiosk or place is generally clean. Both times, I wanted to try the waffle bowls, but I couldn't help but question if it's fresh? I was surprised they still had seasonal holiday flavors like peppermint.
The menu is pretty standard, and you can make a dazzler with any flavor ice cream you like. I only wished the people who worked there spoke English. I told the lady the first day I wanted a build your own dazzler/sundae, and we weren't understanding each other. To the point, I just told her the flavor brownie a la mode and had her choose the toppings.
The sundae itself melts fast because of the hot fudge, but I just love the yummy gooeiness of it all. Something about it is so comforting. Even as it melted, I drank every last drop like chocolate milk or a melted milkshake...good to the last drop.“

“If you're in the area and looking for takeout while on a budget this is a great option. The owner is very kind to all of her customers. She also gives very generous portions. The food is decent but the decor is dated. I wouldn't recommend dining in but she has a few chairs for you to sit on. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Support our local businesses especially ones that treat their guests very well like this one.

“First thing first the workers are really kind and yes one of the questions is what if you ask for a sample they will give you if you ask more than one you're the most much samples you could get is 3 and if you sign up they will give you a free a scoop of ice cream that is true that's not fake if you sign up at Baskin-Robbins they would give you one free scoop of ice cream and there are parking spots around it and there are a lot of other places close to it so yeah and overall the workers are really kind and the ice cream is really really delicious“

“I am going to change my review after being called and harassed from the owner who yelled at me. I am so sorry, You see that I belong to this crazy group of people who believe when we order something. It's that something that comes our way. It's my fault for not understanding how it works now. We order, then something comes and we are supposed to like it and only give good reviews but not our actual experience.

So it's more about the social media presence, and not the customer, ah ok. I get it. How silly of me to write my own experience down and give my opinion. Being yelled at on the phone is now dessert, and the pass the buck between the delivery companies is the point at which no one is responsible.

I am gonna continue to be thankful and make great orders and give great reviews. I will have slightly adjusted expectations knowing maybe it will come. I will write those great reviews, 5 stars all the way, yay, Although it won't be the truth, I think this is what the restaurant wants me to do.

Food was great, it wasn't what I ordered and I couldn't be more happy!!!!!!! 5 stars all the way. We will stop at nothing to protect the ego of restaurant owners in this city.

Dietary restrictions: Everything is clearly labeled and every staff member has let me know any additional information whenever I've ordered an ice cream cake.

Parking: You can easily find parking in the back parking lot located police station and walk through the shopping center, or, easily find parking at a meeting or timed for free.

Kid-friendliness: They have been nothing more than kid catering, so if you're an adult be careful! If you're a kid you're going to get everything you like and more!

Wheelchair accessibility: Easily accessible through anything on the first floor with multiple ramps.“

“The froyo was a delicious treat. Their pistachio flavor is hand made and you can put toppings such as fresh fruit and jellies that would normally be in boba. My personal favorite flavor was the pineapple dole whip, just like Disneyland, with lychee jelly!

The store also has games and a bright atmosphere for kids. We had a great time here overall!“

The older gentleman working there was nice enough, but there was a girl that didn’t respond in the slightest when I told her thank you and to have a nice day. I mean, I don’t care if she had a nice day. I was just being polite. And she didn’t even look at me throughout our interaction. Just handed me my food, with a sort of “hurry up and leave” attitude. I mean, she doesn’t have to look at me either. I know I’m hideous. I dunno, I’m from the midwest. People make eye contact and exchange niceties out there. I guess I won’t bother being polite here. No one cares anyway. Hahaha“

Incredibly good food, everything's made fresh and they are so fast. I can really recommend the special sandwiches or wraps for a healthy and tasty lunch. Or a toasted bagel if ur rushing to class. And the açaí will make your day! Have never found a better one anywhere else. Also love the staff, they always make me smile.“
