“Wow! I am really impressed by the gelato here. I popped by on a whim and I’m honestly blown away by how clean their gelato tastes. Their gelato isn’t heavily flavored or give off that icky artificial sweet after taste, so if you’re used to baskin robbins this place is not for you. However, if you are (a) looking for a sweet treat that doesn’t make you feel guilty or crummy afterwards or (b) Asian (“not too sweet” is our ultimate compliment after all) then run don’t walk!! I tried their chestnut flavor and their ube flavor. The ube was just right with a light ube taste, toasted coconut, and a hint of vanilla. The gelato was not a ghastly fake purple color. I’ve never been able to finish a whole cone of ice cream/gelato before because it always ends up overwhelmingly sweet, but the gelato here was just too good! I’m going to recommend this spot to all my friends.“

“Amazing sandwiches and bread!!!!“
“Nice, nice, NICE people and great food. I was wandering around downtown Redwood City and decided to give it a try. I ordered a sandwich (The Redwood) which was generous without being so stupidly large you can't finish it. It was great, fresh and full of flavor. This place is a gem.“
“She is now located in front of Tere’s Boutique near the Chavez Supermarket by Middlefield Road.I love her raspados so much! I used to get them after church growing up. Her recipes are delicious and traditional. My favorite one is the raspado de Guanábana (soursop). It’s perfectly sweet and the pieces of fruit are delicious. I have also tried and liked her limon, rompope, vainilla, coco, nuez, mango con chile and chicle flavors.I recommend also trying their tostilocos with everything plus extra hot sauce. They are super delicious and a very generous size. Her fruit cups are also really good. The fruit is always perfectly ripe and fresh.Definitely recommend when you’re in Redwood City. All her antojitos are delicious, fresh and never overpriced. Great value, taste and quality.“
“I recently visited this place and had an amazing experience! I ordered the Tostitos con elotes and it was incredibly delicious. The service was top-notch and the ladies at the counter were super friendly. I'll definitely be back for more!“
“I came in right before closing and the woman working still took her time to help me without rushing at all. She was patient, professional, and made sure everything was taken care of. Even though it was closing time, her service was awesome and she had such a positive attitude. Really appreciate the great customer service! Glad yumi came back to rwc!“
“That good place ion customer service nice“
“Guanato’s Snacks is a small Mexican drinks and snacks spot in Redwood City. We had a bit of communication issue at first, but it’s ok, I just showed them photos and they got it right away.
I ordered a mangonada and it was really yummy. It comes with mango ice cream, chamoy sauce, fresh mango on top and a tamarindo stick. Tasted sweet and sour and spicy at the same time but very addictive and super yummy. I really like the ice cream flavor.
However, you gotta wait like 30 mins for the ice cream to melt a bit so you can mix everything together. Kinda long wait but worth it. After mixing, it taste way better and more balanced. Overall I like it, simple place but good treats.“

“To be honest, I was quite skeptical with the ice cream famous enough to be on the shelf in supermarkets like Whole Foods. It is like they become too mainstream and the quality tends to drop. So I am surprised when I got to taste the ice cream in the shop, especially the SF Fog flavor. It is thick (in a good way), creamy, and aromatic like drinking the tea itself! Definitely one of my favorite flavors in the world of ice cream for me!“
