“Went here on a whim since I felt the craving for ice cream. It's been years since the last time I've got Coldstone, so I wasn't really sure what's so special about it. Then I quickly remembered that they basically do one those cold stone tablets to mix the ice cream with the toppings. There were too many choices, so I just (sorta) randomly picked the cookie dough and a few toppings. They also have this to-go containers which is pretty handy if you want to do takeaway (since that's pretty much the only option these days). The person making my ice cream even put the leftover in a small cup so I had a bit extra. Very nice and definitely not complaining.“

Their soft serve is super smooth and milky, and I love the sweetness of the mango matcha (I get it 25% sweet and find it perfectly balanced without being too bitter or sweet)!“

“A friend suggested this place to me yesterday so of course I had to pop in to check it out. I walked in and immediately noticed how clean it was. Not only was the owner there, but he was super friendly and told me and my daughter about how he makes the ice cream himself with the help of his wife. I really don't think I've tried creamier ice cream. Was VERY impressed with everything about this place and will be coming back with family and telling friends to go here as well!“

“I was passing by when I saw this place and thought to try out Kabul sweets. It's a small cozy place to hangout with friends. It was in the evening, so I went and ordered their falooda drink and Kabul ice cream. The place was busy at 10.00 pm and I kinda liked the vibe, with family sitting and chatting while having their favourite sweets. I was surprised for every item they have sizes, small medium large and extra large. So you have so many choices. I ordered medium and hence I got it in a box instead of a glass for falooda. So next time I know I will ask them to give me in a glass instead of a box as it's easy to drink that way. The service was great a very humble person at the counter who took my order and within few minutes I was able to take by order and leave. The ambience is beautifully decorated. I will highly recommend this place for sure.“

“Order the regular brown sugar boba milk tea at 15% sweet with light ice. Even with low sugar it’s still sweet enough because of the boba. Very consistent and rarely made wrong.

I got the fried octopus and it’s always so good. I prefer the legs over the rings. Rarely too chew or overly crispy. Usually my go to unless my kids are with me then I get the fried tofu which is also great!“

“We stopped into Allstar Burgers for the first time over the weekend. Thus us an older no frills building, but it seemed to be very well kept up. You order at the counter which the you man who took our order was very tentative and friendly. We sat at our table and the food was brought to us when ready. The Burgers we ordered were quite delicious. In our short time there we could see this was a very popular burger joint and it's easy to see why. The menu is no frills but everything you would expect at any local burger joint. We will be back.“

“I saw a worker from another place come back from break holding a churro. I had to ask where, this shop was two doors down. First I ordered the churro and then I saw the fun ice cream varieties. Settled on a refreshing soursop, it had seeds! My friend got a dried fruit and he said that grew on him. There are many other flavors to try next time. Service was nice, there are a couple of tables to sit and eat other snacks that they make as well. PS the churros were OK, crispy and sweet but the middle was not as crispy as fresh out of a fry vat in Mexico.“

“Very crafty, tasty, delicious boba drinks at a conventient Hayward plaza that has Cane's In N Out, Sprouts, Chipotle, etc...

The staff is very friendly and attentive. We were greeted right away and the cashier helped us order by answering all of our questions in detail. In the end I got a very delicious Dalgona Milk Tea Brulee with boba. I'll be coming back soon to try out more of their unique creations“

“The ice cream is amazing. The texture is difficult to describe but it is soft and creamy. I got the Oreo flavor and I made the mistake of only getting one scoop. But I will be back.

I also tried my cousins ice cream and she got one scoop of corn and one scoop of cheese, hear me out and give it a try if you're feeling adventurous. It may not be typical ice cream flavors but they were amazing!!

They do not do free taste samples though unfortunately, but I can understand. Some people just take advantage of free samples/tastings and they are located in a busy intersection that is very close to a high school so imagine if they had to give free samples to every single person... They should at least look into charging for samples because I want to try some flavors without committing to a whole scoop. I would definitely pay for like a little sample platter for sure.“

For example they took care of me on Saturday when I needed a cake for my son's birthday party on Sunday without any complaints even though I was the one asking late. At the Santa Cruze Ave location in Menlo Park I was told that all I could so was choose from what was in the display fridge. Props to Carlos at the EPA location who even gave me his personal cell to make sure everything was seamless! And the cake was super yummy as well!!!“

It was the next day like 3 or 4 in the afternoon so I went into the store and one of the employees remembered from the day before about somebody didn't come pick up there order. They have a wide variety of local fruits, including guava, chickpeas, and others, which I particularly enjoyed pan-frying and experimenting with different flavors. My favorites were tender coconut, chickpeas, guava, and fig with walnuts. We also shared a sundae with one scoop each, as it was too heavy for one person.

I tried their paan flavor, which was too strong for me, and their mango flavor, which felt a bit artificial. The ambiance of the shop was a bit off, and I hope they can maintain it well. He helped us with the purchase of an ice cream cake and went above and beyond providing outstanding customer service! Paul offered us the option of having the cake personalized. We didn’t know that was even possible since it was a smaller size cake. Not only was he able to write Happy Birthday, he even added a name. Astonishingly this young man had beautiful penmanship, AND wrote everything in cursive, SO IMPRESSIVE!!! Thank you, Paul! “I've never tried Yomie's other locations in Sydney and elsewhere, but I was curious about their concoction after reading reviews and drove over on a Monday around dinnertime. It shares its space with Full House Cafe, between Bank of America and H&R Block. There was absolutely no wait at all, and my drink came out in under 5 minutes. Although the prices are a little high, I personally enjoyed my original purple rice yogurt drink ($6.15, w/o tax). I tried to ask for it at 50% sweetness, based off other reviewers' opinions that the yogurt was too sweet, but the staff said it wasn't possible for this particular drink.That said, I thought the tang of the yogurt does come through (it reminds me of Yakult, but nicely thicker), and found the purple rice pleasantly toothsome and not too overcooked, as others have stated. For what it's worth, my husband isn't so much a fan of purple rice, and did not like this drink (haha). Honestly, I'm not sure the combination was a match made in heaven, as I was very aware of the yogurt flavor and texture, separate from the rice texture... but I enjoyed the snack overall! May at some point come back to try their other flavors, perhaps if there's ever a promotion...“
