Loard's Ice Cream began in 1950 in the 'dro. Their factory is located here. 1st tasted their ice cream in Alameda decades ago. It's been years since i licked a Loard's ice cream. Minimal decor. Service quick and cordial by Asian adult. Got a sample. A few tables inside for sitdown. Small parking lot. Best homemade ice cream in town! Service is so great! Their scooped are extremely generous and speaks volumes why the line is always out the door! Must try if you're not already a local

Post lunch milk shake! Clancy's is closed on Wednesdays, and I wasn't going to be denied! We swung over to Loards and got our fix. The shop is in front of their production facility. There's a small parking lot and plenty of street parking. Not sure what happens at night though. We were greeted from the back room as we entered.
