“I often visit this spot as a sweet treat after a long day and it’s the best feeling. Their froyo has a really strong yogurt taste, and I recommend adding the baklava and honey for sweetness and depth. Their baklava is good by itself too. Servers ate very nice and polite. Highly recommend!“

“Among all of us we had the Rose, Kulfi, vanilla, strawberry, chocolate, and also the puppy icecream. All the flavors were really nice and you could see real vanilla bean powder, nuts in the different flavors. Pepper did not stop licking till her icecream was done and then was looking for more. The people behind the counter were very friendly and kind to our chaos. We will definitely be going back.“

“Nice, nice, NICE people and great food. I was wandering around downtown Redwood City and decided to give it a try. I ordered a sandwich (The Redwood) which was generous without being so stupidly large you can't finish it. It was great, fresh and full of flavor. This place is a gem.“

Do need to arrive early at times as it can get crowded. At those rimes parking can be an issue.

“I saw a worker from another place come back from break holding a churro. I had to ask where, this shop was two doors down. First I ordered the churro and then I saw the fun ice cream varieties. Settled on a refreshing soursop, it had seeds! My friend got a dried fruit and he said that grew on him. There are many other flavors to try next time. Service was nice, there are a couple of tables to sit and eat other snacks that they make as well. PS the churros were OK, crispy and sweet but the middle was not as crispy as fresh out of a fry vat in Mexico.“

“I have some feedback about the operation: I purchased my gelato through Classpass and went to the shop, only to find the staff was busing loading their catering cart across the street. I had to stand in front of the shop and wait like 20+ minutes without help. Wonder if such thing could be avoided in the future… don’t get me wrong, I love this place, which is why I spent time writing this review to let the owner know where to improve :)“

“The staff here is always friendly and helpful. They always find a way to accommodate a request even if it is last minute. For example they took care of me on Saturday when I needed a cake for my son's birthday party on Sunday without any complaints even though I was the one asking late. At the Santa Cruze Ave location in Menlo Park I was told that all I could so was choose from what was in the display fridge. Props to Carlos at the EPA location who even gave me his personal cell to make sure everything was seamless! And the cake was super yummy as well!!!“

“She is now located in front of Tere’s Boutique near the Chavez Supermarket by Middlefield Road.I love her raspados so much! I used to get them after church growing up. Her recipes are delicious and traditional. My favorite one is the raspado de Guanábana (soursop). It’s perfectly sweet and the pieces of fruit are delicious. I have also tried and liked her limon, rompope, vainilla, coco, nuez, mango con chile and chicle flavors.I recommend also trying their tostilocos with everything plus extra hot sauce. They are super delicious and a very generous size. Her fruit cups are also really good. The fruit is always perfectly ripe and fresh.Definitely recommend when you’re in Redwood City. All her antojitos are delicious, fresh and never overpriced. Great value, taste and quality.“

It came generously topped with rich, creamy ice cream and allowed us to choose from an assortment of toppings that made it even more enjoyable. The portion size was impressively large, easily big enough for the three of us to share comfortably, and it felt like a fun and satisfying treat to enjoy together. While we waited about ten minutes before it was ready, the time passed quickly, and the clean and well-maintained restrooms added to the positive experience. “This is the first South Indian (and also has vegan North Indian dishes) that we have found in the Bay Area with so many vegan choices clearly marked in the menu. We had mainly South Indian dishes and they were all very tasty. It also has unusual dishes like millet dosa, Madur vada and regional specialties which were all very good. We tried coconut milk dessert and were pleasantly surprised how good it was with copra pieces in it and other dried fruits. Also got a take out of other vegan desserts since not easy to find vegan desserts in an Indian restaurant! We will go there again if we are close by. We live about an hour away so not easy to go often. But I would highly recommend for others to try when looking for vegan Indian restaurant with many choices and very good ones too!“

“I ordered through DoorDash and both things I ordered were really good and filling. The elote I feel isnt worth the cost of the size. I can pay less and get it from a street vendor. It satisfied my craving and tasted great though but wont order it again from here.

The Churrito bubble waffle was very good and being so hot outside it cooled be down. I dont think it's worth the cost either though. They give you half a churro and one scoop of ice cream. I can buy a bubble waffle somewhere else and a small pint of ice cream for same price.

So be aware that the food is good but you are better off going to downtown San Jose to La michoacana ice cream parlor. This place is just convenient that’s about it.“
