Shakes and good breakfast
Really enjoyed my sandwich here! It’s a simple place, the ingredients were fresh and tasty. I actually loved that my meal was the perfect size (not too big or small). I’ll definitely come back with my kids for a sandwich and ice cream.
Family-owned Palo Alto institution since 1923, and it shows in the best way — red-and-white checkerboard everything, zero reinvention, no deconstructed anything.
My two-year-old and I split a chocolate shake and a breakfast sandwich and still walked out defeated. In a good way. The shake comes in a plain paper cup, no ceremony, handed over like it's nothing. Reader, it is not nothing. That thing was fire.
