The ice cream is fine, but there are better options nearby.
To be honest, I was quite skeptical with the ice cream famous enough to be on the shelf in supermarkets like Whole Foods. It is like they become too mainstream and the quality tends to drop. So I am surprised when I got to taste the ice cream in the shop, especially the SF Fog flavor. It is thick (in a good way), creamy, and aromatic like drinking the tea itself! Definitely one of my favorite flavors in the world of ice cream for me!
Joked that the store might be closing when we arrived and ended up catching the employee right before they went on break. Very delicious, creamy, dessert. Ordered the Black Sesame with the Breakfast Buffet, and they paired each other beautifully.

Humphry Slocombe Redwood City offers a unique and delightful ice cream experience. While the long lines and a single staff member managing the weekend crowd can result in a bit of a wait, the delicious reward at the end makes it a worthwhile 4-star experience. Customers can enjoy the opportunity to try different flavors before making their selection, and the ice cream is available in various sizes to cater to individual preferences. The Cornflake Crunch flavor is a particularly noteworthy creation, with its symphony of creamy sweetness and satisfying crunch. Despite the lack of designated seating, the ice cream can be enjoyed while strolling through Redwood City's downtown. The fantastic ice cream with its strange yet fun names is the main draw for this establishment.
The location is super convenient, and the place is open until very late. Customers can find a variety of interesting flavors that are often switched up. The service is friendly, and the staff is patient, even with large parties. The ice cream parlor has a lot of personality, and the fresh waffle cones create a delightful aroma. Compared to typical ice cream chains, this place offers a unique selection of flavors, making it a great destination for dessert after dinner in downtown Redwood City.
