“Came in with my friend while visiting the area and I enjoyed the experience from the time I called ahead to ask a question until we were leaving out and satisfied. When we came in there was an amazing aroma from the fresh baked goods and the owner was so sweet and warm ❤️. I got a bowl and being someone that tries to avoid added sugar and processed foods, I was well accommodated. There was also scripture cards on one of the tables that I absolutely loved! Overall I would definitely recommend and I would definitely come back if I'm ever in the area again.“

“My local sibling brought me here for breakfast after a hiking trip. The Brisket Hash and sourdough toast hit the spot! The hot sauces completed a perfect package. My wife didn't speak while there were still Loc Benedict on her plate, and our coffee cups never emptied. Staff were genuinely friendly and excited to tell us about other restaurants in the city to try while visiting. Portions were hearty, and I would have happily paid more for the experience. This is a must-return spot for me!“
“My wife and I really enjoyed our dinner at Acova. The menu is very interesting and varied. My wife had fish and chips and I chose the beef short ribs. Both dishes were super. Our server was helpful and attentive. We appreciate the fairly low noise level so we could have a comfortable conversation. Thank you.“

“Favorite Portuguese egg tarts in the city and cheapest. Come here if you want to taste authentic flavors. This one nails it though it is very unassuming and hole in the wall feel bakery. They often sell out so I recommend coming in the mornings. Other people frequently order 5 or more at a time so they run out. If you see a line of old chinese people ordering, you know it is good.“

“This was super tasty and quick. The total was $20 with a 20% tip which skme people may not add with it not being a real service. I tried the OG burrito with Agua fresca which were both really solid. The women running the front of house were super cordial and crushing a long line of orders. The interior was authentic and cozy. I was recommended this place by my family in California.“

“My favorite new neighborhood cafe. Great atmosphere and excellent middle eastern treats and drinks. Love the quiet middle eastern music playing in the background. Also, they are open until 10 PM! That is so rare to find a cafe open in the evening. Highly recommend for a quiet bite and good wifi.“

“Love this place!! Randomly chose this place (good gôogle reviews and in the neighborhood) to meet a friend for a hot drink. Was a little noshy, Got tempted by the menu and ordered the breakfast burrito, friend ordered avocado toast. Food was super delicious and garnished nicely. Made friends w the enthusiastic and gregarious staff. Enjoyed everything about this place! all the small touches, the awesome art on the wall and the welcoming comfy atmosphere made it a great first impression. Thanks Chris and "Papa" for some scrumptious food, perfection in a Mexican cocoa, and for making us feel like we came to exactly the right place. 😃😉☺️... I'm definitely gonna try the empanadas next time.!!!!“

“Excellent strawberry and banana crêpes that came with a side of whipped cream. The coffee was alright. Service was competent. They only take cash. The decor was old school, as if we had stepped into an establishment from an earlier era. I was not a huge fan of the atmosphere as the surroundings seemed old and rundown. That said, the place was clean.“

“This place is a gem! Their food is incredibly sophisticated and delightful. The guy running it us really kind and helpful. And there are great outdoor spots nearby to eat. Definitely considering coming here for lunch, breakfast or a smoothie! (By the way, they are NOT located in an office complex. It's a really nice community center, with a cool garden/playground.)“

“Lovely place, it was my first time and seems like they have a good stream of locals. Folks at the counter were very friendly. I was able to sit inside and enjoy a breakfast burrito. Didn't ask them about Wi-Fi (the network is not open but I think may be available) but the seating was suitable for taking a quick meeting with some good headphones that filter light music noise. Would go back for the friendly staff and tasty burrito!“

“I’ve been coming here for years.
Loved the original owners they had a flair for flavor.
The people after the originals were missing something.
The current owners have found the secret in my opinion. In addition to the original vast menu they have added a deep fat fryer so they have French fries now.
My go to breakfast is Fries, two over medium eggs on top and four slices of bacon NOT crispy. And a coffee occasionally. ( I always say a large order of fries just to be sure to be sure ).
It’s a winner breakfast in my opinion.
They still have the vast bagel, crepe, wrap, selections plus the new ads from a deep fryer.
I highly recommend this place for breakfast or lunch. I’ve never tried dinner here …. Yet.“

“I’m a huge fan of dirty chai lattes and I’m always searching for who has the best. The dirty chai at Antigua is definitely near the top of the list for me. Not too sweet and not too spicy which is the way I like them. Will def be back for the chai. Pastries were also delicious. Haven’t tried the food yet but looks like it would be amazing.“

I had a crunchy chicken parmesean sandwich was different than any other I have ever had, yet oddly enough....it was delicious.
I will gladly return.“

“This is our favourite breakfast place in San Francisco, we go almost every weekend! The staff are so friendly and the food is wonderful - we are slowly but surely trying everything on the menu and have loved everything we have tried so far (which seems impossible but it’s true!). Our favourites are the bacon/broccoli omelette/scramble (with best potatoes ever), breakfast burrito, chilaquiles and the pancakes (the best in the city!!).“

“My boyfriend and I stopped by after being at the beach and it was so delicious! I got the tonkotsu and he got the miso ramen. It was phenomenal. We have only one at our home city in Indiana and this blew it out of the water! The waitress was super sweet and the vibes were nice. I cannot stress enough how tasty the food was!“

“Little Aloha nails it on Hawaiian flavour — the garlic shrimp is incredible, buttery, and loaded with garlicky goodness. The furikake chicken and spam musubi are also top-notch comfort bites that hit all the right notes. Just know it’s takeout-only and the service isn’t exactly warm, but the food more than makes up for it.“

“Good for a quick bite. I like the local feel of the place but it can get very crowded, especially on the weekends so I'm glad for the outdoor tables. I like to stop by when I'm going to hang out near Ocean Beach. The food is tasty!“

“I was around this area for the first time since I was visiting UCSF Pride Hall.
It was around lunch time and I wanted to grab some coffee and Luna’s appeared on the search.
I read on the Google reviews that their chicken teriyaki sandwich was excellent so I made up my mind to see what was the hub bub.
I enter the little cafe and I see it’s small but also quaint with its diner design. I meet one of the owners Khalil and he impressed me with his patience and hospitality.
I ordered the chicken teriyaki sandwich meal with a coffee for a drink.
The coffee was ok. Wasn’t coffee connoisseur levels of excellence but it got my cravings out of the way and it was nice to get oatmilk with it as a complimentary addition.
The fries were EXCELLENT with their flavor and crunch. The texture was crispy on the outside and light and fluffy on the inside. The amount of oil used was just right to give the fries more flavor and not a greasy texture. The addition of salt and pepper added flavor to the fries.
Now for the big moment—chicken teriyaki sandwich. I got it with every complementary sandwich topping Luna’s offers and on a Dutch crunch bread. 1) I like Dutch crunch so I already had a good feeling about it. 2) I would have never guessed the toppings on the sandwich would work so well together with the chicken teriyaki. You either would be tasting the flavors of the toppings or you’d get a nice light chicken teriyaki flavor. Bonus is if you’re into that charred burnt grill end flavor (I am), you will pick up some of those notes.
I left Luna’s that day feeling energized before my walk to work and if I find myself in the area hungry, I’ll be sure to stop by again. Not to mention, it was pretty heartwarming to see regulars in the neighborhood come and go in and out of the cafe. Just shows me that Luna’s has made itself a valuable place in the neighborhood.“

“After seeing Ivonnie S.' popcorn chicken photos, I needed to come to Foam Tea House. Their popcorn chicken bento box w/milk tea $16 was indeed good. I liked how there's basil in the popcorn chicken and came with a little thing of spicy Taiwanese powder. The egg rolls were the Costco type, not that there's anything wrong with that. For Taiwanese bentos, I would have preferred a traditional pickled egg or vegetables instead. Food came out quick. Good job Foam Tea House staff member and thank you Ivonnie for always posting useful content.
Background: This location used to be a bakery for a long time. Rolling Out Bakery used to have some good croissants, egg tarts and kouign amanns. The nerd card store Versus Games is still here. The card shop was packed full of people playing card games like Pokemon or Magic taking up all the parking.“

“I have been here many times mainly when I am craving for a doughnut or when I am in the area where I am in need of a quick bite. They have a wide selection of fresh doughnuts made daily, sandwiches, coffee, refrigerated drinks and much more. The staffs here are very welcoming, well trained and understanding where I never had encountered an issue during any of my visits. You can dine in at one of their tables or simply purchase for takeout if you decide to. I have to say this place is a plus, because there are little to none doughnut shops within the area. I highly recommend this place to all doughnut enthusiasts, if you need a quick snack for the morning of if you just so happen to be in the area. I definitely will be back to tryout the other delicious options they have to offer.“

“Leila, the owner, was one of the nicest people I met in Mission. Not only her, but the people were so inviting. I can't recommend this enough for anyone who wants a lively night during the weekends, or a fun, calm, musical night for the weeknight evenings to destress and get your mind off things. The artwork is incredible, all hand made, by a local sculpturer and painter. You can stare at the walls for hours if you wanted to. There's games and sometimes even a movie playing! Lastly, if you're a fan of Sangria - I promise you, this will be the best Sangria you've tasted in San Francisco!“

“Absolutely love Spruce Cafe. If you want quality artisanal coffee made with care, this is the place. If you want quick burnt milk coffee, go to Starbucks.
The team here is honestly what makes it special — Amy, Julia, Caitlin, Noah, Andrea, Isa, and Alex always create such a welcoming environment. They remember my dog’s name and always offer him a treat, which says so much about the kind of experience they create for their customers.
You can tell they genuinely care about the coffee, the atmosphere, and the people coming through the door. Great drinks, warm staff, and consistently good vibes every time I come in.“
