“In a sea of personal choice disappointments in one measured area or another arrive Trish and Becca, two lovely women inhabiting a cafe just off Palmetto Ave serving ambrosial fare in such an aesthetically pleasing atmosphere, including their company, I didn't want to leave. Prior to a recent visit, I had not tried an acai bowl. What a pleasant surprise! I could not stop thanking Becca for allowing me to try her version of same and would like to say thank you for the conversation and ambiance. Excellent music choices. Simply wonderful.“

“Came in with my friend while visiting the area and I enjoyed the experience from the time I called ahead to ask a question until we were leaving out and satisfied. When we came in there was an amazing aroma from the fresh baked goods and the owner was so sweet and warm ❤️. I got a bowl and being someone that tries to avoid added sugar and processed foods, I was well accommodated. There was also scripture cards on one of the tables that I absolutely loved! Overall I would definitely recommend and I would definitely come back if I'm ever in the area again.“

“My local sibling brought me here for breakfast after a hiking trip. The Brisket Hash and sourdough toast hit the spot! The hot sauces completed a perfect package. My wife didn't speak while there were still Loc Benedict on her plate, and our coffee cups never emptied. Staff were genuinely friendly and excited to tell us about other restaurants in the city to try while visiting. Portions were hearty, and I would have happily paid more for the experience. This is a must-return spot for me!“

“My wife and I really enjoyed our dinner at Acova. The menu is very interesting and varied. My wife had fish and chips and I chose the beef short ribs. Both dishes were super. Our server was helpful and attentive. We appreciate the fairly low noise level so we could have a comfortable conversation. Thank you.“

“This HK / Macau bakery is a shining star amongst the plentiful Chinese bakeries sprinkled all over San Francisco. Its fair to say their portuguese egg tarts (po tats) are internationally known, and arguably the best in the Bay Area. A sleeper baked good is their curry beef bao - that's my go to for a quick bite in the early AM.

My other favorite are their whole cakes - specifically their mixed fruit cakes. Hot take - asian cakes are better than western cakes as the frosting is less sweet, and the cake is more spongy. Their cakes save me a short drive to Sunset Bakery (another staple Chinese bakery on the western side of SF).

The other items on their menu are fine - but these are the three that really stand out. The ladies are great, the place is a literal hole in the wall, and I always feel lucky when there's less than 1/2 dozen people waiting to be helped.

If you need a drink to go with your baked goods, their HK milk tea is pretty darn good too.“

“One of the most flavorful and delicious burritos we’ve ever had. We are vegetarian and tried the “el sancho” and subbed chorizo and the soyrizo. The combination with the salsas was amazing. Highly recommend this place“

“Man, I’ve been addicted to this pistachio latte since my first sip. The first one I had was iced with the sweet foam on top next level. The second time I got it hot, and somehow it was just as good. Seriously, you can’t go wrong either way.

You guys have to check this place out. The best part is you’re supporting a local business, and the owner is an awesome dude who’s almost always there. It’s clear he genuinely cares about the shop and his customers.

“Love this place!! Randomly chose this place (good gôogle reviews and in the neighborhood) to meet a friend for a hot drink. Was a little noshy, Got tempted by the menu and ordered the breakfast burrito, friend ordered avocado toast. Food was super delicious and garnished nicely. Made friends w the enthusiastic and gregarious staff. Enjoyed everything about this place! all the small touches, the awesome art on the wall and the welcoming comfy atmosphere made it a great first impression. Thanks Chris and "Papa" for some scrumptious food, perfection in a Mexican cocoa, and for making us feel like we came to exactly the right place. 😃😉☺️... “had one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time at High Grounds Coffee House in Glen Park. I had the best omelette of my life here, made with spinach, olives, and mushrooms. I never would have thought to add olives to an omelette, but it added such an amazing depth of flavor. It came with a generous side of roasted potatoes, greens, and toast, and every component was cooked perfectly.

I also tried the chai, which was unique and genuinely delicious, not your typical cafe chai. On top of the incredible food, the owner/chef was incredibly kind and welcoming. You can tell they really care about what they’re putting out. Can’t recommend this place enough, already planning my next visit!“

“so my wife and I were craving some ramen for lunch in San Francisco. I came upon this random spot on Google, read the reviews & skimmed the menu. looked pretty damn good based on our personal ramen preferences. my wife ordered the black garlic oil ramen. I ordered the spicy tonkatsu ramen. we both are very picky with our ramen - we like our broth rich, salty, creamy & flavorful. and let me tell you, coming from the east coast / NJ / NYC (we have great ramen spots there) - AFTER HOURS RAMEN TOTALLY DELIVERED 200%. I could not stress enough to my wife how satisfied I was with our meal today. oh & they had some nice 2000s hip hop/pop/r&b music playing during our lunch. loved it.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED if you're in the SF area. located couple blocks from ocean beach so you can walk off your food.

AFTER HOURS RAMEN, thank you so much for the delicious food & service! this is our go-to now! see you soon!

“This is a great place to enjoy breakfast. I had the corned beef with eggs and coffee. I should have taken a picture, because it was worth seeing. Fresh made, very tender and plenty for meat. The owner, Jimmy (The Weasel) served me with a smile and was great to talk with. His wife choose the decor and such.

“One of my favorites in SF! Food/wine list constantly changing with seasonal offerings. The team delivers excellent and efficient service as well. It's compact but not overly loud. Sitting at the bar next to the open kitchen is a great way to experience Buddy.“

“I’m a huge fan of dirty chai lattes and I’m always searching for who has the best. The dirty chai at Antigua is definitely near the top of the list for me. Not too sweet and not too spicy which is the way I like them. Will def be back for the chai. Pastries were also delicious. Haven’t tried the food yet but looks like it would be amazing.“

“Great food and super friendly staff. We tried avocado toast and mocha. Turned out that they messed up our mocha and gave us a latte. They were extremely busy on a long weekend so I didn’t bother to ask them to fix it. They would have definitely fixed my order but I was okay with a latte too!“

“I flew in to San Francisco from Philadelphia. I stopped into the business Moonlight Cafe located in the Bernal Heights area.
The atmosphere and food were great.
Next time am back in the bay area I plan to make this my to go place. They serve various food and breakfast all day you sure can't go wrong and the prices are reasonable.
The atmosphere is cozy, friendly, and very very clean.

“We stumbled upon this little nook accidentally. It is located in an industrial area and we were very impressed by the food and the service. The space they have created was surprisingly charming. We had coffee, breakfast sandwiches, salad and pastries...all fresh and very tasty!“

“One of the most under rated cafes in San Francisco. Have never been to a cafe that offers the rare combination of incredible donuts, lively and elegant atmosphere, warm and friendly service, coffee with beautiful latte art, and delicious food. On top of all that the even have wine and Spritz? Like seriously the Lo-fi is a hibiscus lime prosecco swirl of goodness.

The creme brulee donut was something that was unforgettable, and left me in a trance. Its crunchy caramelized top gives texture to its fluffy and airy brioche dough. The barista said its a house made vanilla bean custard on the inside which was not too sweet and balanced it perfectly. I also tried the avocado tartine with two poached eggs, which was incredible. The server who was kind enough to speak with me explained it has middle eastern spice “Za’tar” and “Lebne” yogurt. The focaccia bread was so crunchy, warm, and fresh. On top of everything the head chef came and greeted us, seemed very friendly, and asked how we enjoyed our meal.

Ive also previously tried the Dulce de Leche latte and Chocolate cruller on my way to work, which both were fantastic. Will be recommending this spot to all my friends in the future.“

“We enjoyed our time here and the food! We tried the zaatar and cheese manakeesh, the sujuk and cheese, and the muhammara and cheese. The zaatar and sujuk ones were delicious! Docked one star because the muhammara one just tasted like a plain cheese pizza; no indication of any muhammara on that one/it was nothing special. The olives provided on the side of each were very good and we enjoyed the outdoor seating. Overall, would return and looking forward to trying the drinks.“

“Leila, the owner, was one of the nicest people I met in Mission. Not only her, but the people were so inviting. I can't recommend this enough for anyone who wants a lively night during the weekends, or a fun, calm, musical night for the weeknight evenings to destress and get your mind off things. The artwork is incredible, all hand made, by a local sculpturer and painter. You can stare at the walls for hours if you wanted to. There's games and sometimes even a movie playing! Lastly, if you're a fan of Sangria - I promise you, this will be the best Sangria you've tasted in San Francisco!“

“I was around this area for the first time since I was visiting UCSF Pride Hall.

It was around lunch time and I wanted to grab some coffee and Luna’s appeared on the search.

I read on the Google reviews that their chicken teriyaki sandwich was excellent so I made up my mind to see what was the hub bub.

I enter the little cafe and I see it’s small but also quaint with its diner design. I meet one of the owners Khalil and he impressed me with his patience and hospitality.

I ordered the chicken teriyaki sandwich meal with a coffee for a drink.

The coffee was ok. Wasn’t coffee connoisseur levels of excellence but it got my cravings out of the way and it was nice to get oatmilk with it as a complimentary addition.

The fries were EXCELLENT with their flavor and crunch. The texture was crispy on the outside and light and fluffy on the inside. The amount of oil used was just right to give the fries more flavor and not a greasy texture. The addition of salt and pepper added flavor to the fries.

Now for the big moment—chicken teriyaki sandwich. I got it with every complementary sandwich topping Luna’s offers and on a Dutch crunch bread. 1) I like Dutch crunch so I already had a good feeling about it. 2) I would have never guessed the toppings on the sandwich would work so well together with the chicken teriyaki. You either would be tasting the flavors of the toppings or you’d get a nice light chicken teriyaki flavor. Bonus is if you’re into that charred burnt grill end flavor (I am), you will pick up some of those notes.

I left Luna’s that day feeling energized before my walk to work and if I find myself in the area hungry, I’ll be sure to stop by again. Not to mention, it was pretty heartwarming to see regulars in the neighborhood come and go in and out of the cafe. Just shows me that Luna’s has made itself a valuable place in the neighborhood.“

“Choose 100% sweet, it tasted like if I choose 0% sweet, like if it had no flavor at all, I even asked for extra boba to make it a little sweeter and it was just disappointing, I'm not expecting it to taste extra sweet but at least a to have a little flavor. It wasn’t terrible but it was not what I expected.“
