“Stopped by Little Late Bird on a weekday at 11am. It's a comfortable cafe serving Korean staples. The Ube Latte was like tropical Hawaii in a cup with coconut hints. The vegetable Japchae had perfectly chewy noodles and just enough sauce and veggies. The Bulgogi sandwich was amazing: toasted roll, perfectly cooked beef, lettuce, tomato, and spicy pickled jalapeños for contrast. Everything was filling but not heavy. They're also open on weekends 9am-4pm, so it's officially entering our brunch rotation!“

“I’m a huge fan of dirty chai lattes and I’m always searching for who has the best. The dirty chai at Antigua is definitely near the top of the list for me. “To be honest this place can be the best place for me in Palo Alto! As a person who was born and raised in Izmir, Turkey this place is a gem for me. I love the variety of the food, their espresso tastes awesome (better than some other chain stores) and stuff is always so lovely and caring. “She is wonderful to work with. I have used her twice now. Once for a Mickey Mouse Twoodles cake and just recently for a baby shower. We got lemon for the cake and snickerdoodle for the cupcakes and when I tell you everyone loved them both. Her cakes are delicious and she does and amazing job with decorating them you send her a picture of what you want and she will not disappoint.“

“I went into Steve’s Cafe & Catering alone and honestly wasn’t even sure what to order at first. The staff immediately made the experience comfortable by asking thoughtful questions about what I liked and helping guide me toward the Parmesan chicken sandwich — which ended up being incredible.

It was fresh, flavorful, and so good that my girlfriend even ate vegetables she normally doesn’t enjoy. Beyond the food, the atmosphere felt welcoming and supportive, especially as a new customer. You can tell they genuinely care about helping people have a good experience, not just making a sale. Definitely recommend checking this place out.

“The Absolute Best Coffee in the Bay Area!My husband and I are total coffee seekers whenever we travel, and finding Kaizen & Coffee was the absolute highlight of our trip to San Mateo! It might be the smallest coffee shop we’ve ever visited, but it packs a massive punch. The modern black-and-white interior is incredibly clean and inviting, and the baristas are wonderfully friendly and helpful.We stayed for a week and literally came back 5 times—that’s how good it is! We tried three of their signatures: the Black Sesame Latte, Ube Latte, and Miso Caramel Latte. The Black Sesame was our absolute favorite, closely followed by the Miso Caramel. If you love perfectly balanced drinks, trust me: these are exceptionally delicious, never overly sweet, beautifully creamy, and topped with the thickest, perfect foam.The biggest selling point for us? Absolutely zero chemical syrups. They make all of their bases and syrups in-house, which is exactly what we look for in high-quality specialty coffee. We enjoyed the **Garden Omelette** with fresh veggies and Monterey Jack cheese, the flavorful **Veggie Breakfast Burrito** with feta and pico de gallo, and a refreshing **Seasonal Yogurt Parfait**. The **Breakfast Sandwich** with ham, avocado, and aged cheddar on a toasted croissant was a highlight. The friendly and helpful staff made our visit even better. I love the krispy texture outside and then the creaminess of the mixture inside, its just beautiful. And for those who don't like spice, this is the perfect amount of heat.
