Penelope's Coffee and Tea offers a lovely ambiance with great outdoor seating that gets plenty of sunlight. The cafe has a play area for kids nearby, making it convenient for families. Customers praise the WiFi, music, and sweeter coffee options. While some wish for more breakfast menu options, the pastries are a hit. The Samos Coffee is a must-try, especially for those who enjoy coconut, and the bacon Womlette, an omelette cooked in a waffle iron, adds a fun twist to the menu.
The outdoor seating is highly recommended, providing a pleasant view and a nice place to enjoy drinks and light meals. The cafe features a limited variety of baked goods and other sandwiches, along with drinks like coffee, tea, and juices. Customers can comfortably hang out for an hour after finishing their meals.
Penelope's Coffee and Tea is viewed as a cool hangout spot for a light meal or breakfast, making it a great choice for locals and visitors alike. The cafe is run by a Greek family, and the staff is known for being friendly and helpful. Customers can also visit the Sandwich Monkey, another establishment owned by the same owner, for some of the best sandwiches around.
