“We stopped by SweetHoney Dessert to try their Hong Kong-style desserts, and they have a great variety to choose from. There are so many options with grass jelly, sago, coconut milk, fresh fruit, and ice cream, making it easy to find something you'll enjoy.
We tried a few different desserts, and they were all refreshing and not overly sweet, which we appreciated. As Vietnamese, many of the flavors felt familiar since our desserts also use coconut milk, jelly, and similar ingredients.
While everything was good and enjoyable, nothing really stood out as particularly unique or memorable to us. It was a nice dessert spot, but not one that left us craving another visit right away.“

“I'd specifically requested for a booth table and the request didn't happen. They were like 2 available booths and gave them to somebody that didn't reserved for a booth. The food was great (as always) the service today was not as great as before but good job for one of your waiters who recognizes us. “Eating lunch here right now with the family on a weekend. The service is very friendly and speedy. The space is also very clean and open. The place is kind of tucked away in office buildings but there was still a good amount of people here on a weekend. The kids loved the pond area outside to run around and look at the ducks. The food is also very good. Lots of light and heartier options. We got masubis, loco moco and bibimbop bowls along with some drinks. We’ll definitely be back especially since the kids love it here.“

“I’m a huge fan of dirty chai lattes and I’m always searching for who has the best. The dirty chai at Antigua is definitely near the top of the list for me. Not too sweet and not too spicy which is the way I like them. Will def be back for the chai. Pastries were also delicious. Haven’t tried the food yet but looks like it would be amazing.“

“If you’re trying their signature Miso Caramel Latte, may I recommend going with the iced latte option? While the hot latte is still good, the umami-ness of miso and the contrast of the flavors is much more pronounced in the iced latte version.“

“She is wonderful to work with. I have used her twice now. Once for a Mickey Mouse Twoodles cake and just recently for a baby shower. We got lemon for the cake and snickerdoodle for the cupcakes and when I tell you everyone loved them both. Her cakes are delicious and she does and amazing job with decorating them you send her a picture of what you want and she will not disappoint.“

“I stopped by Oklava in Palo Alto for tea and baklava, and it was a wonderful experience. The tea was fresh and flavorful, and the baklava was absolutely delicious—perfectly sweet, fresh, and authentic. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the staff were very friendly. “Great food and super friendly staff. We tried avocado toast and mocha. Turned out that they messed up our mocha and gave us a latte. They were extremely busy on a long weekend so I didn’t bother to ask them to fix it. They would have definitely fixed my order but I was okay with a latte too!“

“Amazing neighborhood cafe. It's cozy, unassuming and well situated in a cute Plaza in midtown Palo Alto. The breakfast items are all delicious and well prepared, they roast their beans in house in a corner of the cafe and you may get lucky to be there while they do it, great aroma and a nice touch.

It’s inside a corporate building, which honestly made the whole thing feel even more unexpected. I grabbed my coffee and sat outside in their sunny courtyard with the fountains, little benches, and umbrellas, and it ended up being such a peaceful part of my morning. A very charming little hidden gem.“

The food is so good that it’s actually pretty hard to find a seat, even if you visit during off-peak hours! That clearly shows how popular and high-quality this place is, but you definitely have to be prepared to wait a bit for an open table. The owner/manager is wonderful and very friendly—we run into her pretty much every single time we stop by, and she always makes the experience feel welcoming. “Came here one morning after passing it the other day. It was not busy as it was when I first passed by it. The service was quick and easy. I ordered the chicken and waffles. Honestly it was a huge portion of food. The chicken was nice and crispy. Seasoned well and the waffle was really good. The gravy was a nice touch and good but I Honestly did not finish it. Everything was so delicious and the coffee was also great. Great atmosphere bomb food and exceptional service. 👌“

“I went into Steve’s Cafe & Catering alone and honestly wasn’t even sure what to order at first. The staff immediately made the experience comfortable by asking thoughtful questions about what I liked and helping guide me toward the Parmesan chicken sandwich — which ended up being incredible.

It was fresh, flavorful, and so good that my girlfriend even ate vegetables she normally doesn’t enjoy. Beyond the food, the atmosphere felt welcoming and supportive, especially as a new customer. You can tell they genuinely care about helping people have a good experience, not just making a sale. Definitely recommend checking this place out.

By the way, the brownies made my girlfriends eyes roll hehehe, I highly recommend Steve's Cafe & Catering“

“Groovy Goose has become our go-to coffee shop. We pick up coffee beans and lattes most weekends, and the quality is always excellent. The shop has a fun, hip vibe, the service is quick, and the staff is genuinely some of the friendliest around.

One thing that really stands out is how well they get to know their regulars. My wife stops by most weekdays, and when it’s not too busy, Alana often has her drink started before she even gets to the register. That kind of personal service is rare these days and says a lot about how much they care about their customers.
