About CoHo

CoHo, also known as CoHo Cafe, is a cozy coffee shop located in the heart of Stanford, specifically in Tresidder Union. The atmosphere is described as comfortable and lively, making it a popular study and socializing spot for students. With enough space to hang out with friends, it offers a welcoming environment. The menu features unique foods and drinks, such as Mexican hot chocolate, mango lassis, and refreshers, along with options like the delicious Butternut Squash Salad and the Ube donut, which is not too sweet and has a great flavor from its toppings.

While some food items have received mixed reviews, with the salmon pasta noted for its large portion and delicious salmon, the BLT sandwich has been mentioned for having overly fried bacon, and some pastries have been called a bit soggy and cold. The coffee has been described as satisfactory, although there have been mentions of the espresso being a bit sour. However, the staff, including Mario, have been helpful in suggesting alternatives like the dirty chai latte. Prices are typical for Palo Alto, around $15 per entree and $3-4 per drink, but some customers feel the prices are not justified for a college cafeteria.

The decor of CoHo is unique and Stanford-themed, featuring hand-drawn pictures of famous Stanford alumni on the walls. The cafe also hosts amazing student music events, like Jazz on Mondays. Overall, CoHo is a great spot for students and passersby looking to study, socialize, or enjoy unique food and drinks in a friendly environment.

Incredibly friendly atmosphere. Perfect for studying and sipping on a warm drink. Staff is friendly and genuine. Food is served in HUGE portions and you can’t beat the price. Have been here countless times!
Best Caesar on Stanford campus? ✅

add chicken and that’s lunch
Lovely on-campus spot for a sweet treat, caffeinated pick-me-up, or quick bite! It's a campus institution for a reason, with their friendly staff, ample seating, and reasonable menu prices. They have plenty of cozy indoor seating (including large tables for big group study sessions, individual tables or counters for more focused self-study sessions or smaller 1:1 catch-ups, and couches for yapping), as well as a good number of outdoor tables for a nice day.
