Columbian food - very authentic, flavorful and hearty.
The 2 fish soft tacos were fresh and delicious. The accompanying green sauce was very tasty: cilantro and avocado. I also got cold brew coffee with almond milk and a guava cake slice. You can order from a panel outside and can pay with Apple Pay. The service is very friendly. You can sit outside or inside, but there are not many tables. 2 inside and 3 outside. You can also take the food to the nearby park and sit on benches in the shade.
We had the Bandeja Paisa. It was so delicious! We also ordered vegetarian which included the vegan burrito, vegan empanadas and plantains. Everything was fantastic. Underrated spot. Will definitely come back. Hidden gem.

Creative Ideas Cafe is an underrated hidden gem offering authentic Colombian food. Everything is fantastic, from the Bandeja Paisa, which is delicious and flavorful with Colombian chorizo, Colombian red beans, chicharronas, and a favorite cheese arepa with green salsa, to the vegetarian options including the vegan burrito, vegan empanadas, and plantains. The empanadas are home made, the arepas are home made, and the sauces are home made. The nacho fries are to die for, and one of the best chicken quesadillas is stuffed with plenty of meat, cheese, and veggies. The Ajiaco, a corn and potato and chicken soup, is very comforting. Everything is made to order, and the menu is a pretty decent size. The atmosphere is amazing, the workers are super sweet and very kind, and the customer service is amazing. The place is very clean and orderly inside, and customers can see into the kitchen. It is a new favorite spot.
