The young proprietor had us sample all three enchilada sauces since we were unsure about which ones to pick. All three were delicious, but the the mole sauce was one of the best I had ever tasted. His grandma’s recipe, he said. Overall, a great experience! Serendipitous!!“

“Authentic Burmese food in the city. I have tried a couple of Burmese restaurants and this place is hands down the closest to what I've tasted in Burma. Hot Burmese tea, beef curry, and biryani just like you would get for a traditional celebratory event in Burma. Go try!“

Great variety of vegan and vegetarian food with offerings outside of what you find at other places. They also have lunch buffet menu! You can tell this is an authentic place and an old SF staple. “Dabao is DaBOMB. Went for dinner there last night. I am visiting from Vancouver and so needed to try tried all of Emily’s signature plates. Each plate was better than the next. Flavorful, fresh and just absolutely delicious. And the spicy condiments were sooo good. This is not your average food court fare. Not only is this the best option at the Metreon, it’s up there with the best options in town. They also cater and you can order through all the delivery apps. Try it and you will not be disappointed.“

“I recently had Jason cook for my 40th birthday backyard/pool party for ~18 adults and he was phenomenal! Not only are his paellas and tapas incredibly tasty, he is also an all around great person. We had the paella Valencia moderna and the vegetarian paella and both were excellent, even better than the paellas I have had in Spain. My friends/family are still raving about his food! The presentation of everything was very impressive and really elevated the already exceptional flavors of all the food. The booking process was also seamless, Jason is an excellent communicator and very easy to work with. I highly recommend Chef Jason and his paella for your next special gathering! I catered an event in my home and the food arrived on time, piping hot, carefully marked for ingredients and allergens and was just so delicious. “Wonderful experience with the Revel meal delivery! The food was DELICIOUS and prepared perfectly. The whole family (including 5 kids) enjoyed it! The menu was creative and I could customize our order - double orders of protein and single orders of vegetables. They provided a touchless delivery with all of the items clearly labeled with ingredients (in case someone in your house is dealing with allergies) and clear instructions on how to finish the preparation. And to top it off, not only was the delivery on time, they texted me with a 20-minute heads up text so I would know exactly when my delivery would be on my door stop. For me, I was grateful for that extra effort so our food didn’t sit out in the sun.“

“This small cafe is on the alley directly across from the hall of justice and has four tables and another dozen seats along a wall. The menu is limited but the food is good and the quantity is large. There’s free water with glass containers you can bring to your seat. We ordered two bulgabi bowls, one a mini and the other the regular. Both had broccoli, chap chai, brown rice and a lot of beef. It came with sauces as well. The food was good and a mini would’ve been enough for both of us. Service was friendly but the beef was a bit tough to chew. The place is large but spartan but clean.“

This was an important event, for 60 people in our home, and, in no small part thanks to Jordan, was stress-free. He also comped us a tasting ahead of time at the restaurant on Fillmore, which enabled us to make a couple of changes. Oh, and did I mention that the food was delicious?“

“YES. Just yes. Arguably the best Salvadoran food in the City. Arguably best brunch if not top 2. Chilaquiles for sure are the best in SF (and I’ve done the tour around town at all the top spots) these ones are perfect, especially once you add the steak. Pupusas are cooked to perfection and that tamale?! That’s something special wrapped in a banana leaf. This is a MUST HIT brunch. Will be back to explore the rest of the menu.

Bonus. Their coffee shop at the corner serves a great cup and the music is on point on the little patio out back.“
