“I tried Salty’s Lavazza coffee for the first time today. The coffee was perfect. The flavor was very smooth, with the right brew strength.
I also tried the avocado toast. The toast was delicious!
The impeccably clean little cafe/sandwich shop is staffed by pleasant, attentive staff.
I noticed a delicious and nutritious looking Cobb salad, and a variety of healthy snack items.
When on Van Ness Ave in SF, go to Salty’s. You will not be disappointed.“

“I went there a few months ago and the flavors have been lingering in my mind. I can never enjoy another sandwich the same way I did with this one. The flavor was amazing but the texture was even better. The perfect crunch of the outside of the bread paired with the soft inside was 10/10. The workers are so kind and you can tell they really care about what they're doing. The inside of the building is really small and a tight fit but it's 100% worth it. Definitely recommend.“

There was enough salad sauce throughout the wrap, it was warmed to a great temperature that didn’t wilt the lettuce and to add, the portion size was extremely generous - I could only manage half and had to save the rest for later. I also loved that all their sandwich options can be purchased any time of the day so you’re not restricted to specific menu items. I don’t know the first names, but I’ve been seeing their faces for years. I rediscovered this place about a year ago. Told my daughter about it. I’ve had many Sandwiches in the neighborhood and around the Bay area because I’m a native , but this is something so special about the sandwich they’ll do anything you want , warm it up , cut it in half that just makes it so perfect. I use light pesto on my sandwich w mayor and…. I like a little vinaigrette, kind of a taste, and I love their pastrami

“This place is so underrated, what a gem in an unassuming place! I had the chicken banh mi and the bread was fresh and had the perfect amount of crunch and the flavors were great. I come from SJ and although I wasn’t say it was the most “authentic” banh mi it was so good and did not feel like a heavy meal. The chicken rice soup had so much umami, would honestly be a treat and I’ll probably crave the cozy comfort of it when I’m sick.

There are a few seats inside and out but seems like a quick pickup and takeout place which works for me! We had the food inside last time though and service was so sweet. They were very attentive even when they were filling orders :)“

“Bruh.. I’m speechless! Born and raised in New Orleans brand new to the Bay I had been looking for a bbq spot that reminded me of home so when I walked into Deli Man I nearly fainted!

The vibe was unbelievable the nostalgia was locked in place and lawd have mercy the food is off the chain.. Absolutely delicious!!! I’m so glad I stopped here and now they’ve got a customer for good!

“I have not been here in person yet, but had ordered here and got it delivered via DoorDash many times. They specialize in Banh-Mi (Vietnamese sandwich), their menu consists of traditional Banh-Mi, Vietnamese snacks, housemade drinks and much more to choose from. Everything is made to order here which is always a plus for me since it is quality over quantity and I never mind the wait since I am a very patient person. The ingredients they use here are fresh, premium and refreshing. I highly recommend this place to all Banh-Mi enthusiasts, if you are in need of a quick bite, to anyone willing to try something new or if you just so happen to be in the area to check them out. “Fantastic deli experience near the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. The retro-style design is super stylish and inviting, and the staff were friendly.
The menu has a strong focus on pork sandwiches but also turkey and beef options. The two sandwiches we tried were absolutely delicious, generously filled with high-quality pastrami and fresh coleslaw, perfectly balanced and full of flavor.
Great selection of drinks and a fun shelf with retro sweets and chocolates. Prices are very reasonable for the quality, and the outdoor seating is a nice bonus.

“I am going to change my review after being called and harassed from the owner who yelled at me. I am so sorry, You see that I belong to this crazy group of people who believe when we order something. It's that something that comes our way. It's my fault for not understanding how it works now. We order, then something comes and we are supposed to like it and only give good reviews but not our actual experience.

So it's more about the social media presence, and not the customer, ah ok. I get it. How silly of me to write my own experience down and give my opinion. Being yelled at on the phone is now dessert, and the pass the buck between the delivery companies is the point at which no one is responsible.

I am gonna continue to be thankful and make great orders and give great reviews. I will have slightly adjusted expectations knowing maybe it will come. I will write those great reviews, 5 stars all the way, yay, Although it won't be the truth, I think this is what the restaurant wants me to do.

“Sandwiches are a happy place. B&B popped up on my IG feed a few months back and I saved the post but lost it. Fast fwd to a coworker bringing a bulgogi Bahn mi to work.
I could have tried it then but I wanted my own full experience and to show support for this creation.

When you first enter you’re welcomed with smiles and a good vibe. I would suggest pre ordering as there has to be a line at times. You’re hit with a menu board and tons of options both sandwiches and drinks.
I chose the Bulgogi Bahn Mi, sandwhich was huge! The beef was so tender and hefty. Guaranteed to fill you up . The pickled veggies were fresh and well flavored. The bread! Soft but has a light crunch.
Washed it all down with a Mango Green Tea Bobba. Not too sweet and also tasted fresh.

“This review is for a takeout/office catering order so I can’t speak to the vibe, but the staff here are so kind and accommodating and the food was great. I have celiac so I was nervous when my office chose a sandwich spot for a catered lunch, but when I called mission picnic they assured me they could make my sandwich on gluten free bread and would follow appropriate procedures to prevent cross contamination. My sandwich came packed in a separate bag apart from the items with gluten and was marked “gluten free” in multiple places. I felt really safe and the sandwich was great!“
