“The sourdough alone is worth coming here. The bread is crispy soft and fresh. If you are a fan of sour dough this is for you, and if you don't know if you are and want to try really good if not the best sourdough ( I hate using the word the best because I'll come across another gem that will blow my mind).

Mac and cheese is made with real cheddar, there's a distinct sharpness that you only get from cheddar.

The sandwich was good, but next time I will have something the complements and celebrates the sourdough, maybe something thing like turkey, avacdo and cheese.

The service is friendly, and fast and music is lively. They could use more fountain drink options but the sourdough is so good I can't hold that against them.“

“We recently ate here during our vacation in Pacifica. I actually heard of the restaurant from a tiktok video. We ordered the steak sandwhich and they were delicious!! The meat was so tender and juicy 🤤. I ordered mine with light onion and mayo and it was just perfect! It was a nice chill spit to grab lunch. I can't wait to be back in the area (I am from PA) and grab a bite again!!“

I don’t know the first names, but I’ve been seeing their faces for years. I rediscovered this place about a year ago. Told my daughter about it. I’ve had many Sandwiches in the neighborhood and around the Bay area because I’m a native , but this is something so special about the sandwich they’ll do anything you want , warm it up , cut it in half that just makes it so perfect. I use light pesto on my sandwich w mayor and…. I like a little vinaigrette, kind of a taste, and I love their pastrami

Everything is made to order here which is always a plus for me since it is quality over quantity and I never mind the wait since I am a very patient person. The ingredients they use here are fresh, premium and refreshing. The person who served me was patient and professional, from our phone conversation all the way to the in-person order.

The place is clean, tidy, the team is great and the service was quick, I barely waited. Fresh ingredients.

I was going through a stressful situation as my flight at San Francisco Airport was disrupted and I had been given hotel and meal vouchers. Roma Deli accepted the meal vouchers without any hassle, which I really appreciated.

I would definitely recommend this place to international travelers staying nearby, or anyone simply looking for a great sandwich. Thank you“

“I am going to change my review after being called and harassed from the owner who yelled at me. I am so sorry, You see that I belong to this crazy group of people who believe when we order something. It's that something that comes our way. It's my fault for not understanding how it works now. We order, then something comes and we are supposed to like it and only give good reviews but not our actual experience.

So it's more about the social media presence, and not the customer, ah ok. I get it. How silly of me to write my own experience down and give my opinion. Being yelled at on the phone is now dessert, and the pass the buck between the delivery companies is the point at which no one is responsible.

I am gonna continue to be thankful and make great orders and give great reviews. I will have slightly adjusted expectations knowing maybe it will come. I will write those great reviews, 5 stars all the way, yay, Although it won't be the truth, I think this is what the restaurant wants me to do.

“Awesome sandwich. I had the Piccolo... ham, turkey, roast beef, with Provolone cheese on a wheat roll. Add avocado! They add a half of avocado to the sandwich. “This review is for a takeout/office catering order so I can’t speak to the vibe, but the staff here are so kind and accommodating and the food was great. I have celiac so I was nervous when my office chose a sandwich spot for a catered lunch, but when I called mission picnic they assured me they could make my sandwich on gluten free bread and would follow appropriate procedures to prevent cross contamination. My sandwich came packed in a separate bag apart from the items with gluten and was marked “gluten free” in multiple places. I felt really safe and the sandwich was great!“

“We ordered the #1 Combination Pork bánh mì and it was really big and delicious. You could clearly taste the Vietnamese ham and cold cuts, and all the ingredients worked so well together.

The Vietnamese drip coffee was very good, and the Thai tea was also delicious without being overly sweet. The ladies there were super friendly and welcoming, which made the place feel warm and comfortable.

The only small downside is that parking can be a little difficult, but it’s definitely worth it. We’ll definitely be coming back many more time“

“This is the place to get a Great Deli Sandwich. They also serve burgers too. They have a great salad bar as well. It's in an industrial park area off of Harbor street, so parking can be tight. I will definitely hit this place up again when I'm in South San Francisco near the airport 😃😃😃“

“I had an employee named Isha assist me with five different sub orders, and she was absolutely amazing. She showed incredible patience throughout the entire process, double-checked every detail of my order, and even gave me time to call my employees to confirm what types of cheeses they wanted.

The food was extremely fresh, and all of the ingredients looked great. Normally, the avocado at some locations has started turning a little dark or black, but not here — everything was fresh and well-prepared. Outstanding customer service and quality food. This location definitely stands out!“

This shop got robbed while I was there: some African American teenagers with face covers darted with their sandwiches and drinks without paying for them. It's not the business's fault, but still, doesn't feel good to visit a venue where that happens (the robbers could have been violent and looking to take more than just the food..).“
