Esposto's replaced Specialty's at 701 Gateway. Sandwich for sandwich, amiright? I've had Esposto's before at the Mission Bay location, so happy to find a location right by work. People that work here are super friendly. Sandwiches are somewhat small (for American standards) and therefore are a bit on the pricier side. Tried the portobello burger special. The lady at the counter was super nice, and gave suggestions. Then the owner (chef?) came by with samples. Food was really good, quick, and served hot!Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options. I had a portobello burger, but there was lots to choose from.
