Little Lucca Reviews
Long lines but the sandwich is addicting and worth it
The sandwiches are delicious and well sized. There was a long line for the lunch time crowd but it was a good time and worth the wait.
Great sandwiches but not amazing. The portions are huge here so you will not go hungry. Long lines as well but, the food is worth it. Overall, worth trying for sure. I’m a bit of a sandwich snob being from Chicago, so when I say these are not amazing, I do not mean they are not delish. I’d just probably not go back.

Little Lucca is a beloved institution, cherished by locals and visitors alike. With a rich history spanning decades, this deli serves up classic Italian-style sandwiches with a signature garlic spread that’s a nostalgic treat. Portions are generous, with huge sandwiches that often exceed expectations. Menu highlights include the chipotle bird, a popular favorite, and the Dutch Crunch Bread, which is praised as the best ever. Customers often find the sandwiches flavorful and filling, with some enjoying two meals from one sandwich. Despite the busy atmosphere, the food arrives fresh and tasty, even through delivery. The shop offers a wide variety of hot and cold gourmet sandwiches, with lots of condiments, sauces, and dressings to choose from. The staff is fast and efficient, though there can be a wait of 15-30 minutes during busy times. Call-ahead ordering is recommended. The large free parking lot adds to the convenience, making Little Lucca a charming spot that reminds many of traditional Italian delis of their youth.
