“I had lunch at Roma Deli and ordered a chicken sandwich that was delicious.

The person who served me was patient and professional, from our phone conversation all the way to the in-person order.

The place is clean, tidy, the team is great and the service was quick, I barely waited. Fresh ingredients.

I was going through a stressful situation as my flight at San Francisco Airport was disrupted and I had been given hotel and meal vouchers. Roma Deli accepted the meal vouchers without any hassle, which I really appreciated.

I would definitely recommend this place to international travelers staying nearby, or anyone simply looking for a great sandwich. Thank you“

I don’t know the first names, but I’ve been seeing their faces for years. I rediscovered this place about a year ago. Told my daughter about it. I’ve had many Sandwiches in the neighborhood and around the Bay area because I’m a native , but this is something so special about the sandwich they’ll do anything you want , warm it up , cut it in half that just makes it so perfect. I use light pesto on my sandwich w mayor and…. I like a little vinaigrette, kind of a taste, and I love their pastrami

“4-grain loaf was fresh, hearty, sourdough-y, and flavorful. Cinnamon roll was flaky and buttery. Both things I tried felt homemade with care. I’m definitely coming back for the other bread offerings, including the pizzas!“

“I go to Deli Man pretty often and the Killas Que always hits. Roast beef, cheddar, BBQ, and horseradish on any bread is a good combo. They specialize in Banh-Mi (Vietnamese sandwich), their menu consists of traditional Banh-Mi, Vietnamese snacks, housemade drinks and much more to choose from. The ingredients they use here are fresh, premium and refreshing. “I am going to change my review after being called and harassed from the owner who yelled at me. I am so sorry, You see that I belong to this crazy group of people who believe when we order something. It's that something that comes our way. It's my fault for not understanding how it works now. We order, then something comes and we are supposed to like it and only give good reviews but not our actual experience.

So it's more about the social media presence, and not the customer, ah ok. I get it. How silly of me to write my own experience down and give my opinion. Being yelled at on the phone is now dessert, and the pass the buck between the delivery companies is the point at which no one is responsible.

I am gonna continue to be thankful and make great orders and give great reviews. I will have slightly adjusted expectations knowing maybe it will come. I will write those great reviews, 5 stars all the way, yay, Although it won't be the truth, I think this is what the restaurant wants me to do.

“Sandwiches are a happy place. B&B popped up on my IG feed a few months back and I saved the post but lost it. Fast fwd to a coworker bringing a bulgogi Bahn mi to work.
I could have tried it then but I wanted my own full experience and to show support for this creation.
You ever had a Bahn Mi as big as a deli sandwich? You ever wanted bulgogi on your Bahn Mi?
When you first enter you’re welcomed with smiles and a good vibe. I would suggest pre ordering as there has to be a line at times. You’re hit with a menu board and tons of options both sandwiches and drinks.
I chose the Bulgogi Bahn Mi, sandwhich was huge! The beef was so tender and hefty. Guaranteed to fill you up . The pickled veggies were fresh and well flavored. The bread! Soft but has a light crunch.
Washed it all down with a Mango Green Tea Bobba. Not too sweet and also tasted fresh.

“This review is for a takeout/office catering order so I can’t speak to the vibe, but the staff here are so kind and accommodating and the food was great. I have celiac so I was nervous when my office chose a sandwich spot for a catered lunch, but when I called mission picnic they assured me they could make my sandwich on gluten free bread and would follow appropriate procedures to prevent cross contamination. My sandwich came packed in a separate bag apart from the items with gluten and was marked “gluten free” in multiple places. I felt really safe and the sandwich was great!“

“We ordered the #1 Combination Pork bánh mì and it was really big and delicious. You could clearly taste the Vietnamese ham and cold cuts, and all the ingredients worked so well together.

The Vietnamese drip coffee was very good, and the Thai tea was also delicious without being overly sweet. The ladies there were super friendly and welcoming, which made the place feel warm and comfortable.

The only small downside is that parking can be a little difficult, but it’s definitely worth it. We’ll definitely be coming back many more time“

I also tried their 2 dessert options. They have the bst carrot cake I have ever had! Their chocolate chip cookie tasted very rich. I had their veggie soup which was fresh and delicious. “The sourdough alone is worth coming here. The bread is crispy soft and fresh. If you are a fan of sour dough this is for you, and if you don't know if you are and want to try really good if not the best sourdough ( I hate using the word the best because I'll come across another gem that will blow my mind).

Mac and cheese is made with real cheddar, there's a distinct sharpness that you only get from cheddar.

The sandwich was good, but next time I will have something the complements and celebrates the sourdough, maybe something thing like turkey, avacdo and cheese.

The service is friendly, and fast and music is lively. They could use more fountain drink options but the sourdough is so good I can't hold that against them.“
