“Good sandwiches ! Mom n Pop place, a little more homestyle than the supermarket or chain delis. Real avocado not a spread and they proudly state they roast their turkey for the sandwiches daily. Egg salad is good too. And they have Bruce Cost ginger ale ! Yummm. Very small place with no dining tables. To go only .Vegetarian options: Sandwiches, so you can order many vegetarian sandwich options. Vegan may be very limited.“
“I live in Southern California but needed to provide lunch for 85 people at an event in Northern California. Our previous lunch plans fell through the day before the event. In a panic I called this location and spoke to the manager, Anjam. He was polite and professional and embraced the concept of customer service. I need sandwiches, chips, sodas, cookies, plates and napkins. Not only was he able to accommodate a large order with less than 24 hour notice he made sure one of his employees personally delivered it to ensure nothing went wrong. I can't express how impressed I am with how smoothly everything went and as well as their attention to detail.“
“"Jay's Coffee Teas and Treats" is a small cafe in Alameda's Morton Station. They offer coffee, teas, sandwiches and bakery items. It's a very neatly organized place, with small tables inside. I was there thirty minutes before closing, and the lady made an effort to fill orders. I ordered a large coffee. They were sold out, so she made the coffee fresh for me. The other customer asked for a sandwich, and they made it "on order" in the kitchen. This extra effort and friendly service will earn them my repeat business. “Old school liquor store mart and deli vibes. Some nice table and chairs in the front. I got the heated sandwich that has hot pastrami and Turkey. This sandwich was beyond what I was expecting. Melty, spicy, mushrooms and peppers…so good. Got it with a toasted sourdough bun. For a little under $10 you can’t find anything like this anymore. Will be back!“
“My husband and I stopped for lunch on a bike ride that passed through the the area. It’s a hidden lunch gem in a office space, but we’re glad we found it. We went halfsies on the Sicilian chicken sandwich and the falafel wrap. Both were delicious, but the falafel wrap was the real standout. I’d go out of my way to come back for another one of those.Good service, nice staff, great outdoor seating on a sunny day.“
“Absolutely outstanding across the board. Staff are amazingly family and helpful. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. My favorite is their cheese quesadilla with their guacamole because they block them only is the best I've ever had“
