“I’m touring a condo in Oakland for a client making an offer and I stop for a quick bite at a tiny sandwich place next to the Grand Lake Theater. OMG, Unbelievable sandwiches, smoked meats, homemade pickles, peppers🫑 and memorable pulled pork, etc. I hang out for a few minutes while Jerry makes my Cuban sandwich, and he has me try their smoked bacon, homemade meatballs, and more. Jerry’s the best and I love this place. Can’t wait to tell my client about it!! “Seriously, this place is a true find from the sandwich heavens.
They take such meticulous care with every sandwich, and everyone there is genuinely caring. I’ve already gone off the freeway twice just to come back and eat there again, and each time it’s been just as wonderful.
I had the Rib Roast the first time, man what a sandwich, good amount of meat that you can taste the flavor, tomato, layered on the entire bread kept it so moiost delicious. Then the Italian, swapping the salami for mortadella (a perfect switch). The sandwich is perfectly moist, tastey, full of flavor, loved it.
Oh, the lettuce, they do an entire side salad with dressing and put it on the sandwich, unreal. I appreciate this place and recommend it to everyone who cares about a great sandwich.“
