“Tried out Mr. Pickle's for the first time today and went with the Mr. Pickle hot sub. Dutch crunch for the roll. Service was prompt and friendly and prices were fairly reasonable. Sub was sizable and healthy serving of the chicken and bacon. Enjoyed the Monterrey Jack cheese a lot and thought the garlic sauce from 'The Works' elevated the sub. Will have to come back and try a cold sub too, solid spot.“

“I was thrilled when I found out that a new Ike's had opened near me, and I couldn't wait to give it a try. As soon as I walked in, I witnessed the front staff handling a difficult situation with grace and respect, which showed me that Ike's values their customers and believes in kindness. Now, let's talk about the sandwiches because that's why you're here. Ike's offers a wide variety of meats including halal chicken, steak, turkey, tuna, and pastrami. They also have a great selection of toppings and bread choices to customize your sandwich. What I love the most is that they already have a menu with different types of sandwiches to choose from. I decided to go with the Pesto Chicken, and it was absolutely delicious. The meat and toppings were fresh, and the portion size was generous enough to easily feed two people. In addition to the sandwiches, they also offer a variety of soft drinks, chips, and cookies. And here's a fun bonus - they even give you a lollipop with your meal, and they had the classic caramel one that made my day. I'm already looking forward to going back and trying more of their menu. Just keep in mind that the restaurant has limited seating and is located in the El Cerrito shopping center, so parking and traffic can be a challenge on busy days. However, I visited on a late Thursday night and had no trouble finding parking.“

“I went to this subway location for lunch yesterday and a young lady by the name of Ranjita help me, she was very polite and patient as I scrambled for enough change to pay for what I need it feeling embarrassed yet relieved that she was patient, professional, and very sweet. The great customer service was really appreciated being that I was having a difficult day thank you Ranjita.“

“Absolutely incredible. This little sandwich shop deserves so much praise. The owner is super chill and nice. It’s very small but has cute outdoor seating. Very European, relax and enjoy kinda vibe. The sandwiches we had where the most amazing sandwiches I’ve ever tasted. Super affordable prices too, which is rare to find in the Bay Area. “Deli Board is a short walk from where I live and we were craving sandwiches so we checked it out. The shop itself is just a storefront, at the moment they don't have seating. We ordered two items, the Carzle Sando and the waffle fries with Mick sauce. The Carzle sando was nothing short of phenomenal. It had different meats, Romanian pastrami and brisket. The provolone cheese melts and compliments the meats really nicely. The waffle fries were also nice and crispy, and paired really nicely with the sauce. My gripe is that it is so pricy, the Carzle is $23. But the thing is that it is so dam good that it really feels worth every penny.“

“Super generous sandwiches, high quality ingredients, very informal atmosphere. For what it is, a small sandwich bar, this place is great! I got the Italian one trip and a grilled sandwich on another trip. Both were yummy and satisfying. The Italian was a bit wet and drippy towards the end tho. People behind the counter are super nice. Seems like the kind of place people go out of their was to visit. You do get too much to eat in a single sitting tho, consider sharing a sandwich or planning on taking some home, as they are super generous!! 4 stars. Yay!!“

“One of the best wine bars in the city! Totally unpretentious, incredibly welcoming, and always a good time. The menu has a few changes regularly and there's ALWAYS a fantastic and varied wine selection. You can tell that every person who works here is passionate and loves what they do, one of the true gems of North Beach.Great spot for a romantic date in the evening, perfect place to chill with friends in the afternoon. Highly recommend the tastings - especially on Wednesdays! If you get a chance to take a class DO IT! You'll learn so much!“
