Gambino's New York Subs is the best in the city according to Old Lady Studebaker. The chicken parm sub is decent with tangy sauce and no ridiculous toppings. The place might be "mobbed up" but it's a good sign of quality. The sandwiches are really good, generous with meat, perfect rare roast beef, lots of shredded lettuce, and good bread. The staff is friendly, making the overall experience enjoyable.
