This place produces a really delicious and colossal sandwich for a fair price. The guy who runs it could not be any nicer. I would recommend you all stop in soon!
Lee has amazing customer service skills and really knows how to make someone feel welcomed ! My wife and I came from Modesto to enjoy the bay weather and celebrate her birthday ( Lee even wished her happy birthday). Our first food stop was there ocean subs and I couldn’t be any happier with our experience . The cilantro lime vinaigrette is to die for!! We will see you very soon Lee!! Thank you soo much for being a great human being.

Ocean Subs produces a really delicious and colossal sandwich for a fair price. The guy who runs it could not be any nicer and has amazing customer service skills, really knowing how to make someone feel welcomed. This little sub shop lives up to the recent hype and entering the top 25 restaurants in SF list. A simple menu with just four options includes the Atomic Sub, the Original Sub, and the cilantro lime vinaigrette is to die for. The sandwiches are wrapped on fresh Dutch crunch bread that leaves the mouth raw it is so crunchy. The ingredients are fresh and high quality. The Tsunami sauce is homemade and is a must. These are the old school subs. The owner is super friendly, always smiling, and helpful. He is from SF and brought his business home. It is lovely to see local people bringing their businesses to the Excelsior. Huge and nice sandwich, big portion of meat, enough to feed two people. Would come back soon.
