“I had originally given them a one star review. Was contacted by Chris the owner with an apology for a reservation they canceled. They asked us for a second chance and we gave it them. They totally made good and we had a very pleasant evening.“

“Solid place. Great price considering it's Hayes Valley (because everything else here is expensive). Great service too, they wanted us to move tables to clear up space so they could move our original table outside, which wasn't a big problem, but they gave us soft serve on the house as an apology for it which was a nice touch.“

“Cacio e Pepe pizza was fantastic. so glad I went out of my comfort zone and tried it. Their pepperoni pizza was also awesome. This is no average pizza restaurant, this is a must place for pizza when in San Francisco! Cannot wait until I can get back and dine there again!! Cannot say enough about the quality of their pizza....“

Cilantro mocktail - 4/5
Lavender lemonade mocktail - 4/5
Swirl caramel/vanilla - 3/5 decent but too sweet to finish in one sitting, best for sharing“

“Best food in the polk street area. Me and my Mother and Sister have been going here 5+ years. Always good, Always great. Salads and Sandwiches both.
Most of the time we want to eat out we choose this place over any of the surrounding ones. I Like the skirt steak, but I've tried most of the menu and its all good. Tater Tots are Above Average so are the Fries“

“Simply excellent bagels perfect texture and flavor. We bought lox and cream cheese to make bagel sandwiches at home and everything was fresh and delicious. The bagels freeze well too - just slice them while fresh, put them in an airtight container, and pop them in the toaster when you’re ready to eat!“

“This is a great little place in the San Francisco Mission Area. Huge sandwiches and salads. Rotisserie Chicken is amazing. A Nice find. Was walking by and said, let’s do this! Meatloaf Panini and Thai noodle salad. Amazing food and service. Thanks so much. Will see you again soon.“

“Amazing food, one of the breakfast in the town! We tried avocado toast with salmon and breakfast croissant, and everything is so delicious.
One note about the place: we prefer to sit outside because the exhaust hood inside doesn't work well and afterwards our clothes smell like food. It would be great if this could be improved in the establishment.“

“Remember that Seinfeld episode when Elaine wants the "big salad"? Many people eating here are too young to know what I'm talking about (especially the Marina loctions). This is that place, where the salad is the main course. Maybe back in 1997 that was $9, here it's $20 something for that you want. But the salad is main-course-sized and excellent.
Don't get the dressing on the side. Let the professionals mix it in, they're better than us.
Post covid, I can't help but feel like the portions are smaller or stingier with the protein (this location was opened after covid but the experience seems the same for other locations).
The sandwiches are very tasty but too small.
Long story short, this place has really tasty food. But it's priced for SF yups that are wearing yoga pants and high heels at the same time. Great food, but almost too trendy. Clearly their marketing works. I'll keep eating here until salad starting price eclipses $20.“

“These breakfast burritos are A DEAL!!!!No where in SF have I gotten such a great meal at Texas prices... In the Bay area!?Loved the breakfast burrito and breakfast bowl. The coffee is delicious and their bar setup is ultra cute.In fact the entire spot is well decorated and clean. We had great sest where we were people watching inside and chatting. It's located very close to all the big tourist sites and so quick. Perfect for on the go meal and very filling.Their hot salsa is... fantastic and. You better ask for two.“

“My special had an interesting combination of flavors that was intriguing but didn't quite work out. That's just my personal taste and the ingredients were clearly declared on the website. Other sandwiches were solid with typical meats and sauces, but nothing memorable.“

“My “Go to” Ramen spot when I’m in the Richmond District. Ive tried almost the entire menu..My favorite is the House Special Tonkatsu Ramen with an extra side of Ramen noodles. There’s usually little to no waiting as it seems that neighborhood customers are very considerate of one another. Service goes a long way for me. The Staff seems to remember what both my daughter and I like to order as the food comes out right away. I think this place is a great addition to the block and a good place to take a friend or a date..the atmosphere is very neutral and you are able to carry on a conversation (even when it’s crowded). If you’re in the Richmond and enjoy Ramen, this place is worth a visit.
Kid-friendliness: They have small bowls and plates for kids…window seating and long bench seating for them to enjoy.“

“Spoke with the owner/employee and asked if I can leave a position review, he said no thank you.
The food was top notch quality and the best price/value in this airport for the terminal it was in.
7 out of 5 stars if I can give it that. BIG THANK YOU!“

“Parking: street parking. The store looks a little old outside.
Prices are about average and the portions are good.
Food: ordered breakfast sandwich, very tasty especially the bread is easy to chew. Personally don't like hard bread crusts. The sandwich has good amount of fillings, which I don't just taste plain bread. Maybe coming back to try one with their special sauce.“
“My boyfriend and I got the Coconut curry chicken and the peri peri chicken bowls. We were pleasantly surprised at how flavorful they actually were. Might be the best healthy option at SFO!
Dietary restrictions: Have many different kinds of bowls. Plenty of options for dairy free and vegan eaters.“

“This was a great find as we were looking to eat dinner at The Bird but it was closed.. Turns out they serve the same food one door over after the restaurant closes, but in a bar instead. The place was great, servers were friendly, and there was enough seating. The music was a bit loud for our taste, but bearable for a short while. It was a bar after all. So glad we found this spot.
Parking: Difficult to find parking in Hayes valley at all times, avoid driving if you can“
“Lee's Deli truly deserves a five-star ratingLee's Deli in downtown SF is a long-standing favorite that continues to impress. The friendly and efficient staff, along with their unbeatable dim sum and sandwiches, make it a must-visit. I recently tried their frozen dim sum, which can be conveniently ordered online and delivered to your doorstep. The quality and flavor were exceptional, and the value was outstanding. With their responsive customer service and commitment to supporting local businesses.“

“I went to enjoy some salad at this MIXT restaurant on Grand Opening day. They were handing out samples of their crispy cauliflower appetizer with an aioli dressing. Yum.
There’s a big menu of salads and sandwiches to choose from.
I ordered the warm curry chicken salad bowl. It was delicious! Freshly prepared by an enthusiastic staff member.
I ate the salad in the restaurant at midday on a Monday when it was not busy.
There is a patio on the Green Street side and a few tables in the front of the place
The opening day was made even better when the cashier mentioned a special code for the day. I got 50% off my bowl. I also got a small bouquet of dried flowers. What a great way to welcome guests!
The space reminds me of Le Boulange bakery when it used to be in this location. On the weekend, it maybe crowded, so go early or get takeaway and go to the Presidio to enjoy the outdoors and a healthy meal!“

“Good restaurant in a great location right by chinatown. A good value for 25 dollars for a cup of soup and a lobster roll. You also got chips and a pickle with it. It was a slow day and not hardly anyone there so not much noise and waitress was pretty attentive. Definitely worth a try if in the area.“

“Love everything this place makes! The NYC bagel, the Porky Breakfast Burrito and the Porky Breakfast Sandwich are all just so good! The Porky versions add Pulled Pork which makes the burritos/sandwiches into meals. The Bagel is a good lighter-option.
However the place is really quite slow and needs more people working there. It was a single person when I was there, and that resulted in longer times.“

“This spot has undergone much change. Yet, every time a new regime comes in the product improves. I was very much a fan of Chacho's predecessor, which I believe may have been called Kanpai. Yet, last night I visited Chacho for the first time, and I walked away happy. I started off w/an appetizer, which was the Seaweed Salad, and I liked the way it was seasoned. My entree was Sake Don, which was well-prepared and savory. My waitress was very attentive and hospitable. I shall return!“

“Delicious, robust and oversized salad (actually a good deal for the price), PLUS the staff couldn’t be nicer, especially front of house.
This is like a mini behind the scenes food hall, where you can order these gorgeous salads, or: soups; mezze dishes etc. It’s a fun and unique spot. So glad to have found this while visiting my hometown!“

“When I ordered, I chose ingredients that I thought were gluten-free. However, when I got to the store, I noticed that what I ordered wasn't marked gluten-free on the menu at the store.
I spoke to the manager, and he was great! They remade my order so that it was gluten-free. The fish was fresh. And, I liked all the options that were available.
Feedback:
- It would be great if the online menu indicated what items are gluten-free. Otherwise, it might just be safer to order at the store.
- Another confusing thing is that I thought I ordered a poke bowl, but realized at the store that I had ordered the burrito. It was probably user error, but maybe it would be helpful to improve the user experience of the app.
Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free“

“I came here on a Friday afternoon and got the pork belly banh mi. It was so good… definitely top 10 sandwiches I’ve ever had. Pork belly was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, bread was nice, and the pickled vegetables were perfect. Owners were also really friendly and only took a couple minutes max to make the sandwich. The space is small, and seating is limited though“

“One of my fav breakfast spots in the Mission! El Mil Amores is a small, cute, and homey restaurant in south Mission near Potrero Hill.
The chilaquiles were incredible. I chose verde for the salsa between verde and rojo. My friend got the CDMX plate and he loved it as well! The concha French toast it came with was fireeee.
Our server was very sweet and was able to answer questions about food allergies. I would definitely go again!
Dietary restrictions: They were comfortable answering questions about tree nut allergies“

“Total hidden gem in SF. It’s low key and does take out only, but don’t let that fool you, this place rivals SF’s finest establishments. I moved in a few blocks down the street and have been ordering take out almost every day as I unpack. I’ve tried the chicken hummus plate, meatball and rice plate, and the Beyran Soup. Literally each dish was 5/5 amazing. The soup was the best soup I’ve ever had in my life. Super rich flavor, but not overly salty. Just right. Honestly these folks should turn into a full fledged restaurant.“

“We have been going to Pizetta for too many years to count now. Always yummy, craveable pizzas and interesting starters - not your ordinary starters. They are ever-changing and highlight whatever was freshest from the farmer's market. Don't forget the desserts which include always-available options as well as specials. They can get busy (because they are just that good) but, we think, it's well worth the wait. Wish they'd open other locations but understand the desire to stay small and true to their roots.“
