From the second we approached the door to enter Local Roots we could feel the positive energy. Very clean very welcoming very nice atmosphere. The menu is amazing and has so many wonderful choices. When talking to Lauren the owner, we were inspired by her vision and passion to provide the best of the best ingredients from all locally grown farms and resources. Local Roots by Opa Cafe is a fantastic spot with incredibly fresh food and a welcoming vibe. The staff is always soooo friendly, polite, and hardworking. They have great breakfast sandwiches, a solid London fog, and fresh made juices. For lunch, the Turkey Club, Chicken Pesto Sandwich, Mediterranean Bowl, and California Curry Bowl are all fresh, flavorful, and super satisfying. They have rotisserie chicken, steak, and salmon cut up right in front of you. The space looks great, and the prices are super reasonable for the amount of food. Customers love the breakfast burritos, iced latte, and the best lemon bar ever. The cafe is open early, perfect for travelers, and offers a great selection of salads, sandwiches, desserts, and chips. It is an awesome spot for lunch, and a go-to is a Caesar salad with chicken. Local Roots is the best healthy lunch spot downtown, run by a great family business.
