“I'm thrilled to share my experience at Ocean Fish, Sushi, and Grill in Pacifica, CA. My family has been a regular here since it opened, and I can confidently say that the food is consistently delicious. The fresh and flavorful sushi and the grilled dishes are always perfectly cooked. But it's not just the food that keeps me coming back. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the service is top-notch. It's clear that everyone who works here knows the customers, and they go above and beyond to ensure their customers are happy. If you're looking for a restaurant with great food and a warm atmosphere, look no further than Ocean Fish, Sushi, and Grill.“
“Came by with a friend and we shared the French dip sandwich and a chicken problano soup. The sandwich was scrumptious! The soup has just the right amount of kick to it (I cannot tolerate too much heat) and so flavorful. The bread stays crunchy on the outside and fluffy inside. Easy parking and real chill atmosphere. Clean bathroom too!“
“Where has this place been? Nobody (well, most places) knows the struggle of wanting both sweet and savory like they do! If you feel the same, you have to stop by and order the CDMX which has chilaquiles with your choice of meat, a concha french toast with strawberries, and eggs with potatoes- all in one plate. The portion is pretty big and can probably feed two people or one very hungry person. The inside has a homey vibe and is also very clean. Service was super friendly and welcoming.“
“New favorite spot. It's really good quality food, super healthy, and at a great price. The place is very clean and modern on the inside. And the drinks were great. Coming back soon.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options. Plenty.“
“Stopped by this place for coffee and was pleasantly surprised. Breakfast bagel sandwiches were amazing and he can make it with whatever you please. I had egg, avocado, and cheese on Asiago and my husband had egg, bacon, cheese, veggies, with slight spice. We loved them both. Coffee was good with lots of variety. Best of all he was very nice and accommodating as we were just visiting from out of town. Highly recommended!“
“I have been grabbing pizza from here from time to time and they never failed to make a great 4-cheese white sauce pizza. Reminds me of what my mom picked up back in North Carolina when I was a kid. Ordered on the phone today and the guy accidentally heard “Portuguese” instead of 4 Cheese. They had both on the menu, I had no idea so I felt bad! Thankfully he did not charge for another pizza and actually upgraded me to a bigger size. He let me try the Portuguese slice too. Great place, food, and service!!“
“Really good bagels, not exactly NYC style, they're their own delicious thing. PRO TIP: preorder from his online shop in the week that leads up to skip the line.Highly recommend the trout rillete when he's doing sandwiches. The proprietor is also just a great guy and writes an amusing/heartfelt weekly newsletter about the tribulations of a baker.“
“Took a flight to San Francisco and was starving. Walked around before deciding on proper Food. Had the chicken pozole and fresh yogurt.I was too brown to speak! the Pozole was actually good and not offensive to my ancestors. The yogurt Greek yogurt was just the way to end this visit to the airport. It’s a must try for me.“
“I got the Rib Eye Pizza. It's very tasty, the jalapeño omg to die for. If you are looking for something new on your pizza toppings, this one is definitely a must to try. The potatoes & mushrooms with garlic and pepper are delicious.“
“Really great pizza with a crispy, chewy crust cooked to perfection (got that "leoparding" as the pizza geeks call it) and a bunch of different pies ranging from traditional NY style to a great looking lamb and sumac topping we'll be back to try. We also had SUCH a great cheesecake for dessert. And, the wine list is well appointed with great notes on every glass and bottle, the espresso coming out with our neighbors' dessert smelled great, and the folks working here were soooo nice and so fast to swing by the table to ask if we needed anything. Cozy and friendly inside, full of cheerful locals - a great place for a Saturday date or a quick meal on a weeknight. Maybe my new #1 favorite pizza place in SF. We'll be back over and over!“
“Delicious pizza! I love their customer service it was so on point like everything I asked I got the nicest people helping answer my questions and this pizza was so good, the salad was so good too. The decorations in here are fun too.It was nice to get some pizza to go also we had a great road trip eating leftovers from here!“
“Had dinner here for the first time with a friend who suggested the place...the reception by the hostess was good, the place was pleasant and had a warm atmosphere. Equally good was the food. The gin and tonic I ordered at the bar tasted more like tonic than gin.“
“Came on a Tuesday night with the family. We're always on the hunt for high quality, good value sushi. Fish is very fresh, rice on rolls and nigiri were perfectly proportional to the fish (not a fan of places that pile on the rice). We took advantage of happy hour and ordered a wide variety to ensure a good sample size. Even ordered a dinner entree, which was excellent. This place made it on our family Approved Restaurant List (ARL), so we will definitely be back for future meals.“
“I ordered Extreme Pizza ? after I got a flyer in the mail with great ? coupons. It was a excellent ? experience the driver was early for delivery ?.... I got my pizza hot and fresh. 2 Large pizzas for a value and great taste. Nothing was a miss,I plan on getting extreme pizza more often now+ ThanksExtreme Pizza!!!!“
“This was our first time there, the staff was really really nice, they got our order correct. They have what I called a"problem menu" the problem is everything on the menu is so good and I want everything, lol. The food was delicious, from the burger to the salad to their delicious fries to the awesome philly cheesesteak. They make their own ranch dressing and it's a jalapeno ranch dressing that is to die for. We will definitely be coming back soon.“
“I have never tried Iranian food, so this was a gamble. Man, am I glad we did. Every dish was amazing. The smoked salmon, sour chicken, and herbed cheese were to die for. Truly, these were flavors I had never tasted and love them. Please try this place.“
“Love their breakfast burritos- ham, chorizo or bacon. Full of flavor and good size. Florentino is a gentleman and kindly makes our food. Love it here.I am told by other patrons their chilaquiles is the best, I just can't get past my fav - ham burrito. Husband loves the one with chorizo.“
“This place is a local treasure. Affordable lunch deals with tasty and unique foods, this is one of my favorite go-to places in the area. The owner is always very kind and I have yet to try something on the menu I didn't like. Not only do they have great pizza, they have noodles and shish kabobs - which are again a personal favorite.“
“One of our favorite Thai restaurants! They have the best Tom Ka Gai soup. The Pad See Ew is super flavorful, we always get the vegetarian option. Yellow curry is great too. They have a nice rice plate lunch special too. Nice atmosphere, good service, and super clean and easy parking.“
“You have your own area of dining separated by glass wall. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Manager Mei ( May ) particularly attentive we like her very much. Even it is a Japanese type BBQ restaurant the kitchen is separated on one side you won't get smelly after eating there. We went there twice just to make sure they are consistent. The only thing I may complain is just the parking sometime it's hard to find parking.“
“Great place to get a quick bite to eat like a sandwich, soup of the day or some pastries. Also a nice place just to take a break and have lunch.Vegetarian options: They serve different kinds of salads.Wheelchair accessibility: Enough room to accommodate.“
“Was walking by and decided to try it. The server could have been a little more friendly. Or helped me decide on what to order. I ordered a combo plate lamb and beef gyros, and it came with rice salad and pita bread.Atmosphere would have been better if there was a screaming child.Other than that, I will recommend.“
“I was recommended to try a Mediterranean restaurant of a very similar name. Did not read carefully and ended up here. Was not disappointed at all. Friendly and quick service. Delicious food, good portions. We tried the dolmas, chicken gyro and lamb and beef gyro. Clean and bright space. Mother gave an A+ for clean bathroom. Worth a save for repeat visit!“
“I went to eat breakfast last time. I really enjoyed it. I recommend anyone to go to eat lunch.Kid-friendliness: They are friendly and helpful to find what you like to eat. And customer service is excellent ?? the restaurant is very clean. I will like to go back to eat lunch and breakfast ?“
“My husband and I ordered Cigarette pastry for starters and Mediterranean combo for main course. It was filling for the two of us. And the service was very good too. We will be visiting again.Parking: We parked in front of the Burlingame High School and walked to the restaurant.“
“This has one of the best mohin gha (catfish chowder) in SF. My mom is Burmese and we use too much fish sauce, but I’ve been trying this dish at all the local Burmese restaurants. Other places strain it or make it pulp free, but this one was mealy and very tasty. It came with the right amount of noodles and toppings. The platha and coconut rice are amazing for being standard sides. Other places sometimes seem like they’re giving you day old food, like the rice is compacted and hard. This fluffy coconut infused rice was made by someone who says there’s no such thing as too much coconut flavor. I’ve only ordered off Postmates and there’s no restaurant to eat at, but they do not give utensils unless you ask. Their boxes don’t have air vents for fried food, but we can’t all be perfect.“
“My first time here, this place wasn't crowded when I went here, but they were getting a ton of door dash orders. The reviews kept talking about the French toast, which was odd to me, but I had to see what the hype was all about. The place was clean and nicely decorated with pictures and paintings. Everything is made fresh to order, so be prepared to wait. We ordered: 1. French Toast: This definitely was true to the hype. It was so fluffy and sweet. It didn't need syrup. 2. Chilaquiles - The chips were crunchy and had a light kick. Like once you start eating, you can't stop. This definitely hit the spot. 3. Chorizo breakfast burrito - So flavorful and meaty. Perfect ratio of chorizo, egg, and beans. I highly recommend this place and can't wait to come back.“
“This place is the best! We took our whole family here after walking the HMB beach path Easter morning. My husband and I have a 3 year old boy, a 10 month old girl as well as a (lazy) bulldog and everyone enjoyed this place! The food was delish--I had the burger with arugula and buttermilk ranch & my hubby had the fried chicken sando-- to both! The drinks were so refreshing, I had the hazy IPA and the hubby had a regular IPA, the hazy was better imo. The ambiance in the dog area exceeded our expectations. They have music playing outside and it's totally a vibe for the whole family. I would highly recommend this place. Just be aware they are closed Monday & Tuesday.“
“Great food at reasonable prices. Slices are big and huge and worth every penny. They make it fresh and made to order as you want it. Very delicious options that you can try from their lunch. Specials are great. Comes with a salad and depending on what slice of pizza you want and a drink, there's other food options there as well you can order from from the menu“
“The fried chicken is cooked well, but the flavor is a bit light. The baked pork chop rice has more rice than toppings, but the taste is good. The milk tea lacks a strong tea flavor and is mediocre. Overall, for afternoon tea, the price, taste, and service are decent. The chicken breasts were fried well, but the taste was bland! Baked pork chop with rice, more rice but less food, but delicious. The milk tea doesn't have enough tea flavor, it feels numb. As for afternoon tea, the price, taste, and service are all of a high standard.“
“I have lived in Brisbane for 3 decades now. When my kids were younger, this was a regular spot for them after school for nachos with everything or for family dinners or occasional weekend breakfast. Since they have grown, I don't go as often, but drop in from time to time. I work long hours, generally getting back to town late, plus my big meal of the day is lunch and I generally don't eat an evening meal. This spot has a lovely atmosphere and Rafael is the nicest/kindest man! As an aside, he is also a wonderful supporter of many of the non-profits in Brisbane, so he is well loved and appreciated by the residents. I stopped in recently and ordered pozole, which I had never had here before. I can vouch for the menudo being great though. To my delight, the pozole was AMAZING!!! The to-go bag was packed with rolled up warm tortillas, a sliced whole lime wrapped in foil and small containers full of chopped up raddish, cabbage, an onion and fresh parsley blend, hot sauce (YUM!) and then chips and fresh salsa/pico de gallo as well. The pozole so knocked my socks off that I went back to get it again, this last Sunday, but he said he had sold out the day before... due to it being a popular order during cold/wet weather. He said he would have some this week, so I stopped in last night and bought two big containers - again, absolutely delicious! I finished a half containter last night and brought the unopened one into work today to share with my coworker, who says pozole is her favorite soup of all time, that her family makes it often as well, and she gave this one high praise and even went back for seconds. I am hoping Rafael keeps this as a regular on his menu as I can see myself ordering this weekly, in bulk, just to have in the fridge for lunch or dinner over a few days. Happy to know easy and friendly access to this deliciousness exists so close to home for me... but it would be worth the drive as well!“
“First time getting pizza here. We got take out, so I don't accually know what the dine-in experience is like. I dont even know what the inside is like, since the husband picked up, but as far as the pizza, for what it is, five stars. And what it is is top notch, comfort food "childhood" pizza - the kind from a pizzeria that was kind of dark inside with wood paneled walls and a few light-up beer signs. Most likely they were for Hamm's and/or Olympia. There were two and four tops along the walls, but the middle of the dining room was for big tables to accommodate the end-of-season pizza parties for little-leaguers and soccer teams. There were also a couple of arcade games and a pinball machine. Some teenager with a muscle shirt was always playing. Pizza was served on those aluminum trays and pitchers of fountain root beer was drunk out of those tall red plastic cups with the pebbley texture on the outside. With the pizza from Monza, the cheese is gooey, the crust is both crunchy and chewy and perfectly cooked with those little crunchy sauce-and-cheese bits at the edge of the crust. It's what you remember from the halcyon days of your youth, but leveled up. Because back then, in the nameless pizza joint from back in the day, the crust was maybe a little like cardboard and the cheese somewhat plastic, but you were happy with all your friends, and full of sugar from the root beer, goofing off and punching each other in the arm. And so the pizza, however mediocre, was like a little slice of heaven for your ten year old self. The pizza from Monza makes you reminisce fondly about those times, but in the here and now you're actually eating good pizza. So we'll be ordering again. This made our gray rainy day.“
“Great food at reasonable prices. Also helps the local community college hospitality students by giving them a chance to practice their skill sets. What a better place to try some creations from what could be San Francisco next best chef before they get noticed. I'd like to see the Fall and Spring Buffets return as well as the annual Wok on the Wild Side Event.“
“Solid AYCE sushi spot! It replaced Ultra Sushi but they have the same (or super similar) menu items as them - so maybe just ownership changes? Either way this is a solid spot for AYCE which is very lacking in the bay area overall compared to socal. The ordering system may seem odd (one star item must accompany non-starred items) but it honestly isn't too difficult and allows you to try other things. Everything tasted fresh and they were attentive.“
“I love this place. They really make great quality food thats delicious. It doesn't look like much from the outside - but it is delicious. The green goddess salad was so fresh and delicious. They give a good sized portion. The breakfast burrito was delicious as well. This place should be way more busy in my opinion. They do a good thing and they are always friendly as well.“
“The pizza here is incredible. The people here are really friendly as well. The pizza is so full of flavor and cooked to perfection every time. My go to is the Margherita and the La Mission special, both of which are amazing. They are super quick as well, I'll go in and grab a slice every time I need a quick bite“
“Focaccia is all about freshness, variety, and convenience for me. During the pandemic, they initially struggled with indoor/outdoor seating, remote ordering and pickup, before settling on pure delivery with four set delivery times at breakfast and lunch. My favorite quick bite to eat is a lox bagel with avocado. I enjoy the variety of both their set menu salads and the ability to create my own. Lots of options as well as seasonal options. If I were to complain about anything, it would be that their chicken tends to be on the dry side, but they seem to be improving on that front as of late.“
“1st time I went, I had seen the price on their online menu. When they rang it up, they upped the price. OK, I told em and accepted they did not set up their website and I learned not to use that pricing.Their Linguine with Clams and pear salad have brought me back a few time. The best Linguine and Clams anywhere.Pacifica is not loaded with good restaurants. Staff is nice, food comes quick and is great for either dine in, or take out.“
