“In a sea of personal choice disappointments in one measured area or another arrive Trish and Becca, two lovely women inhabiting a cafe just off Palmetto Ave serving ambrosial fare in such an aesthetically pleasing atmosphere, including their company, I didn't want to leave. Prior to a recent visit, I had not tried an acai bowl. What a pleasant surprise! I could not stop thanking Becca for allowing me to try her version of same and would like to say thank you for the conversation and ambiance. Excellent music choices. Simply wonderful.“

“We have only done take out orders. We were new to Pacifica during the covid pandemic and discovered this restaurant. Having tried anotherJapanese restaurant which was awful, we were happy with Ocean fish. We order maybe 1-2 month. There was only one time when we were doing a pick up and it was almost closing, that the staff just dropped the food on the table and walked away. Since that time, I haven't noticed any rudeness. Dining space is limited.
I want to note that the chicken teriyaki is not marinated and tastes like regular grilled chicken, but over all the food is good.“

“The sourdough alone is worth coming here. The bread is crispy soft and fresh. If you are a fan of sour dough this is for you, and if you don't know if you are and want to try really good if not the best sourdough ( I hate using the word the best because I'll come across another gem that will blow my mind).

Mac and cheese is made with real cheddar, there's a distinct sharpness that you only get from cheddar.

The sandwich was good, but next time I will have something the complements and celebrates the sourdough, maybe something thing like turkey, avacdo and cheese.

The service is friendly, and fast and music is lively. They could use more fountain drink options but the sourdough is so good I can't hold that against them.“

This is where you need to stop and this is where you need to eat the family the food the everything about this experience was nothing short of wonderful. I live in SoCal so Mexican food is a staple but let me tell you something this was a different experience completely everything is crafted with care and love and you know it I got the poblano spaghetti and omg my mind was blown away. I hope this place stays around for a very long time. This made my entire trip to SF worth it.“

“We wanted to have a special meal to end our arduous few weeks of surgery recovery and I found Chacho when we landed on sushi because of their menu and location. They also seemed to be a little newer and worth a shot.

When picking up I was very warmly greeted by the ladies working there in a cozy and lovely shop and was offered even more soy sauce when I asked if it was in the bag (which there was).

We had a big takeout order of takoyaki, yellowtail Nigiri, a monster roll and some hamachi maki and California rolls. Because of how much we ordered there site offered us a free dish to select and I chose the yellowtail collar as I'd never had it before. A true feast. The takoyaki where still warm after a 15 minute drive and where perfectly savory and sweet with just the right amount of meat to batter. The yellowtail Nigiri was of great quality with a firm texture that wasn't chewy at all. The monster roll was an explosion of flavors and textures and so rich and filling. The maki and cut roll where dead simple and lovely as well with great rice/filling ratios. The yellowtail collar, while a little tricky to pick over offered delicious fatty morsels of meat with the occasional bone to dodge. It was tasty, but I wouldn't order it as a non freebie.

All in all it was such a hearty and rich meal and if we're in the area again we'll be back to come in next time!“

“We have dined at almost all Mediterranean restaurants in downtown Burlingame. The most outstanding in all categories is the Mediterranean kitchen on Lorton Avenue.
The location is most convenient and the Resturant atmosphere is most welcoming. From their humble Owner to each employee, each patron receives a warm and gracious welcoming.

“We’ve always been thin crust pizza fans, have never tasted authentic NY style pizza, though we have had Napoli-style pizza several times in Rome, and we gotta say, the crust here is AMAZING!! The only slight change that I think would make it taste even better is if there was a bit more salt in the dough. Other than that, the bottom of the pizza was crisp, and the crust was airy and crisp with a slight chew. The crust was so delicious that we saved all our uneaten crusts to bring home for later, could not bear to throw them away (unlike other, more bready crusts). 😆 The pepperoni pizza was our favorite (so flavorful), with the sausage being a close second. The margherita was nice with the fresh basil, but could have used a sprinkling of salt. Our younger son really wanted to try the corn pizza, but we could only manage to finish 3 pizzas with our family of 7, so he has already declared that this will be his pick for his birthday meal, and that he will be getting the corn pizza. 😆 Wish it were closer to us (we live around 30 mins away), but it is not too far for special occasions! From where we live, comparatively, Mountain Mike’s and Porky’s Pizza Palace would be rated 2 or 3 out of 10 and Spinning Dough would be 9/10! Would totally buy it frozen if they offered that, it is that good! Was also a treat for the kids to watch the owner (who is super, super nice!) toss the dough and assemble the pizzas. “Chicken is super flavorful! I had a plate which was $20. Asked for extra rice instead of bread. Portions are decent size and deliver good value. The customer service is nice but its regular mall style self pick up place. Ingredients seem fresh and good quality. Tahini sauce was liquid and not as thick as other places (I think it’s just a matter of personal preference). The place is halal.
The only thing I would drop the price to $16/$17, not $19

There’s a little room to eat inside but most take it out. $7 for a slice of cheese surprised me until I saw the slice. It was made to order so I waited a bit but worth it. The slice was basically two slices inside. They sure do load up the plate. Sturdy slice, great for an energy booster. If you’re not too hungry, you could even share each slice.“

“This review is for a takeout/office catering order so I can’t speak to the vibe, but the staff here are so kind and accommodating and the food was great. I have celiac so I was nervous when my office chose a sandwich spot for a catered lunch, but when I called mission picnic they assured me they could make my sandwich on gluten free bread and would follow appropriate procedures to prevent cross contamination. My sandwich came packed in a separate bag apart from the items with gluten and was marked “gluten free” in multiple places. I felt really safe and the sandwich was great!“

“As a meat eater I do looove the tofu here. The chicken topped salads go crazy with the parm, YUM. I need it with lots of cheese and I'm never disappointed here. They have some kind of magical cookie brownie thing that I sneak into the library to eat while I study because it is just so delicious. I like the outdoor seating area with the space heaters yes god bless. I appreciate how thoroughly the staff know the menu options because me and my BF are indecisive and swap out sides a lot. I just really wish there were bigger plates for the rotisserie chicken plate they offer!“
