Surprisingly, many big names have played at this tiny beach venue, like The Mummies & Supersuckers! This place continues to create new memories for me each time!“

“In a sea of personal choice disappointments in one measured area or another arrive Trish and Becca, two lovely women inhabiting a cafe just off Palmetto Ave serving ambrosial fare in such an aesthetically pleasing atmosphere, including their company, I didn't want to leave. Prior to a recent visit, I had not tried an acai bowl. What a pleasant surprise! I could not stop thanking Becca for allowing me to try her version of same and would like to say thank you for the conversation and ambiance. Excellent music choices. Simply wonderful.“

“I love this spot! My sister used to work here while I was growing up as well as a few friends while I was in my teens. It has always been a peaceful place to draw, read, catch up with a friend, and sip coffee with a snack. They have changed ownership a number of times and always retained good quality! From time to time a man will come in and play piano on the out of tune wooden one. Mostly 60s-early 80s music, he knows all the lyrics too! The landscape artwork by Pam Anderberg is really phenomenal and matches the coastal energy of the cafe. Couldn’t speak higher of a cafe in Pacifica!
The line can be a bit overwhelming on weekends if there is an event. When there was a running event I think it took 20 minutes to get a coffee and muffin.

Reducing a star because of a female barista here that gave terrible service. I asked if I could order two separate single shot espressos, instead of a double shot to which she responded “take your scam somewhere else this is a small business etc.” and generally took a harsh tone. I still ordered and just got a double shot. When I gave her cash for this, she tossed the change back across the counter from my purchase which slid onto the floor. This interaction has stuck with me as I’ve never had a problem visiting this cafe before. Anytime I see this barista behind the counter I decide I’ll just have coffee at home instead.“

“4 stars because the pastor was too salty! So salty the flavor of the chili I didn’t taste! My wife’s taco salad was delicious. Had a taste! My son’s birria taco was good. Outdoor eating however had a bee or bees bugging us so kept trying not kill the bee so it did bother us. Other than that! Good spot for a bite!“

“I go out of my way to get La Mordida' salsa. Generous self serve salsa bar, delicious Chipotle, Verde, pickled jalapeños and carrots, and spicy peppers and mango salsa (I miss the spicy cucumber salad they used to have all the time. The vegetarian options are good, sometimes just all right, but they are very consistent and everything is very fresh. I can make a whole side dish out of their salsa bar while I wait for my order, which makes this my favorite taqueria in town. The one star is missing from my review in atmosphere, only because it's usually quite loud so I only do to-go. I've only sat inside to eat once or twice. The staff is wonderful, helpful, and kind, even with language barriers. Never gotten my order wrong“

“The meat was tender and smokey with rich flavor. The ribs were tasty. My wife liked the brisket, it was moist and had good texture. The beans were ordinary. The slaw was good. Everyone liked the corn bread.“

When we came in there was an amazing aroma from the fresh baked goods and the owner was so sweet and warm ❤️. I got a bowl and being someone that tries to avoid added sugar and processed foods, I was well accommodated. There was also scripture cards on one of the tables that I absolutely loved! Overall I would definitely recommend and I would definitely come back if I'm ever in the area again.“

“The Green Enchilada offers healthy, clean, vegan or carne options. Every item on their menu can be made with tasty tofu as the protein. Or, if you don't like tofu, just order grilled veggies. I like to mix tofu and grilled veggies in my burrito, bowl or tacos. For those who need it, gluten-free is also available. I'd rate this place a 5 if I could. There's value in the fact that I can eat a tasty vegan meal and my husband can have carne asada fajitas....at the same restaurant!“

“Had a Friday afternoon hunger attack for noodles as I drove by Pacifica Thai. Recent reviews were positive and highlighted authenticity, taste, and hospitality. Parked in adjacent lot and entered a welcoming environment. Ordered take out—Pad See Ew with Shrimp & mixed veggies, Chicken Satay. Shrimp Chips are complimentary.

“Humble Sea has become our spot. My husband and I keep finding excuses to come back - the rotating cider selection means there's always something new to try, and the veggie hot dogs on Mondays and Tuesdays are genuinely great (not an afterthought, an actual reason to show up those nights). And get the tater tots. So crispy.

But the real reason we keep coming back is the people. The whole staff has a warm, unhurried vibe, and one of the employees, Taro, has basically become a buddy - he gives us the warmest welcome every time he sees us walk in. It's the kind of place that makes a neighborhood feel like home.“

“Breaker’s is a great comfortable place to get a broad variety of “comfort food” at a reasonable price. Staff are very welcoming and attentive. Portions are definitely biased towards large. Our favorites are Crab Panini, Patty Melt, and Monte Christo. Definitely an affordable casual good quality restaurant close to picturesque scenery with numerous hiking trails.“
