“Absolutely love Spruce Cafe. If you want quality artisanal coffee made with care, this is the place. If you want quick burnt milk coffee, go to Starbucks.

The team here is honestly what makes it special — Amy, Julia, Caitlin, Noah, Andrea, Isa, and Alex always create such a welcoming environment. They remember my dog’s name and always offer him a treat, which says so much about the kind of experience they create for their customers.

You can tell they genuinely care about the coffee, the atmosphere, and the people coming through the door. Great drinks, warm staff, and consistently good vibes every time I come in.“

“Wow!! 🤩 on the first bite! I ordered the chicken sandwich. No pickles. Comes with fries and a Drink. The price less than a fast food or restaurant. Was so worth it!
Juicy, flavorful, thick pieces of chicken and cooked thru. The coleslaw was not too sweet and just perfect. 👌 Fries are not salty at all, crispy and flavorful. They are like Wendy’s. But seasoned. The sandwich buns for me is important. It was not a cheap like. Stayed together and totally complimented the Sandwich!! Comes with a side of Creamy, Yummy Sauce (Dipping fries.), ketchup, napkins and a med size Soda.

This is a “Hidden Gem”! In South San Francisco! Across from Oyster Point. Easy access from Bayshore or Oyster Point exits from the Hwys. Off of 101. Connected to a SHELL GAS STATION. Nashville Chicken served Pepsi Products. And the Little Shell Store has a Great selection of Drinks! Btw if you don’t like Pepsi. Bathrooms are in Shell.

“Greek food. Guapo's basically the more authentic and better version of what Chipotle is. Definitely way tasty and way fresher than Chipotle. They have more things to offer as well I believe and I have to say they do have the absolute best tortilla chips out of any Mexican restaurant I've been to. Give Guapo's a shot I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy it“

“Kevin's Noodle House is the proverbial new kid on the block on Grand Avenue, and it has stepped right into direct competition with Ben Tre. It honestly feels like two local titans going head to head for neighborhood pho supremacy.

That said, I personally prefer Kevin's. I definitely have a soft spot for it since I grew up going to their other locations, and this one delivers that same familiar comfort. The food hits the spot, the flavors are consistent, and it feels dependable in the way a good noodle house should.

The space is clean and modern, and service has been friendly and efficient every time I have been. They renovated this building quite well. Ben Tre is still a strong option and longtime favorite for many, but Kevin's feels a little more my speed. One little quirk I noticed about the waiters - none of them write down orders. They are very good and always get it right. I am glad they opened here, and I will keep coming back.“

“Nick the Greek had an excellent atmosphere, fast service, and friendly staff. The food was fresh and tasted good overall. I would have given five stars, but I specifically asked about the Greek salad portion beforehand and was told it was a good size. Unfortunately, it did not match how it was presented on the menu, and for a $12 salad, it didn’t feel like a good value. I could understand a smaller portion if it included protein, but especially without protein, it felt overpriced for what was served. Good experience overall, but the portion size was disappointing.“

We no longer live nearby but I will still come here because it just doesn't compare to other places. There's a reason why they have been here for so long. “We’ve been heading over to The Night Market for the past few years! The classics are all good, Hainan Chicken, Beef Chow Fun, minced Beef over rice. But if you want to try something unique to The Night Market try the Longan Crispy Pork over rice. I can’t imagine a dish that so uniquely represents the Asian American experience. “Stopped by for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. The place was busy, but the service was fast. We had beef pho and tofu/vegetables with rice. The pho tasted good, but it was mostly broth, more veggies would be nice. The tofu- vegetable dish toasted ok, but it wasn't juicy enough to mix it with the rice, I had to use a lot of soy sauce, which I don't necessarily prefer, since it too salty.“
