Food was decent. For $16 the large bowl was not that large. It's what I'd consider a medium at most other places. The soup, which is supposed to be piping hot, was only moderately hot and a bit lacking in flavor (no hint of cinnamon or anise like it's supposed to). The meat looked like old cuts. Overall it tasted alright. It was close enough and satisfied the craving well enough, but generally lacking in flavor and value.

There's no service to really speak of, an android would be almost as engaging. Nothing bad but nothing great, just 'executing a task' level service.Food is decent, if you're in the area and don't want to drive further away to eat, it won't make you sad. In fact the bbq pork in the bun dish is tender, flavorful and has that nice broiled slight char many places are missing.Pho is midpack as is Bun Rieu, neither being notably flavorful but not bland either. My husband and I have gone several times and the food is always really good. However there's a Manger that brings her 2 young kids (8 &10) with her to the restaurant and the 10 yr old starts taking his shoes off in the dining area and the 8 yr old is standing behind the counter with her hands inside the ice bin playing with the ice and the adults are oblivious to this. The kids act like their at home instead of a public restaurant. We haven't gone back.
