“I went here for the great reviews and word-of-mouth. After visiting the place and meeting the owner, I decided to choose Odyssey for a bulk pizza order (15 XL pizzas and salad) for a non-profit event. I am so happy I went with Odyssey Pizzeria Taqueria. Under fairly new management, it seemed as if they had been doing this for a very long time! From the personal customer service, proactive follow-up, and accommodating my requests, Odyssey went above and beyond my expectations. The space is small with a few tables and chairs outside. What I would call a hole-in-the-wall pizza joint with a coastside casual vibe. Locals love it. I love it. Tourists need to add this to their list too. Support local. Support small business. Get your pizza and so much more from Odyssey!“

Yeah. But that said, I enjoy the environment. It’s relaxed and bustling at the same time. There’s a good sized outdoor patio with several tables when the weather is good. There’s usually a few operations of general aviation aircraft every hour. The food: I have yet to have anything here that isn’t good. I’ve tried several meals, and the Huevos Rancheros is definitely a fave. Presentation is always pretty, too! There was one review about the plastic glasses being worse for wear, but that problem is solved by nice aluminum glasses. Really appreciated their early morning hours, as I was working remotely on central time so my workday started at 6:30am. Many of the other cafes I looked at in the area didn't open until 7:00am. The Yelp map seems to have them located on slightly the wrong location. They are around the corner. Use Apple Maps or Google maps for the proper location. It's on Harvard.Ordered an iced cold brew with a splash of vanilla syrup, a banana, and an almond danish. Blue Ocean Brewing Brewery •
315 Princeton Ave, Half Moon Bay - 2.1 miles

“This place was a huge pleasant surprise. It was a rainy/windy day and we were over in the area because we were just kind of driving the coast. We didn't expect much in this area because we were coming from the somewhat industrial looking side, but decided we wanted to look for a brewery. We googled and ended up trying this place out. Because of the weather, we didn't think there would be anyone else in here and didn't have super high hopes. We were so wrong! When we entered, there was a duo playing live music. They were enjoyable to listen to. There were also quite a few people in there of all ages and seemingly, different walks of life--always a fun thing to see. I ordered a flight and every beer on it was nice and crispy cold--the only way to enjoy beer in my opinion. And the flavors of every one were so impressive. We both love beer and are very impartial to our own local breweries in the town we live in--but coming here made me wish this was in our town! My husband ordered a pint of Sea Wolf and he really enjoyed that. I had the Love Boat on my flight which sounded intriguing to me. It was SO GOOD. It was an ill Ali eery and graham cracker sour. I'm not always a sour lover, but it was the perfect balance. I would say that and the Sea Wolf were my favorites. The gal working, Lauren, was incredibly sweet. We asked for some local suggestions of places she liked for food, drinks, etc. and she was really helpful--gave us lots of great insight. She also chatted with us about her dog and ours...overall just really cool vibes. This will definitely be a go-to spot on all our future visits to the HMB area!“

“If you're a foodie like me, you'll love this place! I highly recommend island chicken wings, spam fries, and my favorite, from the oven and straight to our table, served piping hot, Bibinka Cornbread. Delicious! I had to order twice. Don't miss out on their signature dish, the chicken loco moco, braised short ribs over rice, sisig fried rice, and seafood pan roast. We are frequent travelers to the Island, so we know a little about the dishes we tried. With that said, the combo loco moco stole the show for us. The best part of our meal besides the food, of course, was that it came in hot and we got our meal all at the same time. All the little things go a long way in my book. Of course, we ordered their classic go-to, fried bananas served with ube ice cream for dessert. It tasted like when our Lola (grandmother) used to cook for us growing up. It felt like home. Their service was top-notch considering the time we came, which was almost closing time. Kudos to Carmen! She was attentive and polite. We can't wait to come back. Sorry, we did not take photos; you must take my word or visit Hula Hoops.“

You can see very thin layer of black beans between two deep-fried tortillas. And deep fried, the shell is so crispy, and then you’ve got that thin layer of salty, nutty black beans on the inside. Pickled onion, house made habanero salsa complement the flavors. The main ingredients used in Pork Adobo, Cochinita pibil must be Achiote. It has a slight peppery and lemony taste to it. “I was very excited to find Gherkins Sandwich shop while on a week long trip to HMB. As a vegetarian we usually get stuck with the same repetitive sandwich options when going to delis, but I was ecstatic to see that most of their sandwich options could be made vegetarian by substituting the default protein with tofu.I got a number 19 - Cal Fire with tofu which had honey mustard sauce, avocado and cheese (I switched the pepper jack for swiss). My husband got a #20 - The Sheriff with tofu, which had a Frank's Red Hot sauce. I loved the whole gherkins on the sandwiches! The biggest drawback for us is that the sandwiches were very messy to eat. The tofu ended up being cubed, so the sandwiches started falling apart instantly. I think it would probably be better if the tofu was cut into slabs if possible. I also think some extra seasoning on the tofu would be great. The sauces on our sandwiches were also a little runny, which kind of added to the messy-ness.We had gotten chips but didn't end up eating them because we were so full after the sandwiches. Overall a good option for lunch, but I would have preferred if the sandwiches were a little easier to eat.“

It did get chilly in the late afternoon, but we are hardy Coastsiders, and brought hoodies! Oh, and it’s Dog-friendly too. Many folks brought their canines! Not the owner’s fault, but coming down to the shoreline, from the parking lot and paved trail with a cane, was iffy. I’ll blame that on the SMC Harbor District which should have insured ADA compliance. On the way back, I did see I could have taken a less direct route had l been in a wheelchair.“

“This guy is a coolest dude I know! David ☺️?❤️I can’t even remember if I left him a review before if I have it I probably meant to at least 10 times.I used his bagels as part of my Business events but also he’s just a cool guy down to earth no fakenes, which is something this world needs a lot more of to be honest.Every time we come in my son gets a free cookie or a free bagel or a bag of them. But besides that the food quality is great, the place is clean everybody is super friendly he’s local he’s a hustler like the guy does everything and honestly just a really cool spot to hang out I mean I’ve advertised enough for Pacifica through my business ventures, etc. just come by and visit and you’ll see see what I mean! ☕️?If I move away from South San Francisco, I’m coming back to visit you my friend!??❤️?? ☕️???????Parking: It’s easy just come see.Kid-friendliness: The best! As you can tell mine never ways to leave…“

“It’s our favorite Boba anywhere in & around the Bay Area! The FRIENDLIEST staff [they even helped jumpstart my car once!], the best environment [smack dab in the beauty of Pacifica w/a wonderful community garden walk to the ocean just across Highway 1], & the very yummiest boba [try Rainbow Road with regular & bursting boba combo!]. Help keep this Boba spot thriving by making the trip & stopping by!“

“Absolutely great bar in my opinion. Always has local and not so local bigger bands playing, great tap selection, and overall great vibe. Sea Jay, the owner is usually there having fun listening to music as well. What can I say, he seems to have great taste. The bar also hosts events like the Rock ‘n’ Roll flea market which is always a treat for all your music needs and neat bric-a-brac that the vendors bring in. Usually something for everyone which is fun cause all of us aren’t music nerds!“

“Came here for a friend's birthday. I wish there was more information online about their menu, but overall, we had a fantastic time, enjoying both the wine and food. The staff was incredibly helpful, especially for those of us less familiar with wine. The quaint, small setting adds to the charm, and I'll definitely return. It's a lovely spot to unwind and savor a glass of wine.“

“I have to strongly disagree with whoever gave this place and one star review I have not met the owner personally. However, I plan to email her because I want to ask her to carry some of my crafts. The person who manages this coffee shop is the owner sister, and she is nothing short of fantastic, I visited this coffee shop with my mother and my two-year-old now and he nearly wanted to destroy the place. They were so kind and so nice she let us stay even after the place was closed so that he could finish his meal and I could finish my work.I have bought jewelry and the best sandwiches and pretty good coffee.Planning to stop by there this week and I hope those of you visiting Pacifica will also stop by and support this coffee shop and all the other local businesses down the street .❤️“

“(Ryan Reynolds voiceover) The vibe is hidden gem in plain sight coffee house in HMB! Such gorgeous rustic interior decorations! Love the solid wood wall and elephant motiff. Athima warmly greeted us. We ordered the Double Down on the Everything bagel. Bacon, Egg, Sausage goodiness that defines hearty. Double Down is how I Iike it! We also got the Doggy Style...Special. Doggy Special! (For the canine owner in all of us) Sorta impossible for me to order with a straight face. But I did. Is it mischievous me or the words that have a mesmerizing effect? Everyone but the IG model beside me were instantly catatonic. And yes, Yes, YES! They were the best scrambled eggs on Earth! Names do hold magic. By contrast, the Green Pineapple drink exemplified strict good behavior in liquid nourishment! So delish! So green nutrish! The quad shot Gingerbread Cappucino was very Hansel & Gretel good! Heavenly! Especially, for high performance engines like me that run on a higher blood level of cAMP. Isn't that right, ladies? My gosh we just loved this place! The great service, the warm ambiance, and the fab cuisine. Would order everything again...maybe more next time! Super mega thanks, Athima! Woohoo!“
