“Anchored in the bay, all the way from Puget sound and a dinghy ride in for food. Walked around and quickly realized this was the busiest spot in town. Cold beverages outside made the wait alright. “Really fantastic gelato. There was a well-deserved line around the building and the guys working handled the rush wonderfully. Gelato worth the drive from SF, and the owner is lovely. I had espresso and chocolate. My husband had pistachio and ginger cookie (speculoos). The pistachio was in the top 3 of pistachio flavored things I have ever tasted. Bravo on the flavors. Tout était délicieux! 👨‍🍳 💋 🍨“

“This place is amazing every time! Didn't have it this time but the seafood chowder is the best around that area! If its warm dine on the patio, preferably with an ocean view. Some fire pits that you can sit by as well if cooler outside. All around its a wonderful place with a great history!!“

We postponed twice because of the pandemic and in the course of that time changed our venue to San Benito House. Let me tell you, that was the BEST decision we ever made. Not only is the venue itself incredibly beautiful and the food so delicious, but Kai and his staff bent over backwards for us and all of our guests. Kai is the ultimate hype guy and he took what normally would have been a stressful event to plan, and made it so easy and fun. I would (and will) recommend that anyone who is wanting a Half Moon Bay wedding, that this is the ultimate place to go. Our guests are still talking about the day and if we could, we’d do it 1000 times over just to experience the magic again. Thank you, thank you, thank you! “Wonderful spot for tea in Half Moon Bay. Darling building, cute comfy interior. A very pleasant spot for an afternoon tea. The tier comes with standard goodies done very well: super generous scone, cream & curd, cookie, sandwich with several delicious choices, a fruit kabob and the extra special kale salad which was a nice surprise- so yummy I cleaned out the little ramekin it comes in. Tea choices are good and varied. A completely relaxing experience. Lovely spot with excellent professional service.“

“Our family has eaten here countless times and it’s completely amazing. The family who owns it are so kind and you can tell the Paella is an old recipe, which is confirmed to be grandmother’s recipe. It’s never dry, never overly soupy, and the seafood is so fresh being next to the ocean. The lobster bisque has ruined me for any other lobster bisque on earth. It has a perfect balanced taste of Smokey, spicy and sweet and it’s not thick and gloppy. The service is always so attentive and kind. You can tell how much they care about their establishment. It’s always so consistent. I love supporting this business.“

“Came here on a Sunday night with a big group and they were able to accommodate us right away. We had the Brussels sprouts, cheese bread, crab bread, crab cakes, boneless rips, clipper plates, Manila clams and tacos. Basically everything from the menu. Everything was really delicious and the service was pretty fast. We’ll be here again! Def try to make resos before you come“
