HMB brewery has a fun atmosphere indoors and outdoors. There is often live music in the bar area which is a great vibe on its own. The patio can be windy, but it does have heaters and more sheltered areas. Similarly, to Sam's, you can take a nice walk with your dog before or after your meal. Food and drink are always the most rewarding after a day being active in the sun. We were initially looking into a different spot but ended up at the doors of Half Moon Bay Brewing Company because they offered drinks, had plenty of outdoor and indoor seating, and was lively (lots of people out, relaxing and dining). Food was excellent. Service was good but not great. Our server was not totally with it. He kept calling for a chicken sandwich when I clearly ordered a chicken salad. The salad was great. We made sure the chicken sandwich we did not order was taken off the bill. Our appetizer never came. We made sure it was not in the bill. Ambiance was good.
