Great menu options, flexible re food allergies, and the room was lovely - if too tight for the cocktail/ circulating hor d'oeuvres concept. People clustered in the 4 corners of the room and didn't have room to really mingle. Considering it was a relatively big group, the food was quite good (though duck was a bit tough & scallops were disappointingly small - not succulent).I would come again. Conundrum is that the minimum was high for our group, so I'd book again for a larger group, but the room would be really too tight for more than, say, 16 people.“

“I love this Palmetto location. It's super close to a few workout studios and is the perfect post-gym snack! I never craved acai bowls unless I was in Hawaii, but that mindset changed when I came across Palmetto. I believe they plan on expanding rapidly in the coming years, so hopefully quality stays the same. The Burlingame location is my go to as it's pretty close to home and convenient to get to. I would recommend order via the app because there's only one self-order kiosk in the store and it can take a while if it's busy. The only downfall is that you can't access some discounts (primarily the healthcare worker discount) via the app. My orders have always been ready on time...but communication can be a little hit or miss at this store. I recently had a mishap with the app and popped in prior to my workout/an hour before my pick-up time to ensure that the correct order got made. I spoke with one employee who assured me that she would convey the message. When I returned to pick up the mobile order, I decided to check my bowls prior to leaving to make sure that the mistake was corrected. Thankfully I did because I found out that message did not get passed on as promised.“
“There are few foods I enjoy more than a fresh deli sandwich, and I was quite pleased with the sandwiches at Cafe Stellato! Cafe Stellato is a very cute cafe that greets you with a display of fantastic looking gelato (which I will be trying next time I come in!). But there are also a plethora of sandwich options available to those who make their way in toward the back of the cafe. I ordered the Stellato Special with the works, and my partner ordered the Alpino. The combination of turkey, artichoke, and sun dried tomatoes were delicious, and the ingredients all tasted very fresh. When asked, I opted for the spicy calabrese spread, though I was slightly disappointed that there was no real spice to it. My partner thoroughly enjoyed the Alpino as well, and commented multiple times on how tasty the pancetta (Italian bacon) was!Our order was taken very quickly, and the sandwiches were prepared nice and quickly. Everyone working there was friendly and efficient.I will definitely be coming back to eat my way through more of their sandwich menu. “Love this coffee shop. It is family owned. Seems many are regular. The owner is nice. It is a small shop which serves coffee, pastries and regular american breakfast like egg and sandwich. It has indoor and outdoor seating.We ordered almost croissants and latte. Price is reasonable and it is cheaper than other coffee shops. The croissant is yummy and fluffy. The latte is good and light. Will visit again and try the sandwich.“

“What a vibe, great drinks! The bartenders are QUALITY... They are very attentive and quick to push out quality drinks. The place was not really crowded due to the rain but the patrons were diverse and respectful. One thing I did notice was that despite being able to work efficiently, the bar did cycle through workers often. Would begin socializing with the group and then look to the bar, new bartenders. Talk more, look back and it was back to original with maybe some new faces or mix of them. There was one bartender guy that looked like a model or belonged on one of those Netflix dating shows. Tipped him twice as much because... why not? The drinks were unique! There was a matcha martini that was really good. The after taste had a nice matcha aroma and the mezcal drink, campfire something. Those two were the ones I asked for and both delivered in terms of taste, visual appeal, and price. Did not get to try the food since we arrived pretty late. “My friend and I had dinner at Twelvemonth last night and it was an amazing experience! There are several parking lots in the downtown area, as well as street parking. The theming and decor here is so cute and would be great for a date night! We sat inside next to a big tree, and the whole vibe inside was amazing and felt upscale. I can't wait to come back here during the warmer weather and sit outside! They also have a bakehouse around the corner, but I don't believe it was open when we went around dinnertime. Everything here is vegan, and although I'm not vegan, I truly did not miss the meat at all and thought all of the food we tried was flavorful and delicious! We started with the crispy maitake mushrooms, which were so chewy, crispy, and flavorful! They had hot nash seasoning, pickles, and whipped ranch, and they came with a delicious dipping sauce which was equally as yummy. I had the Winter Chopped Salad as my entree, but I asked for feta instead of the blue cheese. It was such a delicious salad that I'd definitely order again, but I'd probably pair it with another entree, as I was still a little hungry afterwards. I also had the Windfall mocktail which was refreshing and light! I really enjoyed it. My friend ordered the spaghetti and a glass of wine and enjoyed them both! The servers were very attentive and our water glasses were never empty. They also answered any questions we had and were very friendly! Side note- the restrooms are also so cool here! I recommend checking them out! (I didn't take any pictures but they are so cute and very clean!) I never though I'd drive out of my way to go to a vegan resturant, but I'd do it again! Chef could do less guest fraternization, but if he's the reason the food is so good, whatever. The value is really good here, but another annoyance is that the menus and the tables are "sticky" - this is maybe not to say "not clean", but noticeable and shows staff is not instructed properly.“

Moving on to the entrees, the pan-fried string beans with beef proved to be mediocre, with the beef lacking tenderness and the string beans overshadowing it in terms of flavor and enjoyment. Conversely, the pumpkin yellow chicken emerged as the standout dish of the night, boasting flavorful components, although the chunky texture could have been improved with smaller ingredient sizes. An unexpected mishap occurred with the rice order, as regular rice was substituted with coconut rice without any discernible coconut flavor. Despite the culinary ups and downs, service remained a highlight, with an attentive server enhancing the overall dining experience. As we dined on the outdoor patio, ambiance was standard, offering little to comment on. In summary, Mingalaba offers a varied dining experience with both hits and misses. “While we were finishing dinner i was making another reservation to bring friends from out of town later in the week - that's how much I liked my first visit to Twelvemonth. After sharing a starter and a dessert and each enjoying a main course and their incredibly good bread, we were comfortably fed. We would happily order the carrot curry and the pasta with winter squash and pepper sauce again. I'm a fan of fried mushrooms, and I think the fried maitake were the best i've ever eaten. We nearly skipped dessert but i'm so glad we didn't. We shared the sticky toffee pudding, which was more of a loaf cake and not all that sticky, but the flavor of the dish (with optional soft serve) was sublime. Menu includes a thoughtful selection of non-alcoholic cocktails. The smoky, slightly bitter Mas O Menos with grapefruit and rosemary was perfect for someone who doesn't care for sweet cocktails. Pleasant, skillful service. The crowd was all adults, couples and groups of friends. I saw no children in the dining room at 7:30 on a Saturday and no children's menu. Which is not to say children wouldn't be welcome but I think only the adventuresome eaters would be comfortable.“

Our server was helpful (it was my first time there), patient and attentive. The view of the water is so nice, especially around sunset. The food was good. The portions were bigger than I anticipated but a little overcooked. The molten chocolate cake wasn't what I expected. I was hoping the cake would be filled with liquid and the outer layer more like a cake texture. The molten chocolate cake was more like a truffle.“
