“A really wonderful, romantic oasis in downtown Burlingame. All the food we ordered here was delicious. The Italian sausage lasagna was my highlight. The pomegranate and arugula salad was also wonderful. The Bolognese lasagna was solid but not as standout. The complimentary focaccia bread at the beginning was just so-so.

The staff and service are extraordinarily welcoming and friendly. I'd highly recommend a visit!“

“Was here on a Friday night for dinner - there was a wait even with a reservation but the staff was nice enough the people in line free wine and a seat at the bar. We were seated shortly after and went with the ribs and paella - both were good and portion was hearty. Food took a while to be prepared. Busy and tables were pretty close to each other. Would consider returning.“

“Nice Italian fare with really friendly service. My Ecuadorian see bass was very good and not as carb heavy as many Italian dishes. My colleagues appeared to enjoy their choices as well. We shared tiramisu for dessert which was ok albeit not brilliant. Overall a good unrushed experience.“

“I love supporting small businesses and this place is the Best! I love their Lavazza cappuccino and pastries especially the cannolis! Got to try the vegetariana sandwich today and it was the best vegetarian sandwich I’ve had! Super cute spot and very kind people!“

“I came in for a quick lunch while I was waiting and nearby. It really exceeded my expectations. I got a slice of sausage and pepperoni with a drink, which was cheap and exactly what I wanted. I'm not sure I would say it is the best quick slice I've had in the bay area, but it is the best from a chain. Service was super fast and friendly, my food was ready pretty much once I filled my drink. It was one of the coke touchscreen selector machines, so I got something I never find. There were a great selection of different pizza toppings to use, pretty much anything I would want, and some I wouldn't think of.
My only real issue was the atmosphere. I liked the decor, but it felt like it was designed for the kind of dining I was there for. It just felt a little seedy, I didn't want to linger after eating. I've been to worse, especially for this general category of place, but it felt like they were shooting a bit above that.
All and all, I'll be back. It will be on my radar for the future.“

“Pizzeria Delfina is a great go-to. Food is wonderful and the ambiance is comfortable. The weather was great and we got to sit outside. The 3 service star was only for service that was a bit slow. The wait staff was very friendly and doing their best. The gluten free pizza crust is the best and the caprese salad was amazing.“
