“Stopped by this spot in Pacifica today, tucked away in the Linda Mar area, and I’m really glad I did. The service from David was great, the food was absolutely delicious, and the whole place felt super cozy. It didn’t feel pretentious at all, just an old-school family-owned spot that’s perfect for gloomy weather when you’re craving pasta and garlic bread.

I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and shrimp, and it was so good. The portion was incredibly generous, everything tasted fresh, and the garlic bread that comes with the pasta is HUGE. We also ordered the cheesy garlic bread on the side, and honestly, it was amazing dipped in the marinara sauce.

I’d definitely come back and bring more family members with me next time. It’s such a chill little hole-in-the-wall spot. It was surprisingly empty when we went, I think we were the only people there on a Friday night, which honestly made me sad because everything about the experience was great, and they already have really solid reviews.

There’s plenty of parking too. Please support family-owned small businesses like this. I’m so tired of overpriced, overly precious restaurants when places like this exist - great food, great prices, and genuinely good people.“

“We had a party and ordered 6 pizzas. They arrived in 30 minutes, at the exact time we wanted them. Throughout the evening people commented on how good the pizzas were and asked repeatedly where we got them. Even the veggie pizza was delicious, and those are the hardest to get right. We were 100% satisfied!“

“We had our grandmother's celebration of life. Staff was amazing. The restaurant is closed from 2:30 to 4:30 and we were able to rent out the entire restaurant during that time. “From start to finish, we had an amazing experience! The food was absolutely delicious and you could really taste the high-quality ingredients in every dish. We ordered the garlic cheese bread, meatballs, salami calzone, chicken parm, veal parm, and the cacio e pepe pasta, and every single item was outstanding. We ended our night with tiramisu & cannolis, they were both light and decadent. There wasn't a single dish we didn't love.

The service was just as impressive. Our food came out quickly, and the servers were attentive, friendly, and made sure we always had what we needed. Even after the restaurant got busy, the staff handled everything so smoothly. They had such a great flow, and the level of service never changed despite the rush.

“Wonderful as always. We arrived at our 1;45 reservation when the server let us know the kitchen was closing at 2. “This place has the best lasagna on the peninsula, hands down. The bolognese is by far the best lasagna I have ever eaten. It is layers and layers and layers of light, fresh pasta with the most flavorful sauce ever. And if you're in the mood for something with just the right kick, the italian sausage lasagna is fantastic! My daughter is a fan of the make your own pasta, where your choice of noodles, sause and protein gives you just what you want. They have a fabulous lobster ravioli and a fantastic porcini mushroom ravioli special that are favorites.

Meals start with some of the lightest bread ever made, and you cannot go wrong ending your meal with tiramisu. We will continue to go here often!“

“These photos are from two separate visits. Vega is amazing! Very much a family atmosphere, the staff is amazing and so friendly. Their wine selection is also great and they can help you choose a wine to pair with dinner. I believe the owner or someone owns a wine store down the street so it makes sense. Menu is small for a reason, all of the options are great but the arugula salad and the gnocchi are so delicious. This place is a hidden gem.“

“Stella is a sweet, comfortable restaurant with lovely employees and tasty food. The cheese bread was excellent, and the spicy pasta special was absolutely amazing and full of flavor.

Unfortunately, my pork loin was disappointing. It was served with white beans and sauce, and the beans were actually the best part of the dish. The pork itself lacked flavor and was somewhat tough. I hope they revisit this dish because, in my opinion, it does not represent the quality of the rest of their menu.

What truly made our experience worthwhile was our server, George. He was one of the most attentive and sincere servers anyone could ask for. In today’s world, excellent service can be difficult to find, but Stella clearly knows how to choose its employees. The entire staff was friendly and helpful, and it genuinely felt like a team effort to make sure we had a pleasant experience.

We understand how difficult it is to operate a restaurant today, and we appreciate what Stella is doing. We are repeat customers and look forward to returning—next time, I’ll just order a different entrée!“

“Such a special place. Similar to La Ciccia, Binu Bonu maintains a lovely neighborhood feel. Huge selection of wine (all of it new to me and something I really liked), wonderful charcuterie type small plates (out of this world olives). I was going through a stressful situation as my flight at San Francisco Airport was disrupted and I had been given hotel and meal vouchers. Roma Deli accepted the meal vouchers without any hassle, which I really appreciated.

“Locals love this pizza shop in the mission. Quick and easy for eating in and to-go. There’s a little room to eat inside but most take it out. $7 for a slice of cheese surprised me until I saw the slice. It was made to order so I waited a bit but worth it. The slice was basically two slices inside. They sure do load up the plate. Sturdy slice, great for an energy booster. If you’re not too hungry, you could even share each slice.“
