“Fantastic dinner! Just random tourists who dropped in on a Saturday night and had a wonderful meal. The roasted calamari was so tender, so tasty. A treat!! Squid ink fregola with octopus and squid was unique and delicious. Semolina gnochetti pork sugo was rich and delicious. And the oven roasted whole prawns were cooked perfectly. Loved this Sardinian style menu and encourage everyone to go.“

They have a large back room for banquets.

“So delicious. We ordered the prosciutto with burrata, the fennel salad, pork chop, and ravioli. The ravioli was amazing, I don’t know how they got the favors mixed so well, but I’m not normally a huge ravioli person but this is by far the best ravioli i had in the city.

Overall great fresh pasta and panna cotta, we haven't had a chance to try their sandwiches or other ready to eat stuff but another customer dining next to us mentioned she loved their lasagna, pre-made sauces, and pastas shells. Customer service is also stellar. Also just an FYI the baked pasta will come out pretty toasted so expect a dryer, harder top.“

“Vittorio was our hero! We found ourselves out a caterer about a week before our wedding and by the greatest luck, Vittorio was available on the date of our wedding. We could not have been more grateful to him for quickly coordinating everything with us, fitting us in for a tasting within days, and putting together an absolutely unforgettable Italian feast for our wedding. Everyone raved about how delicious his food was, both our vegetarian and non-vegetarian guests alike thought the Eggplant Parmesan was amazing and the Lasagna was to die for. He handles everything from rentals to the food to the bar and provides exceptional service to go alongside some of the greatest food we have had. The process of working with Vittorio was exceptionally smooth, we sat down with him to select the menu and from there he handled everything else! In a time that can be chaotic and stressful, he really made sure that everything came together seamlessly and was so easy to work with. Aside from the fact that we will be forever grateful for him coming in at our time of need, we got extremely lucky to have found such a talented chef and catering team in Vittorio and the Trattoria de Vittorio team!“

“What a pleasant surprise! The place is very spacious, and would be a great venue for a big group. There were only three of us, and Alejandro really took care of us. The bruschetta was amazing, as was the lamb ragu. We also ordered the branzino special and the seafood pasta… both were delicious as well. We kept rotating our plates because everything was so delicious and we didn’t want to miss out. For dessert, we tried the zabaglione, and it was so yummy! “I would like to share my disappointing experience at this restaurant last night regarding the reservation process and customer service.
Before arriving, we called the restaurant to make a reservation. The staff member who answered told us to make a reservation through Yelp. I explained that Yelp was not allowing us to book, which was the reason we called directly. She then told us that she would put us in the system and that our table would be ready in about 20 minutes, which worked perfectly for our drive to the restaurant.
However, when we arrived and informed the hostess that we had a reservation, she immediately told us that the restaurant does not take reservations and operates on a first-come, first-served basis. I even showed her the sms confirmation from my phone.This was very confusing and frustrating because we had just spoken with someone who confirmed our reservation over the phone.
As a result, we arrived expecting a table to be ready, only to find out that no reservation existed. We were dining with a child, so the unexpected wait made the situation even more difficult.
I understand that restaurants can be busy, but clear and consistent communication is very important. If reservations are not accepted, this should have been communicated honestly during the phone call. The conflicting information made us feel misled and disappointed with the service experience.
I hope management can review this situation with the staff to prevent similar misunderstandings for future guests.“

“As someone raised on the east coast, I consider myself a decent critic of what makes a sandwich shop better than what you can make at home. Number one is bread that isn’t something that can be bought at your local grocery store. Check that box- I don’t know exactly how to categorize their sub roll but it’s crusty, chewy and all the things that mass produced bread can’t be. Number two is the prep of the ingredients- at home we can all put a lettuce leaf on a sandwich, but that just creates a barrier between bread/sauce/meat. Here it’s thinly sliced and perfectly married to the importance of sauce…which they also nail. All I can say is WELL DONE!“

“I met the owner of this place while doing rideshare. At the end of the trip he said, “Since you got me home safely, come by my sandwich shop and I’ll have my people hook you up.”
His staff was just as friendly as he was, and the sandwich tasted even better than I expected.
My recommendation: turkey and salami with lettuce, tomato, and pickles on a toasted French roll with garlic sauce only.
The taste isn’t something to die for, it’s something to live and stay alive for.

“I love this place! Their backyard is cozy, spacious, and perfect for gathering friends. We’ve watched both soccer and football games there, and it’s always a fun vibe.

The food is amazing—my go-to is the chicken with Catupiry pizza, but the chicken & bacon and the calabresa pizzas are also delicious. And don’t skip the Brazilian bites they offer; they’re incredible.
