The owner Luisa is the real deal. 92 years, 7th generation restauranteur, who has owned dozens of restaurants in SF over the decades. Her recipes are delicious and she sat by our table and chatted with us while we ate.
Eating at Luisa's restaurant is like walking into a family kitchen and sitting down for an authentic home-cooked meal! We were just visiting the area after returning from a cruise and decided to try it. We enjoyed wine and appetizers of bruschetta, meatballs, Caesar salad, and beef carpaccio.
