“I've tried all the vegetarian burritos in town, and La Perla has the best. All ingredients of a super burrito (minus meat) and comes with extra veggies inside - peppers, onions, and spinach fajita style - rather than just a regular burrito, but with less, like most places do. It stands out among the Mexican restaurants in town for vegetarian options. Very good homemade salsas“

“We moved to Pacifica about a month ago and tried this place out our first weekend here… and have been back every weekend since! I can’t recommend this place enough. I love the menu variety and how fresh and delicious all the sides and veggies are. All the meats are great too—my favorites are the pork belly and the ribeye. The sauce bar is awesome too. I can’t stop saying “I love hot pot” throughout our meal every time we go and I always eat way too much. It’s so good. Do yourself a favor and go! And wear some stretchy pants!“

Service was a bit slow for tacos but nothing horrible (~10mins). Very nice staff and free chips and salsa inside (self service).“

“Stopped by this spot in Pacifica today, tucked away in the Linda Mar area, and I’m really glad I did. The service from David was great, the food was absolutely delicious, and the whole place felt super cozy. It didn’t feel pretentious at all, just an old-school family-owned spot that’s perfect for gloomy weather when you’re craving pasta and garlic bread.

I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and shrimp, and it was so good. The portion was incredibly generous, everything tasted fresh, and the garlic bread that comes with the pasta is HUGE. We also ordered the cheesy garlic bread on the side, and honestly, it was amazing dipped in the marinara sauce.

I’d definitely come back and bring more family members with me next time. It’s such a chill little hole-in-the-wall spot. It was surprisingly empty when we went, I think we were the only people there on a Friday night, which honestly made me sad because everything about the experience was great, and they already have really solid reviews.

There’s plenty of parking too. Please support family-owned small businesses like this. I’m so tired of overpriced, overly precious restaurants when places like this exist - great food, great prices, and genuinely good people.“

Generous self serve salsa bar, delicious Chipotle, Verde, pickled jalapeños and carrots, and spicy peppers and mango salsa (I miss the spicy cucumber salad they used to have all the time. The vegetarian options are good, sometimes just all right, but they are very consistent and everything is very fresh. I can make a whole side dish out of their salsa bar while I wait for my order, which makes this my favorite taqueria in town. The one star is missing from my review in atmosphere, only because it's usually quite loud so I only do to-go. I've only sat inside to eat once or twice. The staff is wonderful, helpful, and kind, even with language barriers. Never gotten my order wrong“

“My son took me here for lunch - we’d been meaning to try it. We were very pleased - amazing view with tiered tables so other guests aren’t blocking the view. The service was exceptional and the food was delicious and nicely presented. As a nice addition, there was a pianist playing while we dined which added to the ambience. “I've been dining at this restaurant for club events for several years. Our club receives a varied menu: prime rib, Chicken Cordon Bleu, salmon or surf and turf. The price of our meals include wine, hors d'oeuvres, dessert and gratuity. That's pretty reasonable given today's expensive eateries. The staff is friendly, personable and professional. Food is prepared quickly and efficiently. I recommend this restaurant for small parties/groups. 😊“

“Ok, so, I love a good pozole, but I also have some stomach issues that make it so I can’t really process hot spicy food well, so I often can’t find a pozole that works for me and still is deep and rich like I want. Their pozole here is a rare and delicious exception! It’s rich deep broth sings and the hot oil is in the side so I was able to dig in and have an amazing lunch before heading to the beach to chill out for a bit. I’ll be back, often.

I also had their carnitas burrito and it slapped pretty hard too.

That said, the quesadilla was just a bit meh.“

“We came in for a late lunch after checking into our hotel. The food came out fast, I think the owner was our waitress. Their gator sauce was to die for! We did fish and chips and two orders of calamari! I even told one of the neighbors in the hotel to go try it for their lunch today! Can’t wait to go back to visit!!“
