“Here on vacation, saw the reviews of this place, and so glad we stopped by to try. It's take out only, owned and operated by a nice couple. Family of 4 was only $58. The food was hot, tasty, and enough of a portion size to fill you up. We will definately come back next time we are in town.“

“I've been dining at this restaurant for club events for several years. Our club receives a varied menu: prime rib, Chicken Cordon Bleu, salmon or surf and turf. The price of our meals include wine, hors d'oeuvres, dessert and gratuity. That's pretty reasonable given today's expensive eateries. The staff is friendly, personable and professional. Food is prepared quickly and efficiently. I recommend this restaurant for small parties/groups. 😊“

“My son took me here for lunch - we’d been meaning to try it. We were very pleased - amazing view with tiered tables so other guests aren’t blocking the view. The service was exceptional and the food was delicious and nicely presented. As a nice addition, there was a pianist playing while we dined which added to the ambience. We will come back because it was such a nice treat. One of those places that makes me love living in California!“

“Breaker’s is a great comfortable place to get a broad variety of “comfort food” at a reasonable price. Staff are very welcoming and attentive. Portions are definitely biased towards large. Our favorites are Crab Panini, Patty Melt, and Monte Christo. Definitely an affordable casual good quality restaurant close to picturesque scenery with numerous hiking trails.“

“Good breakfast place in Pacifica. The portions are satisfying and fresh. The ambiance is simple and like the classic small town diner; this is a good thing. Service is friendly and prompt, with several check-ins for more coffee. We’ve taken grandkids here to celebrate birthday breakfasts. Price can be high, but the quality is good. Plenty of parking.“
“Humble Sea in Pacifica feels like a foggy day that decided to become a brewery—in the best possible way.
You walk in and it’s all soft light, ocean air sneaking through the doors, and that low hum of people who clearly planned to stay longer than they said they would. It’s got that laid-back surf energy, but without trying too hard to sell it. Just… easy.
The beers lean hazy, juicy, a little playful. I had one of their IPAs and it felt like drinking something that didn’t want to fight you—smooth, citrusy, just enough bite to keep it interesting. It’s the kind of place where you say, “I’ll just try one more,” and suddenly you’re deep in a flight you didn’t plan on ordering.
There’s usually a food truck situation going on outside, which completes the whole experience. Nothing fancy, just good, satisfying food that pairs perfectly with a cold beer and that slightly moody Pacifica backdrop.
Service is friendly in that genuine, local way—no script, no attitude. Just people who seem stoked you showed up.
It’s not flashy, not trying to be the next big thing. It’s better than that. It’s consistent, comfortable, and quietly excellent—the kind of spot that becomes part of your regular rotation without you even realizing it.

“It was a nice spot to just eat and chill for a bit. Me and my brother just came off a roller coaster of flight and emotions. So we were pretty hungry. Wanted breakfast so this was our only good looking option. It did not disappoint with the food being delicious and our server Gloria was the best. She made sure we had our condiments before our food came out and made sure everything was good for us. She was very attentive towards us and was such a sweet lady. Would recommend if you’re at the airport.“
“Dear the Perry’s Crew at SFO,
I am writing this from the bottom of my heart to thank you for your incredible assistance during my medical emergency at your restaurant last week.
In a moment that was incredibly frightening for me, your team’s fast response and professionalism quite literally saved my life. I truly believe that without your quick thinking, I wouldn't be here today to write this note.
I also want to extend a special thank you to the Manager on duty. Taking the time to speak with my wife on the phone and provide her with updates while the medical team assisted me meant the world to her during a very difficult hour.
You are all heroes in my book. And for what it's worth—from what I remember before things went sideways—the food was fantastic and highly recommended!
With deepest gratitude,
Jorge Rosales“

“Absolutely loved dinner at Heirloom Cafe in the Mission. One of those rare San Francisco spots that still feels deeply personal, warm, and genuinely neighborhood-driven. The atmosphere is intimate and understated, but the food and wine program are world class.
The burger is still one of the best in SF. Rich, perfectly cooked, layered with incredible flavor, and somehow even better paired with a bold red from their beautifully curated wine list. The staff clearly knows wine and actually cares about helping you find the right pairing instead of just pushing expensive bottles. We ended up with an amazing Hungarian recommendation that elevated the entire meal. The desert wine and champagne even slap.
Huge credit to Wisconsin born Josh DeClercq and the team in the kitchen for keeping the food simple, seasonal, and dialed. You can feel the consistency and attention to detail in every dish. The whole place has that timeless California French bistro energy that’s getting harder and harder to find in San Francisco.
If you want a real SF dinner experience with exceptional wine, incredible hospitality, and food that feels thoughtful without trying too hard, this place is special. Perfect date night spot. We’ll absolutely be back.“

“The burger was really good. Got the HWC burger with waffle fries, the burger was really flavorful and juicy. Taste wise I had zero complaints.
Overall the meal was sort ok for the price in SF I guess. The burger itself was almost the size of a whopper jr but with more meat. The quality of the burger is great but the size is a bit disappointing. Waffle fries were standard, nothing super amazing nor bad.
If I could just buy 2 burgers for the price of the burger & fries I'd be more than happy. That said, even with the but of criticism I'd go back again no hesitation.“

“JC Bruno is more than a restaurant, it’s a relationship. It’s now my #1 spot, and I’d recommend it in a heartbeat to anyone looking for great food, genuine people, and unforgettable service! If you’re looking for a go-to restaurant that feels like your favorite local spot and your second home, JC Bruno is it. I truly mean when I say that Marcela, the owner, is the soul of this place, and she has completely redefined what true hospitality means in today’s world. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted not just by a friendly staff, but by people who genuinely care. Marcela herself is always around, and what makes her so special is that she doesn’t act like a distant owner, but rather you feel like you’re planning something with a longtime friend. She’ll chat with you, laugh with you, and most importantly, she stands by you to help plan your perfect experience, whether you’re organizing a small dinner or a full-blown celebration. What blew me away most was how flexible she is. JC Bruno’s menu is already this amazing fusion of European, Mediterranean, and other international flavors, but if there’s something special you want that’s not listed? Just ask. Marcela will go out of her way to make it happen. That kind of flexibility is almost unheard of these days. I’ve worked with many restaurants for events and special dinners, but working with Marcela is different because she treats you like a partner, not a transaction. She’ll talk through your vision, offer smart suggestions, and help you figure out the best possible setup for your group. The way she collaborates with you makes it fun and stress-free. It’s rare to find a place where the owner is this involved and down-to-earth.“

“BG is a gorgeous restaurant, with well prepared food, and live music/jazz, most days of the week. Owners are very personable and hands-on, which is rare, amongst restaurants. Great place for special occasions or just a night out with your favorite person/people. Share a great experience, without a shocking price tag!“

“I just love this place! The service is always SO FAST, excellent, and so warm. All the servers are just fantastic. Great for lunch/dinner (Turkey club is my fave) but the breakfast is where they really shine. Love the popeye scramble with several cups of grat coffee. Very old school local vibes. I hope they are around forever!“

“Neal’s Coffee Shop is one of those rare spots that still feels like a true neighborhood gem. The moment you walk in, you get that classic, old-school diner vibe—warm, welcoming, and unpretentious.
The food is consistently great, especially the breakfast. The portions are generous, everything tastes fresh, and you can tell they actually care about quality. Whether it’s pancakes, omelets, or a simple cup of coffee, it always hits the spot.
What really makes this place stand out is the service. The staff are friendly, attentive, and make you feel like a regular even if it’s your first visit.
If you’re looking for a relaxed place with solid comfort food and a genuine local feel, Neal’s Coffee Shop is definitely worth a visit. I’ll be coming back again for sure.“

“I’m so glad I discovered this neighborhood gem. The place was high energy on a Saturday and I sat at the bar counter. Great service on arrival, they were warm and welcoming. I ordered the fresh orange juice with steak and eggs. I liked how musicians and bands would walk in and perform a few songs. What a cool vibe. I could tell this was a family run business and everyone played their part to make sure everything was smooth. The steak and eggs plate was fantastic and a great price for San Francisco. Everything was well seasoned and the meal hit the spot. I definitely recommend this place if you are in the area.“

“We had the five course tasting menu each and the food was really delicious and very cool to sample so many different things. 20% tip is compulsory (+7% extra fee for something else?) which is potentially why the servers were a bit intimidating and didn't feel the need to be friendly... They mumbled through telling us what each dish was so we couldn't actually hear what a lot of it was, especially as they weren't looking at us when talking to us. Service was super quick however, and they were very prompt with filling up waters. They then asked to tip on top of the included 20%, when all they had done throughout the meal was glare at us as if we were an inconvenience! Also, and this is extremely minor but I ordered steak and a dessert, and both times the server assumed they were for my boyfriend and we had to awkwardly swap (he just had some fruit for dessert).“

“I recently visited Specialty’s Cafe & Bakery in San Francisco for a quick breakfast, and I was thoroughly impressed. The cafe features Peet’s Coffee, which makes for a perfect start to the day. I opted for takeout and ordered a Cafe Mocha and the spinach mushroom sandwich, both of which were delicious and fresh. The self-checkout system was incredibly convenient, making the ordering process seamless. The indoor seating area is comfortable, with a great ambiance for both quick stops and longer visits. If you have time, the walk around the bay just outside is absolutely stunning, offering a peaceful escape with beautiful views. A fantastic spot for a quick bite or to linger longer—highly recommend!“

“Classic Diner / Cafeteria old school feel. New owners are very nice and engaging with the customers. Complete opposite of the old owners who were indeed grumpy and three times in a row got my orders wrong so I had stopped going there. Plus all the food had a similar flavor that was off-putting. The noodle soups have always been pretty good, but that one time the old owner gave Beef Udon instead of the Veggie I ordered was the last straw. (The beef was awful) Speaking with the new owner I can tell that they want to elevate the food and are indeed doing so. I'm back to being a regular.
Some recent favorites:
BLT - Nice crispy thin bacon. Mmm.. (they laugh when I ask for it on white but I'm traditional)
French Fries - The've been really good recently.
Steak & Arugula salad was killer! (it was a Daily Special)
Pesto Chicken sandwich was excellent.“

“Best fresh food you can find on campus. So excited that they’re open again. Various options to choose from the salad bar, grill and the hot food options. They change every day! Some of my favorites are the Philly cheesesteak, the spicy chicken fritter sandwich, the baked chicken legs, lasagna and chicken florentine. This is definitely the only place I eat. Restaurant is clean, the cook gives generous portions and the staff are so kind.“

“Incredible! The future of the food industry, especially dining, delivery, safety, and delicious dining preparation of your favorite dishes. The experience is unreal. You have to experience Charter Oak to believe in the opportunities and see the possibilities. Anyone can plan on being a great chef in the San Francisco Bay Area with Charter Oaks Plan. Seafood bisque to San Mateo, Thai cuisine to Pacifica, soups with noodles to Mill Valley, and pasta dishes to Concord, Charter Oak is international. Always growing. Always changing. Thomas Chee“
“It's good that the CCSF Cafeteria has tofu. The only thing is that the tofu should be cheaper than the animals. The mushroom barely soup was too oily also. The small square of tofu was about $4.50. Would like to pay less for plant based options.“
