This place was so good. The atmosphere was very chic and cool without trying too hard. The service was great. Almost everything on the menu was gf execute one thing (a biscuit) so that was amazing. And what’s even better? It was actually all AMAZING!We started with the cheesy buns with arugula-walnut pesto and onion jam. As a longtime and frequent visitor to the City, I returned to Firefly last evening to reminisce about the decades of staying at a home on 24th St. Although the “vibe” on 24th St. has changed somewhat over the years, the cozy intimate setting, welcoming and helpful wait staff at Firefly has not. Lovely little place, in a nice neighborhood. Staff and service were beyond excellent. Would have given food 5 stars but was a bit disappointed in the signature fried chicken dish. Was only lukewarm when delivered to table and the coating was not as interesting or tasty as it might have been. Plenty of other choices though. Would definitely try again!
