“Peter's Cafe is a very old and very nice place for breakfast. The atmosphere, food and service is very much like an IHOP. The service is always very efficient and friendly, and the ommlets are really good.

“We had one of the best experiences last night. Tim our waiter was one of the best we have had. He was able to find Sprite Zero for my wife's drink. He also delivered a warm chocolate chip cookie with a small scoop of ice cream for my wife even though it wasn't in the menu. His ability to go above the call of duty and not just say no I can't get that for you was so amazing it had to make sure it is recognized. Exceptional service needs to be acknowledge and rewarded. In a moment that was incredibly frightening for me, your team’s fast response and professionalism quite literally saved my life. I truly believe that without your quick thinking, I wouldn't be here today to write this note.

I also want to extend a special thank you to the Manager on duty. Taking the time to speak with my wife on the phone and provide her with updates while the medical team assisted me meant the world to her during a very difficult hour.

“The burger was really good. Got the HWC burger with waffle fries, the burger was really flavorful and juicy. Taste wise I had zero complaints.

Overall the meal was sort ok for the price in SF I guess. The burger itself was almost the size of a whopper jr but with more meat. The quality of the burger is great but the size is a bit disappointing. Waffle fries were standard, nothing super amazing nor bad.

If I could just buy 2 burgers for the price of the burger & fries I'd be more than happy. That said, even with the but of criticism I'd go back again no hesitation.“

“We had an absolutely lovely experience here! Came for my boyfriend’s birthday, everyone was friendly and attentive. Fantastic high end ambience. The food was almost too beautiful to eat and every one of us thoroughly enjoyed our entrees. One of our guests said it was the best spaghetti he had ever had! The mushroom risotto was perfection. I had the Chilean sea bass and WOW! The salmon was also amazing. The other two guests had roasted chicken and hangar steak… I didn’t get to try them but they looked amazing and everyone cleaned their plate even though we were full lol! We will absolutely be back. “So many options, amazing service, kind staff, tons of parking, and it’s right next to an awesome grocery store and a new modern library and rec center? What’s not to love? The pancakes are also so chewy, I have never had something like it. I love it. The gravy for their country fried chicken is not heavy. I also love the aesthetic here. I grew up in San Francisco, and everything now feels super modern, but this spot really reminds me of my childhood. I also spent a lot of time nearby in Millbrae since my other parent lived there for a bit, so it feels extra nostalgic. I can’t believe I haven’t been here all my life and I am in my 20s! Will be coming back a lot.“

“This casual diner had really really good food! I got a steak and cheese omelette, and love that they have options of black beans (instead of potato) and crepe (instead of toast) as sides. I was trying to be healthy but the crepe was so so good with the buttered strawberry creme cheese. That alone makes me want to come back haha“

“We come to this restaurant regularly and it never disappoints. We were there again for Thanksgiving with a group of friends, and it was perfect as always. They offered their regular menu along with a Thanksgiving special. The turkey was outstanding: perfectly cooked, flavorful, and incredibly moist.
Everything here is consistently delicious, with a great range of options, and the prices remain very reasonable (which has become rare these days!). The food, the atmosphere, the service and the reliability keep us coming back. Highly recommend!“

The appetizers were a standout - the focaccia was incredibly soft and fresh, the Brussels sprouts were perfectly charred and crispy, and the burrata with beets was delicious. While the mains were less memorable, we did enjoy the truffle risotto, but the other pasta dishes were a bit bland. Dessert was truly the highlight of the meal. “Best fresh food you can find on campus. So excited that they’re open again. Various options to choose from the salad bar, grill and the hot food options. They change every day! Some of my favorites are the Philly cheesesteak, the spicy chicken fritter sandwich, the baked chicken legs, lasagna and chicken florentine. This is definitely the only place I eat. Restaurant is clean, the cook gives generous portions and the staff are so kind.“
